Can we point 2% of the pool at this, when it goes live: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/acga-cryptographic-anomaly-the-elusive-coina-437950

Just for the fun of it ... Wink

And when we get a coin we should all keep it rather than paying out ...

Just started mining at wafflepool after middlecoin went down, so far it is looking good with my hashsrate and ping even though I am in the EU and the server is in the US.

I know I should have done this before, because middlecoin fees are way too high and they really need some competition but I was lazy lol.

Good to see you here. Wafflepool listens to us too.

Bringing up MEOW again because its profitability seems to be holding up. I think its worth adding even with manual trading. Just penalize its profitability in the switcher by 20% or something to offset the trading risk and we'll still end up mining it sometimes.  The difficulty is low too so we'll get regular blocks, unlike DOGE.

I got a nice payout as well. Good job.

As did I. Just about .001 shy of my mid payout.  Very close.  Today is looking a bit rough in comparison, but seeing the same pattern at mid. Seems very closely matched so far. But as zneww rightly points out, the pool communication isn't even in the same ballpark.

Are you adjusting your profit calculation for some estimate of orphan rate (observed or calculated) that differs across coins? Some of these coins are very prone to that just on the basis of fast block rates so the direct calculation of how hard it is to solve a block based on the difficulty target will overestimate true earnings.

Yep, so far the only two we've had a big problem with were Fastcoin (blocks way too quick, tons of orphans), and Tagcoin (forking problems, new code goes into effect on the 2nd).  Both of those are just hard-disabled from our side for now, and we'll experiment with adding them back in over time.

It would be nice to have an endpoint in the EU. Currently, my ping is above 100.

Hopefully done by tomorrow night.  Worst case, sometime next week Smiley

100ms is nothing... Then you havnt tried middlecoin, you loose connection when switching what coins are mined.

Im gonna stick to waffle for now.

hi snackbar lol, I personally am mining at Wafflepool for the simple fact that I have seen someone actually respond to questions. I only run 1.1Mh/s but I will return with my 24 hr report.

Wow, same hashrate as me !!  1.1mhs  but thats only when im not using the computer >_<

Luckily I have a laptop and tablet. I turn off my 280x when I play BF4 and keep my 7870 on. So thats like 400Kh/s

Well i rather use a computer, much faster and easier, at least for me.  Does BF4 requires the 280?  I stop my 7870 from mining when i use the computer, and let the 7970 mine all the time.

I just like 125FPS steady Wink I haven't tried the 7870 on BF4....hmmmmmmmmm..i honestly never thought of that lmao

I just received a payout of .056 today from yesterday's mining. I mine with 3mhs. This is the highest I've ever received and I typically average .04 on a day to day basis. So far this site has beat out multipool for me every day. Needless to say I'm very happy with this pool so far.

----edit----

Wanted to add that when mining on multiple my rejected sat at 4% and at wafflepool I sit at 1%.

On that note, as a quick update for you guys, I'm actively in the process of syncing up a few more endpoints for stratum servers.  Ideally sometime this weekend we'll have them up and running.  Plan is to have a US East, US West, and EU (Netherlands) endpoint available.  No geo-loadbalancing to being with (you'll have to manually set your preferred endpoint), but should drop latency a bit, and add a few failover pool locations in case we have to do rolling maintenance in the future.

It would be nice to have an endpoint in the EU. Currently, my ping is above 100.

Quick update.
Looks like Cryptsy is re-downloading the dogecoin blockchain, and our account is locked for withdrawals until that is done. Soon as its unlocked (shouldn't be more than an hour or two I would guess), we'll have the payout go through.
Sorry for the delay today. Status updates from cryptsy are here: https://twitter.com/cryptsy

Nothing you can do about it really.
