Layer 1 or 2, both seems plagued with problems that are unheard for project like this. If their ecosystem isn't stable and maintains good security, investors will stay away. For me, I prefer none of MATIC or Solana right now till they're fully mature projects similar to ETH 2-3 years ago.

Yea, most people and also beginners prefer eth so solona is still getting attention eventhough there're some stuff happended these few months. However, I belive this is like a personal preference, use the one that you think is easy and suits you the most is always the best choice.

I think the similarity that matic has compared with eth make matic somehow has the advantage, there is definitely a reason why many projects that migrated from eth choosing matic, there's big chance that it's due to the similarity of the ecosystem.
moreover these migrated coins didn't really need some additional features that solana offers, though it's true that both of them are such a good investment in the long term.

I think we should invest on both solana and matic. We don't know exactly that which one will give us huge profit. For me, both coins are potential and these will be increasing gradually. It is not good decision to buy a single coin for getting huge profit.

In todays current events, I believe polygon doing great this year than Solana which currently having an hacked issue again that hackers exploited 5-6 million dollars which is a negative news apparently. While MATIC is having an outstanding updates everyday left and right, partnerships and all that will surely put MATIC contention over Solana this year.

I agree with you that for now Matic is better than Solana, because Solana has been hacked several times.
Basically Solana and Matic are good projects and have strong backers and investors. At first Solana developed faster than Matic, but lately Solana has some network and security problems, So its reputation is starting to weaken.

both were popular in the previous season. but it's the SOL that does make an amazing pump. Several token launch events with the Solana network also got hype. but recently we heard some bad news about the Solana network. it impacts the value of SOL in today's market.
but I believe Matic will gradually become big in the future. the first step as you mentioned has been executed. and then there will be more big news.

It is true that Solana and Polygon have their respective advantages and disadvantages, when compared overall they are not much different actually.
Both are potential coins and worth buying, depending on which one we trust more. If we have a large enough capital there is no harm in investing

MATIC's never been a victim of network outages (as far as I know), yet it's a lot cheaper than Solana itself. The latter may have better performance, but it's heavily centralized.
