You can always download an updated Pandacoin bootstrap.dat here https://bchain.info/PND/bootstrap.dat
It makes a new install go faster and easier, and works for hybrid mode also, just place it in your Pandacoin Data directory with your wallet.dat (once it is created) and restart PandaBank.

Does anyone know how to create a bootstrap.dat. I received one sometime ago that gets me about half way thru the blockchain quickly. Twice my pnd wallet wont start without an error and i've had to reinstall the wallet and download the blockchain. Takes forever. I'd like to make a more current bootstrap.dat  in case it happens again.

Just noticed myself too https://comkort.com/blog/news/comkort_close
This is too bad, I thought comkort was always a decent and dependable exchange.  They could never get enough volume trading to support their operation despite their efforts unfortunately.

If anyone would like to use their Pandacoin to help a worthwhile charity please see http://pnd4pnd.com/
Brolong has updated the site and all Pandacoin donations are much appreciated and will be sent to the respective organizations as US dollars they require.

What version are you trying to compile, you will probably be happiest with the simpler https://github.com/pandacoin-official/pandacoin/releases/tag/v2.0.2
version 2.02 is a more typical wallet, and is perfectly compatible with our running network, recommended for exchanges, hope this helps some.

I will post on our irc your error to see if we can get you some better help.

Been trying for days to compile this coin, anyone have any clues on this error:
utiltime.cpp: In function 'void MilliSleep(int64_t)':
utiltime.cpp:52:5: error: 'sleep_for' is not a member of 'boost::this_thread'
utiltime.cpp:52:42: error: 'boost::chrono' has not been declared

Well (crosses fingers) I think our Pandacoin finally is in good shape for getting added to https://www.cryptopia.co.nz/Home/Voting
per their statement:
Each registered user receives 1 vote for each coin each day. (Trusted users votes are multiplied by thier trust rating)
Additional votes can be purchased using DotCoin(DOT) currency, You can add as many DOT votes as you would like.
Any coin that reaches 5 million votes in a round will be added to Cryptopia immediately, (This will not affect the voting rounds)

Since ldoge received 5 million dot votes and naut was close I voted using dot for naut to get them also to 5 million hoping that leaves our PND in the running with only 1,338,116 DOT votes.
We still have just under 19 hours to go, any votes are helpful, a few more DOT votes wouldn't hurt.

On another note, I just bought a couple of shares for a managed Pandacoin Node from this Bitnode crowdfund link and will match anyone else's purchased shares.  If you can help, please do, they accept payments using CoinPayments.net so I chose to buy using our Pandacoin Smiley
https://bitnodes.net/services/crowdfunding/pandacoin-node/
I think it is a good way to decentralize our Pandacoin infrastructure further and help provide more PND network strength as well as another backup service to check for other Pandacoin nodes...
The goal of eventually selling $100 would get us three maintained Pandacoin nodes for one full year, but we will get the first one as soon as 50 shares sell.

I did find out the deal with the hybrid mode is that during verify when you are behind also receiving blocks you can have that bug, one trick is to disable the network for the verify step; however I recommend classic mode for now if you are having trouble. once it gets that blkindex.dat error, unfortunately you have to delete everything except wallet.dat in your Pandacoin data folder (%appdata%/Pandacoin) folder to try again.

Then when you try again switch to classic right away then exit, download and place https://bchain.info/PND/bootstrap.dat in the same place as wallet.dat and restart your PandaBank to speed things up some.

Hope this helps some, you may or may not need a Pandacoin.conf file with good nodes (cut and paste example lines below into a plain text Pandacoin.conf file) so it is a good idea to make one and place it in your Pandacoin data folder also prior to starting Pandabank.

Great news. Deleting (again) everything except wallet.dat in that folder, changing to classic mode with network disconnected, then dropping in the blockchain file and config file as you suggest worked fine. Running in classic mode still (on the mac) and too scared to change to hybrid, but at least all is working and I am staking again. Thanks for all your suggestions jommy99...You are a credit to this community

Glad to be of help with anyones Pandacoin supported wallet(s) or service etc. just ask, it is always nice to see more Pandacoins being used and PandaBanks Online stake mining to help secure the Pandacoin network.
Well activated www.DigitalPandacoin.org today; although it is very much a work in progress, imo it is nice to have a real home Page for Pandacoin again. If anyone would like to help make it better just speak out we are always looking for feedback, new ideas and Interested People, Pandacoin is for everybody.
