I have had a good experience with both of them, also fast responses to any of my tickets.

However I use Poloniex more, for following reasons:
1. Big volumes: If both exchanges hold same coin, the volume on Polo is several times higher than Bittrex
2. Better charts: Polo charts give better viewing options
3. Trade analysis: I can select any of my previous trades and it gives me profit/loss analysis on that particular coin

I prefer to trade in Bittrex,
because I learned a trade and only have little capital
To be honest, you didnt give us any reason that actually prooves that bittrex is better.
The main topic of the thread is about comparing Poloniex to Bittrex, and I think that we are also trying to discuss which one of this exchanges is better, when your post just simply does not bring anything new into our talk.

You can trade either with small capital on poloniex, there is no really any requirements, you can deposit as many btc as you  want ( even 0.0005 lol ) so that is not a problem.
Poloniex has a really big volume if we compare it to the other exchanges, which is a really big advantage: also, we can do margin trading which is simply great with such a fair rates for every single cryptocurrency that is listen on this website.

Which of these two exchange services do you use and why?
Do you trust one over the other or is it a support or service thing that one is better than the other, have you tried both?
And how many of you use both services just to spread your funds across?

Personally I use both.

Because Poloniex has good rates, lower spreads, hiher volume and better customer support.

But bittrex has a good selection of coins, that poloniex doesn't have. For example, Bittrex still lists Voxels whilst poloniex has delisted Voxels and many more altcoins just a week ago, which is sad to see.

the bittrex has more coins to trade, thus the transaction history will be larger, so that they need certainly more funds from the fee to sustain their datacenter. poloniex knows some of the altcoins are unsustainable so they decided to delist, their transaction volume is far larger than bittrex so far, like litecoin.

It would be Poloniex. The two are the best exchange right now but Poloniex has more traders compared to the other. But I don't know if its just me because I'm having difficulties logging in on poloniex that I need to change the desktop site to mobile site.

actually those two are both good, and I like them both but what I used now most often was Bittrex maybe it is coming by a chance only that I have a lot of coins over that exchanges. Besides, I don't see any problems for a couple of months using it. So meaning, there services to their traders over there was quite and good so far.

Both of exchanges are very good, mostly reputed coins will be listed on both the exchanges. But when compared Bittrex, Poloniex has greater volumes and many people are actively trading coins in the Poloniex.

I prefer Poloniex.  It's very good at listing legit cryptos even if they're ones that get pumped and dumped often.  It also has a much larger trading volume which is better, and I rely on Bittrex a lot less (especially since they're not allowing fiat withdrawals for their Bitcoin/fiat exchange, which makes me think they're having serious trouble and something might go wrong).

Poloniex looks better as well but I can't say that that matters too much to actual trading.  It's just quite pleasant.

Yeah I'd say the biggest difference between the two is that Bittrex is more along the lines of Yobit when it comes to the coins they add, they add the coins that are shitty and submitted by people who simply have them in order to pump them. There's no other reason for a site like this in the least.

Poloniex on the other hand holds coins which actually have a pretty high market cap and daily trading volume such as XEM,XRP,XMR,ETH,ETC, and so on and so forth. These are coins which COULD be used (they're not but they could be) based on the tech that is actually behind them which is pretty nice too.

So, Poloniex all the way

first of all, don't fool yourself. all exchanges add what gives them the most profit. they do not see things that you and i call shit or scam, etc. the only thing they see is how they can make more money from adding such coin. and if they have to choose between 2 they will add the one that gives them the most profit.

secondly, do not even begin to compare bittrex with yobit. bittrex a legit and good service that has been working very well for years without any serious problems and the coins they add are all good and they are what people want.
yobit is a shitty scam place that is run by scammers who will add anything they want even if people never trade them.

I agree all around. The only deviators from the "add whatever gives profit" would be certain ones, like Bitfinex, Coinbase, and the like.

And 100000% dead on with YoBit. They also let you pay to add your coin, so even if you want to run a scam, it only costs a little coin and they'll let you do it. Ridiculous.

I also like Bittrex. I'm feel pretty good using this because one of the best altcoin trading platforms. Why not we like it, they offer good service as an example one of the larger crypto to crypto exchanges, after every currency listing on Bittrex will see a lot of trading volume in the first few weeks and so on.

Poloniex FTW.

I'm using them mainly to lend money to margin traders instead of trading myself. Feel it more save this way.
But they have the biggest volume for traders and the best platform from all.

I use Bittrex only for coins which are not listed at Poloniex.

I don't trust Bittrex because they accept bribes to list coins (like cryptsy and mintpal).

A lot of Bittrex coins ended up worthless and have been delisted.

Poloniex has a better interface and I trust the team behind the website more than Bittrex.

Well, it's not bribes per se.

IT's just a fee to be listed, and I mean it makes sense - the more money you have, technically your coin has more investors and therefore you are proving that your coin is legit, right?

But yes,Polo has a much better interface and it has much more volume. But bittrex deposits and withdrawals are so much faster!

poloniex >Bittrex   in GUI and live update and chat and quality of coins listed there and volume  . That being said i use Bittrex over poloniex because it have the coins i am currently holding . I do think Bittrex come in second place after poloniex.

I use both of them for my trading sessions and from my personal experiences, both of them are good exchanges. I never had a problem with them regarding BTC deposit or withdrawals. But honestly speaking, I prefer Poloniex because it has wide array of choices for altcoins and the volume that they have in each coin is next to none. Their chart is also very useful and very functional.
