Rethinking Digital Currency

Bitcoin, the world’s first decentralized digital currency, was launched in 2009. It was the prototype that introduced and demonstrated to the world the potential benefits and usages of a decentralized digital currency. However, digital currencies are still in their infant stages and have yet to see widespread mainstream adoption and usage as a unit of exchange both online and offline. There is a need to rethink the current approach to the design and marketing of digital currencies in order to achieve a global mass appeal.

If everyone would be exchanging their LTC for PND that would be nice would give us a nice boost.
The "sad" thing about it is, the more it drops, the more people make losses and give up on cryptocoins.

Since LTC has dropped much, it seems like a good time to buy it and trade it for PND, to profit from the fact that their price still are tied together.

I checked it out, thanks but still there has to be a better way. Especially with BTC and LTC dropping like flies.

On usepnd.com, you can actually buy PND, without going through BTC/LTC. I would like to see an exchange where one can buy, but for now, you do have a place to buy. You just need to go through paypal or coinpayments. The only problem is the price does not completely go along with market value; but hey, I can buy straight PND. 

I would really like it if it would be easier to buy PND. Now you have to buy Bitcoin/litecoin, which is already complicated, then transfer them to Mintpal and then change it there for PND. It's not easy to get people with no experience to do that.

I like it! It's a very good idea actually.

I like the integration with pnd4pnd charity funds into the wallet. Maybe put an option to donate % of the transaction fees/manually to one of the organizations as a sign of goodwill

Too add up some more ideas for developments/communityfunds usage:

Auto transaction/payment option, So we can configure a transaction wich will occur daily/weekly/monthly... Just like using a real bankaccount

example, I like too donate 1000PND each week too pnd4pnd.... It would be great if I can automate that proces.

I think this could be really usefull in the future if PND gets widely accepted as a currency

I think mobile wallets should be a priority for the community chest. It will make overall daily use a lot easier and will increase merchant adaptation.
