I ask because I've seen some bitcoiners say they don't have smart/dumb phones, and at best only have Google Voice. I fall in the latter category, but know that some cell providers charge for SMS, so I would still use GV for SMS if the cell service charged for it.
If most don't primarily SMS for free, then it would be good for all of us in the BTC marketplace to know what is used for free text communication, so we can get somewhat standardized instead of listing a dozen or more different contact methods and pissing each other off.
So when you reply, feel free to argue why you prefer a certain method over the rest, and I may broaden the options of the poll (which allows vote changing) when some methods start looking popular.
