I think they only answer to Americans because they can actually take legal action, that's why they imposed the identity verification process. Smart actually, and very low. In my country we say: they'll give all the money for their butt cancer  Grin

.. At least with poloniex there is a chance that you get lucky and get a response from them.

For me, i sent them a request and 2 days later, they responded to it.

How long ago was that? Was it years ago you made that request?

I haven't heard of anyone else getting such a fast response in the last six months.

Nope. It was in January, about 1-2 days before I posted that post.

You're right though, because I have not heard about anyone getting such a fast response from them either, so when I got my awaiting approval withdrawal cleared I was pretty much ecstatic. For others though, it may have to be a 1 month or even multiple month wait for a response from them.

Just because my experience was fast, doesn't mean the rest of the people who use it will have the same experience. The speed of them answering support tickets can vary depend on circumstances that we do not publicly know.

Poloniex is still a crap exchange for now, and after I got my funds out I'm not going to return until they improve their support.

the ticket still in "being processed" status.
was opened 12 days ago.
ridiculous!

It's not just Poloniex, most of global exchange facing the same problem with too many new customers which cause too many tickets submitted everyday.
Sent them some tickets over and over again won't help but makes things worse imo, as the tickets become increasingly bloated.
Nothing that you can do about it but try to contact their support through social media (twitter, facebook, etc) and wait for the answer.

wrong section bud. This belongs in the Exchanges board, not Currency exchange.

But don’t sweat it. All of the major exchanges are being inundated with millions of new user signups from newbies just like yourself asking questions or encountering some sort of issues. While Poloniex has a pretty large support team, it takes time for them to get to your support ticket. Be patient, and they will eventually answer you. I’ve had to deal with their support on several occasions, and the latest took around 5 days.

Just be glad that you’re not having issues on sites with even worse customer support such as YoBit or C-cex. Now THEY have the “whorst support service”!
"Worst support" is not entitled to be on Poloniex and if op did able to try out on using Yobit then for sure he would changed his words related to this. Back in to earlier years Polo support is responsive but due to high demand/registrations/usage they would really experience backlogs which would really cause on the delay but as being said they of have a large support team. They might not answer directly or instantly but rest assured issues would really be resolved.

I don't think they have the right to be 'pissed off' though.. We send them multiple support tickets mainly because we are the ones pissed off with the kind of service and transparency they are showing.
Yeah it's not their "right" but they're also human beings. Don't you not understand that? You irritate a person in real life so much why would they respond to you? And you being pissed off is not going to help here. You send multiple tickets will only clog up their network, your tickets only go down, so the time they may take to answer you will only increase. Think.

ridiculous!

I guess this has become the norm of all the exchanges as majority of them when you query minimum  time they take is 10 days or above. Very few exchanges currently do respond very quickly or in a stipulated time. Users are left in a drum roll where they cannot do until they reply and provide a resolution to the query raised. Just that waiting time kills and now days we think 10 times to raise query or not because they anyways cannot provide solution quickly to it.

It is poloniex that you're contacting here. They were known for being a good exchange with worst support, and now that status goes to worst exchange with worst support. All you can do is wait and wait and wait, until they change their mind and respond to you, don't piss them off by sending multiple support tickets, one of the main problems with users. Hopefully you should get your money back in one month's time.

I submitted KYC to poloniex to increase withdraw limit. After 2 months and opened 2 support tickets, I am still waiting for them to reply and verify my info. This is a joke. I started to think they deliberately slow down their KYC process to keep people from withdrawing!! Still waiting!
this is really ridiculous.
maybe they get hundred thousand of dollars in commission every day and they don't want to improve their support services???
this is ridiculous...
i definitively go away...

Poloniex support is the worst, poloniex is a huge exchange platform in crypto, but you do not need expect to get good service there. Maybe you can file your complaint on their twitter, but then again you do not have to expect a reply from him, because you will be disappointed if you do not get a response there. Hopefully your problem can be solved, goog luck!

i really agree with you...

Hi!
all of us known who poloniex is one of the more performings exchange.
But what about their support services?
maybe the worst...
i have a withdraw in error since days..
but since now, no answer received from support centre.
take a look here.

They are definitely not the worst support. I think that by far obit has the worst support, you will simply never receive a response from them of value. At least with poloniex there is a chance that you get lucky and get a response from them.

For me, i sent them a request and 2 days later, they responded to it.

I wouldn't recommend spamming your ticket as it could potentially even lower your priority. Make sure that your category for your ticket is correct so that they don't have to bounce it around internally. Your title is also full of typos, it's supposed to be "burst withdrawal error" not "nurst whitedraw in error".

I agree though, they are one of the worst at support, and if you do get your withdrawal through, don't use them with large amounts again.

Well they used to be really good a few years ago when i check back in my mail the support responses in like 1 day.
But now I made a ticket and its already taking 5+ days, and somewhere ive read it can take 10 days and now i read here it can take 2-4 months..
That is way to long, well whenever i get my account back what would be the best exhange to trade now a days.

Because it used to always be poloniex but now im not so sure anymore is binance good?
I heard a lot of good stories about that one is it true?

Hope for poloniex and bittrex has been lost now. Poloniex like you said has the worst, worst support. That's why people are switching to binance now. But all I can say is that you have to wait, don't send multiple support tickets, this may anger them and demotivate them not to solve your case also. They'll solve your issue, send a ticket after two months gap, if they don't answer till then. Wish you luck, and hope you get your money back.
