I found a article telling he himself reported that his IQ was 156 which would make him the second most intelligent president of all time.

Have a look and let me know if it's true or just another story that was made up.

Are we shooting for honesty here? Hope not because I voted for option #1.

I voted first, and now I'm trying to grasp what having a negative IQ would entail...

Working backwards to justify my answer.

I suppose IQs can go negative. I mean, if the price of oil can go negative, then why not?
Not really sure how IQs can go negative... But for some reason i just know Trump's IQ is below 0 haha...

I think Trump is a very smart person. The way he knows how to organize a business, the way he competently conducts political activities in the role of the US president. Not everyone can do it just as well.

$120000 in 2024 Confirmed
Do any of you have a suggestion for someone who would be a better president than Trump, who is also realistically going to be someone you can vote for?

This is just sad.

what is this "brake pedal" you speak of?
Ordinary people who are not involved in politics (like we are) cannot know what Trump is actually doing. It seems strange to me that the media criticize him periodically. I don't think that a stupid person can become president.

i suppose stupid can be relative, but is sure looks like an unqualified person (at the least) can become president from where im sitting.

We know that Donald Trump is the oldest president of America. He is now 73 years old. With age, the function of the human brain decreases. This is called cerebral atropy.

When a person reaches the age of 75, his brain function decreases by 15% compared to what when he was 25 years old.
Source: Wikipedia

This is the formula for calculating IQ.
Mental Age / Chronological age multiplied by 100 = IQ

As Donald Trump's chronological age increases, so does his mental age decreasing accordingly.

Now we will calculate Trump's IQ...
Chronological age= 73
Mental Age= 19

IQ=(19/73)multiplied by 100
    =26%

And that's my vote.

Is it possible that his IQ level is high and his brains works very fast that his mouth can't keep up?
My impression is that he has an intuitive understanding of how to persuade people. Perfect for salesmanship and politics.
He's not a politician for starters that's why he was elected as President at first place and about his salesmanship rest of the world calls it bullying.

The main thing is to keep track of your own IQ  Wink

the negative range (-22 to 0) was included for just that reason Grin

Okay, that was actually pretty good. But I will still say the same to you as all the others. If you can name someone better then go ahead and do so.

Is it possible that his IQ level is high and his brains works very fast that his mouth can't keep up?

Hey.  I think that I tend to be a fairly charitable person, and I am willing to give benefit of the doubt.

On the other hand, most of us probably get some ideas about when we see a conman, and we have to come to a conclusion in a reasonable amount of time.. like maybe give them a few chances before we come to judgement.

Trump has truly proven himself, even while I understand that some people have concluded that he walks on water and that he can do no wrong, but I get the sense that some people just get pleasure in hearing what they want to hear.

I will admit that I will not necessarily sit through whole presentations with people that I know that are lying, so sometimes if there might happen to be some value in a 20 to 30 minute presentation that he might give, then someone might need to point that out to me, because I feel that there is not enough hours in the day and to riddle my own brain with lies and misinformation... it is not good for your brain or developing and maintaining your own critical thinking skills.

I am not going to berate anyone who wants to give him the benefit of the doubt, but frequently, I will find that if I engage with anyone who is really attempting to be intellectually honest, there is hardly anyone who really believes that he is NOT a con man.  Many people that support him so enthusiastically frequently are actually considering him to have utilitarian value in terms of their beliefs that his behaviors is actually carrying out their personal/ideological agenda in one way or various ways.

Hahahaha! great answer!

I don't think trump is a total idiot, i mean, he is not the smartest guy, but to be good at business isn't just about luck, you need some IQ for that. This crisis is hard for any president, people will die and there is not much they can do about it. But a smart guy would make fewer people die and not have those big numbers.

I have problems marking below 76 in the actual poll because Trump is truly not stupid, but he is a narcissistic bully who seems to have never had to account in any meaningful ways for his thug behaviors and lies.  He actually gets rewarded for such behaviors.

Yeah. Maybe he was beat up as a child, but I really doubt it.  He had likely always been just a spoiled brat who carried his behaviors into various other realms.

Regarding the more recent behaviors in terms of dealing with the virus, it may be a bit difficult to know whether he is being purposeful in his incompetence or really just innocently incompetent, and I do understand the old expression that we should never attribute malice to that which can be explained by incompetence (apparently it is called Hanlon's razor), but it is seeming that Trumps track record is filled with so much malice that his current behaviors are likely either to be malice or certain powers that be might be allowing or facilitating the malice aspects of Trumps already existing inclinations.

Probably these ongoing behaviors will continue to work to Trump's advantage because he is fairly good at keeping himself in the spotlight whether the attention facilitates getting positive things done, such as getting the economy back in order or getting some meaningful path forward in regards to the virus or otherwise... some of the seeming purposeful destruction of certain aspects of society while making less fortunate people bear the greatest brunt of his attention seeking bumblings.

Don't get me wrong.  I think that he is somewhat hilarious as a comic or someone who does not have power to wield, but in this case, his comedy has lots of impacts that seem to be more damaging than they are helpful, even though lots of people who want various aspects of society to be destroyed are liking these moves towards Armageddon.. even though they might not admit it out loud.
