Poloniex is the mecca of all trading players.
We can see the movement that will be preceded by poloniex,
This really helps me in making a profit

They had taken the number one spot on total trade volume once, which is something not so easy to accomplish if you are doing Alts mostly, and no fiat deposit/withdraws. But that race got lost later when numerous complaints surfaced. Quality of service has been on an accelerated decline !

Or maybe we see the August 1st aftermath, which kinda equalled a royal selloff and complete withdrawal using BTCs. Like a Bankrun.
btw. the "seized" rumors seem to be a cruel joke, the DNS records tell you they are still in busyness

All working fine now. Panic over...Until next time!
You all seem to be able to connect to poloniex.com.
From Prague it is currently not possible. 0:43 CET.
My question: is poloniex.com online by now?

Apparently there was a massive outage Huh

some people are posting that on twitter, but i can't find any news stories about US internet outages in the past 24h..

edit: they might have meant power outage.  looks like there was a big one on east coast.

Can't open site still but no hard feelings as I expect this to happen once a while.
Yesterday there was a log in problem in some other exchanges. They are all expected in networks and that can't let me withdraw my coins to other exchange. You don't know the technical issues that exchange will face some day to come.
Maybe you can choose to stop trading and have your coins in your desktop wallet.. Smiley

Poloniex is a egulated exchange, is not a btc-e. There is probably an issue related to the server you can see updates on their twitter.
