Would love to try this. Spend about $20 a week already on lottery and would like to see a Bitcoin Lottery that's just as enjoyable.

We are not stupid, and been a licensed online gaming business since 1999.
We know all the requirements to assure players that such a prize would be paid. Yes it is unheard of in the Bitcoin community, but that's one reason we want to have a true traditional lottery that players can and will trust.
A lottery system must be mathematically sound, and with one of the top professors at UNLV, and over 5 Billion picks simulated; we were able to come within 0.0001% of the actual odds.
All we want to know is there enough interest from the Bitcoin community to even offer this type of prize.
(With the current sampling of 23 votes and over 500 views, it does not look promising)

Well I play the normlal lottery every weekend so I could give this a try also, to pride me away from my hard earned money though I would need to see proof that you could pay the 2000btc assuming of course that I am super super lucky and win the jackpot, can you provide a signed message from an address with 2000btc in it? If you could I would have no problem buying 25-50 picks

Glad to hear it because if it does come to fruition then a signed message from an address with 2000btc would be the only way I personaly would part from any of my funds, that is a lot of money in a lottery jackpot. $500,000,00 'ish' massive maybe the biggest btc lottery jackpot? I would like to buy 11-25 picks for each dawings to have multiple chances to win jackpot.Question is same how would you assure the players that in case of hitting the jackpot the prize will be delivered to the winner without any problem. Many people have demanded the escrow and would second them to put the jackpot amount at multiple escrow as this is huge amount.
I would buy 10, but only if the funds were held with a trusted escrow ahead of the draw. I like the idea of such a large jackpot but I am skeptical that you will sell enough tickets for such a large jackpot to happen. What about a raffle style drawing, where the winnings scale with how much is put in?
I'd definitely purchase a few tickets, but I'd want to see it completely on-chain, fully provably fair, and include the scripts to reproduce the drawings. And to believe you're going to pay, I think more than just have the money you'd have to escrow the jackpot in say 2-out-3 multisig. (Where you could hold one, and two very trusted people from the bitcoin community each hold one each)
i love a fair and true lottery. they are fun and i think i would buy 5-10 picks since i like to try my chance.

2000 BTC is unheard of, I've never seen a bitcoin lottery offer that much in guaranteed winnings. I would buy 10 tickets just for fun.

One question, how would the 2000 BTC be kept prior to the drawing? In multiple escrows?
