This thread is fifth in view count on bct.
While I think there should be some other place to go to if bct has problems, there's quite some overhead in running another site, with more one community to manage, and stuff.
Hence my vote is: idk.

I don't get this constant dumps, people are dumping hundreds of millions of pnd a day like it's nothing, like they have infinite ammount of coins and they're not even trying to buy back at 1sat, which would make more sense cause of the next big update coming, but no. To me this looks like one or two whales want this coin dead.

No, this is what it looks like when the dev's are awol and we have unanswered questions and unresolved problems. Devs better speak up soon.

Devs are probably taking a little break. You ll have a better chance catching them on the IRC.

on a side note, I think we can really benefit from having our own forum. (We have one setup, it's just currently disabled)

anyone with me?

I've had a similar problem, but it went away after I deleted peers.dat also.
You might try that.

well, did that, but nothing happens, 6385 blocks remaining and up  :'(

Your best bet is to try and delete your blockchain and everything in the pandacoin folder (make sure you back up wallet.dat). If the exact problem still persists try using older version just to be very sure that it's not the client that's causing the problem
Yeah, that's what I wrote before the forum crashed again.
You can try it while waiting for a dev to help, won't hurt.

well, assuming that I deleted everything last night and let sync again
this morning everything was like before with the new coins and fully sync
I'm not sure I understand.
Is it working fine now?

sorry, sometimes my english expression is not so good

yep, it is working
Great! This makes me happy panda :)

Sorry to hear that, friend.

It must be some kind of a rare issue. We sould ask the devs at this point.

The way to rid of dumpers is to give them a reason to hold.

That means giving them a vision of the future they can believe in.

A development road map would be a good first step towards it.

+1 again. Nobel prize winner for best philosopher of the PND community.

It'd be nice.
i8, you make a very good point.

And cadexn, the developers being quiet could very likely be a signal of the calm before the good storm.
