Another good reason to be proud of this community and showing the love.
Instead of everyone yelling "to the moon", buy buy buy, a lot of people brought up good points.
You always have to research your investments and be confident in them. This is a very loving, generous and mature community.

Keep up the good work!

Common sense would tell you to let go of dead coin (octo) and invest on a better coin (pnd). so yes, go ahead!

Yeah, that's a sound advice. Never go more than 50% of your fundings to a single asset.
...if I could only listen to my own advice...

That's my thinking; I was in a bunch of coins but basically all I have left is Panda and I keep selling off stagnant, dead shit and buying more Panda.  This is where the wreckage from my Voot "investment" wound up as well as what I had in Syscoin.  Everything else on the market is so obviously pump/dump transient crap that won't be there next month that it isn't worth the time.  I guess if I was a full time day-trader sitting at a screen all day I could play the market but day-job, life, etc. mean that can't happen.  I hope the Panda people come through; I don't really want to use the "sell" button for a while (I will in heart beat though.  The worst thing in Crypto is to get emotionally caught up in a coin.)

I'm sure investing on pandacoin will be your best decision so far

So, I have about $2000 I just got from my uncle for graduating.

Can I invest a bunch in PND? What's the easiest way?

1. First, can you handle loosing everything suddenly? Panda is good coin but crypto is the Wild West.  This isn't investing in General Electric or Google.  I was in Voot, a stable, up-trending coin.  Developer drama killed it and now Vootcoin is worthless. Death took about an hour.

2. Can you handle your $2000 becoming $500 then $3000 then $750 then $3000 again then down to $100 and to $2100 all day long every hour or so? Panda will going on a wild ride as the whales fight with values all over the place as it hopefully trends up.  I'd suggest staying off the charts and sticking to the forum.  Although there's a ton of FUD and self-service if there's a real problem or something really great is going on you'll be able to figure it out here.

3. If OK for the above, I'd sign up with Cryptsy, go through their verification process for fiat, transfer your money in, turn it into BTC, send that BTC to Mintpal and buy Panda.  I wouldn't do a huge buy.  There will be dips and I'd buy on those. Watch the forum on Saturday and be ready to put in more or sell off depending upon the news re the new features.

Alright. I'll take a look at the verification process and see if I want to get in that way, otherwise I'll look for alternatives.

Please be sure to research everything and don't go all in with your funds if it's all you got.

See? Case and point. Smiley

What other crypto community would actually warn an individual against the dangers of investing, before providing the information about how properly to go about investing?

I want to commend you all for truly exemplifying excellent behavior and care for one another.

Well done friends Smiley

Easiest way to buy it is convert fiat => BTC, LTC => send it to Mintpal => buy PND

Okay. I'll see about doing that. Would you suggest any service in particular?
