I just read this topic and seems like chrome might not be the best idea as I have being using for a long time so I just downloaded TOR and using it for the first time. I have a VPN and will use it with TOR also from now on.

Currently using Firefox for accessing bitcointalk and I will keep changing the browser much often, sometimes I use TOR but not going to use it all the times because the loading time of pages is really slow in TOR compared to other web browsers.

I am using Google chrome. I love opening it in an incognito window. I hate saving my history. It makes my browsing experience slower.

I use Chrome, but maybe should use something else for better performance and privacy.  Sad
There are so many option specially if talking about our privacy mate.

Try Brave or at least firefox ,because chrome is really in not good reputation now regarding the 3rd party selling of data's.
Before i am using firefox for most what i am do on internet but since I have regular job i can not stay in front of my pc and just using my smartphone with chrome.

So i voted for chrome
lol try to read all the answers above for your own good mate,Chrome is not an option specially for cryptonians like us.

I was using chrome but recently i liked microsoft edge which is very smooth uptill now but reading all these comments i think i am a bit stupid in selecting the right browser. What i have understood is that we should use privacy based browsers like tor while being online so definitely i will try to get tor browser now. Can anyone also confirm me if using incognito or inprivate tab serves the same purpose?

You're never too old to think young.
Firefox here.

I can't believe anyone would use a non-open-source corporate browser like Chrome, Internet Explorer, Safari, etc.

I use tor browser for loging bitcointalk site. I think it will provide us our account privacy. I also recommend many people to use tor browser for log in bitcointalk.

It makes no difference which browser to use for this. I usually use the Opera browser, sometimes I use other browsers like Chrome

I have been using multiple browsers to access bitcointalk from my mobile phone like brave, chrome and vivaldi and I tried tor from my smartphone it takes too long to load every page.On my desktop I am using brave as well because of speed issue with Tor.

At first im using firefox, but im looking for a browser that can be use easily in mobile phone. So I switch to chrome because it is fast and functioning well in my phone. Though many users says its not safe, I still prefer this one when logging in here. I voted for chrome despite of the bad sides of using it.

CLEAN non GPL infringing code made in Rust lang
LibreWolf is specifically made for privacy concerned people. It is a continuation of the now defunct LibreFox, which itself is a fork of Firefox.
Yes Firefox too is full of junk, maybe less than Chrome, but still too much tracking and phone home things. You can check the details in the LibreWolf home page.

I no longer recommend Waterfox as this was sold in February to an advertising company, so stay away from it.

I also use the Chrome browser for Bitcoin. it's a really popular and old browser  most of the people feel comfortable using the Chrome browser  Each of those functions is extremely simple and has no problem understanding. The functions of other browsers are very complex you're right that the majority people will vote for the Chrome browser.

A bit concerning to see more than 40% of voters are using shitty Google Chrome.

I thought the same thing. I’m betting most of them hold their BTC in online wallets and “invest” in altcoins as well.
