There's no such thing, go check your spam email and you will see similar instructions from unknown people instructing you to send hundreds of dollars because you are about to receive million dollars of inheritance, you better block that friends of yours it's too risky to have a friend like that if you met him online block him if offline tell your common friends about his activity.

You noticed it yourself that there's something wrong, it's because that is really wrong. Your friend is just trying to trick you. Why would you pay that amount of money to verify the transaction? If you send him money, he might not send you the money he was talking about so better be careful. But first, do you know the reason why he wants to give you money? If there's no any appropriate reason why he wants to give you money, then ask him first.

I have never used a bitcoin ATM, but I often see bitcoin ATM machines on YouTube they don't work like that, why do you have to send bitcoin to get confirmation, it looks funny, sorry to meddle in your business, make sure it is correct, I feel you are being deceived because if your friend sends money it should have been sent, you don't need to send money too, obviously it's like fraud
Yeah me too, I haven't use any real bitcoin ATM but I'm pretty that does not work like that by how the OP told it. It also made me laugh, like who the hell would fall on this scam? a classic and traditional scam in 2019.  I guess that is not his friend, not even a just a week ago friend, it is more like a random person contacted him that he'll be receiving an exact amount buy needed the transaction fee first. If you are just smart enough you're going to smell what's the catch on this one, you could've say "just cut off the transaction fee to amount you'll gonna send" or " just send it directly to my wallet and cut the fee on it". Be aware always, I thought we already learned out lesson this previous years.
I understand now, I just remembered I have experienced a similar case like this, where I was given a registration prize from the bitcoin mining site and I have waited almost 3 months to withdraw the money from mining, but had to make a bitcoin deposit before I withdrew my money from on that site, I knew they were trying to fool me, so I left and the site has until now disappeared

Indeed, such a modus is an old style modus but it still works with different ideas. And so far there are still many victims of such scam modus , even my close friend a few weeks ago has experienced the same thing even though it is not in the form of bitcoin. This proves there are still many people in the world in the technology gap, this must be socialized to narrow the scammer to work.
we cannot stop the fraudsters if basically everyone is too eager for free money and are willing to spend money for free money, whereas what should be held is that there is no free money on the internet and must pay for something free

It sounds like a scam, I have never seen a case where I need to send money to verify transactions. This is how scammer works and newbies will be easily fooled with these tricks. Be careful and stay away from them

That looks like a scam to be honest, I mean, if he's your friend and wants to give you 30k$ which it's a huge amount of money, he wouldn't ask for 700$ for you to pay? I mean it's not logic because it can be like one transaction with that amount and he shouldn't pay like 700$ for fees, it's gonna be just a few dollars for that. Just be careful do deal with that guy, because it seems fishy and he just wants to get your 700$ and scam you.

Greed is swallowing you.

I can offer you even larger than that but it could just be a lie.
Think about it!! It is too good to be true.
Friend of an Uncle? C'mon! I could tell you that I am your brother right now from another Father and I can make stories just about your basic information.

Sending money for what? What did you do for him that will make him pay that large amount?
There are not much people now who just gives money even with just a penny.

It could be for two possible reason, one is that the experience of the user is real and he really needs the advise of the forum members here to solve his problem, and second, he is just exaggerating things on his mind and his issue is just a mere product of thinking for possibilities that for me is still okay. Because in this case, we could brain storm and think of possible scenarios that might happen in bitcoin and cryptocurrency space that we could already provide solution in other words, to prepare us when OP's problem arrives in reality.

Bitcoin ATMs are only speculations made by companies that have an interest in themselves. Compared to buying bitcoin at a bitcoin ATM, it's better to buy on an exchange, because Fee will certainly be different. I have never found a bitcoin ATM and of course there are still very few people who use i

I think it is very risky in your part because it is like you need to invest or put money first in the atm bitcoin before you get the $30,000 which is your friend gives to you, because so many cases in the exchangers that you need first to deposit money in order to get your earnings in some exchangers and bitcoin atm. And it is very risky because you need a very large amount of money in order to get your money and you don't know if it would be a scam or not because maybe after you deposit money the atm will suddenly shutdown and your money will loss. Verification for around $700 is very risky so think about it first.

Many people commit fraud like this, but this certainly looks quite strange. however $ 30k is very much so seeing $ 700 is very small. Don't be fooled by something like that, friend. blockchain does not need another shipment to confirm the transaction unless there is a long delivery. however, you can ask your friend to help use the money first, when $ 30k is in your wallet, you can replace the money you borrowed from your friend.

Blockchain does not confirm shipments and deliveries what the hell haha,,, look this friend is not a friend. Can we just tell OP he is being scammed and move on.

It is not just Bitcoin. If you need to pay someone money to get something unstuck, it is a scam. Typical love-letter/Nigeria prince/Spanish prisoner scam;)

Old scam, new names.

I would like to ask you is he/she your true friend or not, If you know him through online maybe you should not trust him.
Actually many of that kind of person that would be probably get your attention. Must better to stay away from that kind of person and dont believe on what they said. When it comes in crypto we must be always aware those scammer and careful always must better to ignore him to early.

be careful friend, let me guess, surely you only know him on the internet, it's very clear that he wants to fool you, there is no free money on the internet, all need hard work, if anyone wants to give a lot of money on the internet forget it, what is more on condition that it is strange and not logical.

How well did you know your friend is your, friend, for you for years or you just become friend from Facebook I have seen and receive letters about an inheritance that he will send you a huge amount after you send him, don't send or fall to this unless you are 100% sure that this is how things work on that kind of ATM, but I highly doubt that first time I read that you need to send to get your Bitcoin on ATM if you proven that he tries to scam you, better block him.

I can’t understand, he promised you $30,000 Bitcoin for free, only you had to pay a fee? Didn't it seem strange to you? I'm glad you thought to write here, or you would be a victim of fraud. Be careful next time

Your friend wants to rob you and get $ 700. Bitcoin ATM does not have an address, this is a kind of scam.

Anything which asks for unrealistic money is a scam and in this case 700$ to confirm the transaction is only a scam. Secondly if you friend what to send any amount of bitcoin to you, why don't he send it directly to his wallet and there is no need for bitcoin ATM to be used for this purpose.
