polkadot with the deFI concept is currently one of the good coins, but I don't think that polkadot can replace ethereum because what I know now is that there is a difference between polkadot and ethereum systems. so it's not something a system can replace easily.
i don't think polkadot will be able to beat ethereum or replace ethereum because polkadot has very little support than ethereum, the project developed is also not as good as ethereum, although polkadot tries to make it the same price as ethereum then it will require a lot of effort.
DOT is now the prima donna of many people besides SOL. Prices are still low according to some people to be an attraction because some analysts predict the price will be able to penetrate $ 100. This can happen because with transactions that continue to increase, Polkadot can become the next ethereum even though it has to compete with many well-established coins

I also think that Polkadot is a very promising project. I believe that one day Polkadot will be as popular as Binance Smart Chain now. I am doubting if it will be able to compete with Ethereum, but it must be popular. It helps fresh projects that can't afford their own Blockchain. Within time they will make some improvement including making their wallets more convenient and it will be more popular then.
I am just like you learning about polkadol coin and as far as I know it is a development project, and improving the limitations of etherum, and all polkadot transactions will be run in parallel on the polkadot network. there are special features than etherum , and wed 3.0 are the former companions of ETH, what do you think in the future polkadot will be?
unfortunately that is not possible. because one of the shortcomings of Polkadot is in its high inflation rate. although ethereum does not have a total supply but the inflation rate of ethereum is still at a reasonable limit. This is different from Polkadot which sets an inflation rate of 10% per year. this is one of the reasons DOT won't be the next ethereum. and for now there is not a single platform that can be said to be the next ethereum.

yep, I also think DOT will do its own thing in this market. And we don't need to assign blockchain use cases on separate platforms. Its potential probably does not need to be discussed too much, the future of DOT is perfect. 
there are plenty of opinions from other people if you say so and so wish. I assume that your wishes and hopes will certainly not come true because the altcoin you are pairing with ethereum is not a competitor. I think it's very far between polka-dot and ethereum and polka-dot can never be the next ethereum.
What most excited from Polkadot become the next eth? I think not enough reason why have to said polkadot is the next eth because eth is greatest coins and now have higher price above $3k, Polkadot stuck on $24 but eth have raise more than $3k and very different price between polkadot and eth, better looking with other coin have close price with eth to compare not polkadot.

It had so many promises and developer announcement but after all one important point was: Polkadot suffered from huge inflation. Inflation really killed Polkadot, when no one invested in it anymore.

Because every time more coins are issued, Polkadot was losing value. Bitcoin for example instead, has a capped supply and a lot less coins were issued at Bitcoin, so Bitcoin performed much better.
I hope, people avoid Polkadot next time and buy instead Bitcoin, Ethereum or Avalanche, which are a much better store of value because of a capped supply.

The value of Polkadot transactions continues to increase and this shows that investor interest continues to increase. Everyone has their own perspective on which coin to be next ethereum but I think the coin that offers transaction speed with low fees will be the next ethereum coin
there are so many altcoin that say the next Ethereum, even though in my opinion none of them can become the next Ethereum, because until whenever Ethereum will remain a popular blockchain and be used by many projects, so no one can replace Ethereum in position 2 on coinmarketcap and become the next Ethereum.
I have been waiting for the news for a very long time when there will be the first auctions for spare parachains. I heard that these projects will be added as parachains without a vote because they are very important to the ecosystem.

You got the point dude. Both must be co exist and there's no reason to compare DOT and ethereum. The founder of DOT was also a part of ethereum team member. The creation of DOT to bring a new blockchain with a new innovation like parachain. People should stop to talking if what will become the next ethereum. DOT aims to be an alternative for ethereum.I see there's no developers who directly said if it will be replacing or something like that. This trend must be stopped

Ethereum remains the top Altcoin and Polkadot is difficult to become the next Ethereum. What I say is something that in my opinion deserves to be analyzed for its veracity. For something to be the next big thing, it means it is replacing another or beating the other. As for me, I would say there is nothing like the next Ethereum, we have been hearing that for a long time now but yet nothing. One of the things people failed to understand about Ethereum is that, their team of experts are always relentless and working hard, now take a look at the market, many people are of the opinion that Ethereum is leading the market right now into a bull market, do you know what it means for such to happen or for people to have such mindset? It means Ethereum is doing something great and exceptional.

Congestion and failed transactions, and now no one is saying anything about it again but moving to Polygon chain. IMO EOS are the best dApps platform recently, the problem is its lacked of marketing things. It have good infrastructure with huge community on it. Also, if you do transact on the chain, its really fast and cheap.
EOS didn't lack of marketing. it has gotten 4 billions money and it's cash. It doesn't make sense a company with 4 billions cash can't do a massive marketing. I think that you know nothing about this dude. EOS was the worst DPOS chain. blockone was controlling everything. that's why so many people didn't even like EOS.

By the way ethereum is not done yet, there are so many project ahead and it's too early to say polkadot will replace ethereum. Ethereum 2.0 is gonna launch soon after 6 years ethereum exist, does not rule out the possibility there will be ethereum 3.0 4.0 and so on in the future. The ethereum developers are great and they must have many good plannings ahead.
Polkadot is a network that was created to be able to connect blockchain networks with one another. Unlike the network on Bitcoin that operates alone, this crypto asset has a multi-chain network because it can join networks together. yes, even though this coin was founded by Parity Technologies, led by two former Ethereum executives, it still doesn't mean it can replace Ethereum, because apart from bitcoin, ethereum is one of the best coins.
I don't think it's the right time to compare Polkadot with Ethereum. We all know about Ethereum and are aware of its growth. I am certain to such an extent that Polkadot has a potential future and this will be an esteemed stage into what's to come. Nonetheless, to say that it tends to be the following Ethereum is really a misnomer in light of the fact that concerning me there isn't anything that can supplant Ethereum even the present moment that it is as yet influenced by the scourge of its own amazingly high exchange expense. Polkadot is a cryptocurrency that has recently entered the market and needs ample time to grow in popularity and usage. Ethereum, on the other hand, is an old cryptocurrency in the cryptocurrency market and has reached a strong position through market fluctuations. So I don't think there is any need for a replacement or comparative review between the two at the present time.
