Just my two cent...

Yesterday i was walking in a square. There was a lot of young people, but i remained surprised by a lot of teens that plays as older addicted gambler. I think this game could be the first step for show the potential risk to became addicted from gambling and i suggest to parents to take a look about this kind of problem. I think that a 17 year's old boy first need to think about girls, disco, soccer  Undecided

i don't really know why you say that because pokemon go have nothing with gambling, you don't open boxes to get chance for good stuff, you can buy poekballs and such

Dude, Pokemon Go is not the first addicted game ever, since there are video games there have been addicts.

There was a time in my life when I played counter Strike at least 5 hours a day, there were days I played for 12 hours.

Ya listen to this guy he's a smart one.. you can tell by looking at his Avatar  Wink
Sometimes we bump into each other on land  Shocked

I agree with your sentiment too..

Many a day i was a camping AWP whore hiding in a bush with the tip of my penis dipped into a Gatorade bottle tucked between my legs !

I got that sun of a bitch too !

I fucking got him good.. BOOM HEAD SHOT YA FUCKING NOOB !!!1
Sit down & spectate you god damn scrub !
Watch the leet play da game bitches !

Bloody punks with no walls ? I still fuckin' pwn 'em !
Punks with their mouse wiggling around.. i knife'd that bitch !

Okay. I don't get what you just said.
The addiction from Pokemon Go is entirely different from addiction to gambling since Pokemon Go itself isn't gambling because there's really no money involved in every game.

I think that when a person spends most of his time chasing a game, this type of action becomes a disease. In all of this Pokemon go could indicate an initial tendency toward to exaggerate in the game that over time could result in the first step to became a gambler.

What!? This is like saying "I caught a Pokemon now I'm completely a gambler." When I saw the title of this thread, I was like "Uhm, okay. Is there money involved in Pokemon Go and can you bet on battles? Let me check real quick."

OP's point is still unclear to me due to his not-so-good-English. But this is how I pictured it: People are betting on Pokemon battles. Not sure why would people bet on battles in Pokemon Go because Pokemon players all know that each element is weak/strong against an element or two. Pro players would always win on this type of betting game because by knowing the element and the gap etween the levels of two Pokemons, you would easily know which one would win.

Sorry for Bad english first. My post is not about spendig money in Pokemon Go, but is related to the time that a lot of people spend in cathcing pokemon. I only would say that if sameone spend a lot of time for follow a game, it's could be a first step of gambling addiction.

Well and what of it? Most of those people who play pokemon go if they didn't spend it in Pokemon go they would spend it Playing csGo .
Some people have really gotten up from depression  and are on their fit because they want to play Pokemon go.
Spending a lot of time Is not bad. Unless you are not eating, you are not working , you are not  bathing you are not socializing (but let me tell you that you will socialize a lot in this game)
If the user wants to spend his time there, then let him spend his time there. As i told you . if he didn't had pokemon go he would spend his time somewhere else on a chair.
If tho that person doesn't take any bath, hardly eats anything because he is focused on the game and stuff then yeah i have some bad news, you are really addicted to it.
and you should focus about improving yourself. anyway..  thats that

It might be the first step towards addiction but not necessarily gambling addiction IMO. Unless Pokemon Go has added a betting feature which isn't that good (I explained this above.) If money is involved in Pokemon Go, it might lead to gambling addiction but today's version of Pokemon Go doesn't have that.

I can't believe how popular that Pokemon Go game is, there are literally men in their 30's playing it, obsessed with it. All a bit weird if you ask me, fine for kids but I think it's strange adults play it.

Kids don't have a car to go hunt pokemons in cool places, they can't afford spending 100 euros in Pokecoins, they don't have mobile connections with enough data. Smiley

Plus, it's good for people to exercise and spend more time in the outdoors.

like many others here i'm not really seeing the correlation between pokemon and gambling. Addiction to anything
is bad even coffee.  I definitely think Pokemon is just a phase and soon the idea of hunting and walking around and
doing all this random stuff for no real goal will subside and die eventually just like the macarana.

this is not new at all , such addiction exists since long time and it's not a big problem I guess
people used to be addicted to candy crush a couple of years ago  Grin it's a normal but such addiction don't last for long time cause people will be bored soon and they will leave the game
