Every day I see bitcoin going down even more. I don't understand why is it happening. Selling now is betraying the bitcoin's values as well as losing a lot of money. Why don't we all just calm down and at least stop selling our coins? Bitcoin's destiny is in our hands. If we believe it's a great coin then it indeed is a great one. If we tell others how good bitcoin and other coins are then they are going to believe in it themselves and it will help the market to recover.
If we, however, decide that everything is doomed then it indeed will be so! Why not to hope for the better and try to hold (if not buy) our funds, so that we are the ones who win rather than lose?
I am even thinking about making a flash-mob in facebook. For example, we all could post hashtagged message '#iamholdingbtc'. We can change the things for the best. But we do have to believe in it and do something, not just let the stupid news ruin our world.
Who's with me on this?
I bought bitcoins now, recently the price of the bitcoin has been in turmoil, the price dropped a lot, I lost a lot,
I don't know what to do, I want to sell my COINS, but I will lose a lot of money.
My friend asked me to hold my bitcoin patiently, and it will soon recover.

I got u and, I suppose, everyone feels ur thoughts but there are several groups of people who owns BTC in different amounts. It means that there are rich ppl who doesnt wanna loose so much at that period of descreasing. Also, there are kitties with a few BTC who acts different and, moreover, think different. So, I just wanted to say that u have to understand the situation from the bottom to the top.

I have more bitcoins thanks to speculation. I bought Bitcoin from the $ 7,000 price level with the $ 10,000 money I had accumulated by selling at a high price. I do not complain at all.

people dont want to stop selling because they are scared bitcoin may fall below the initial prize the bought and no one wants to make a loss. not all understands that holding back bitcoin only makes it scare to buy in the market but selling carelessly increases the prize

I've been telling you lot for ages to sell up, buy back when it's at 2k.

Hodlers are foolish.

Bitcoin has crossed 8.5k USD again and is on an upward trend. Good luck waiting for 2k.

I agree, in and out speculation hasn't worked since markets began.  At least not for amateurs (like me!).  Just going to sit on it.
Speculation works only sometimes. If nobody speculated the price of Bitcoin then there wouldn't be that many people talking about it.

Yes, I hold permanently bitcoin. I keep holding my bitcoin for long time.because I have a fully confidence with bitcoin again going up 20K cross. So now I don't sell my bitcoin. Just still holding.
Good mate you are much better than those who are selling in this time, and selling in this time is giving more decline to the prices and those who are not leaving bitcoin side at this time will be in great profit time incoming days because prices are just matter of time and as the good time will come people will get record profit on the coins they are holding.

So keep calm in the days of dip and wait for the pump to occur and panicking is not solution to reduced dip time it maybe a reason to create more dip of prices and panic.

If no one sells, then nobody can buy. We need people that sells their bitcoin in order to buy more. Rather advise people to stop selling at loss, like many do when the price is falling.

we can not deny that the price of the bitcoin is fluctuating, the ups and downs are very fast. so if the bitcoin goes down then many people panic that makes them sell their assets

That's why we are advising them against selling the precious coins in such a situation because its making them grow weaker and lower in value if we keep selling them but we ought to hold them for a long time if we wish to strengthen it and make it stronger in value again.

Don't waste the words, seems like no one is listening.
Is there realy so little number of experienced, cool headed users that behave rationaly and the majority are newbies in crypto world who react with panic on every bad sign on the market? By now it should have been different but looks that just the few have learned the lesson.

First crypto index traded as a token!

The price drop is caused by selling out. Last week's negative news was the main reason why many investors sold their Bitcoins. And big shot investors have most of the cryptocurrencies and whenever they start selling, they cause a huge price drop. The small bitcoin community is promoting holding, but investors have a different objective: to make fast money.

It's a shame when people panic and sell their BTC. Well, is it really not clear that someone very big plays and makes you panic sell at a loss.
People! Stop it! Everything will return. But only if you are cold-blooded.

On the opening poll, I voted for: I hold patiently. The negative news from the world around the bitcoin caused the bitcoin to drop rapidly. For me bitcoin is a long-term affair, and I believe that the reversal will come this year.
When the "weak hands" dominate, the market becomes vulnerable. From a long-term viewer I think it's good to have a bitcoin in stock. I try not to succumb to panic and not to sell out of fear.
It's really going to take a while before BITCOIN will be able to reach the value that it previously had i think the best thing to do was to just hold and wish that it doesn't go down any longer. It has been a very difficult week and i really hope that the Chinese no longer come into the cryptocurrency business again.

Yeah we are foolish. But when all of you cannot buy any more bitcoin then who will the fool?
It could be the fool's gold right?  Tongue
Have you ever thought where bitcoin would be without the holders. If they all sell their coins then you wont be here in this forum anymore. Maybe you will be in Ethereum forum.  Grin

You can't be surprised. So many people moved into BTC, without understanding ANYTHING about it, or how it operates. These "Johnny come lately's" jumped on the band wagon and got burned. BTC will continue down, but within a range for the next year or two. Once these weak hands are all flushed out, we will move higher.

Now, here is where I agree with. The weak hands that I have quoted first will be flushed out.
This could also be a way to stop the whales from playing with the bitcoin price. Give them a little room to buy once they sell their coins. Suffocate them until they cannot get bitcoin anymore the way they want to have it.
Do not let them buy again.

Chain reaction in the market is always happening everyday, maybe some of the consumers who invest very hard before are selling a huge amount of their investment and that is the reason for a massive decrease bitcoins today.
