To be honest, it is really funny to know that Pornhub is also started to adopt cryptocurrency and support it as payments. I think that cryptocurrency is really gaining it's popularity since a lot of social media platforms have interest to used it like Facebook. I think its a great thing for Pornhub to take this step, It will definitely increase the premium users for the site as it is easier for any countrymen to access premium contents without having issue of credit card scams or skimming. Also it will be easier to buy USDT as most of the exchanges will have it. More websites should start this by understanding the value of crypto.
I am seeing this trend where entities are accepting crypto but favoring stable coins over Bitcoin or ethereum. The volatility is a big issue when it comes to business. They can't stake their revenue on a highly volatile currency which can lose or gain 50% in a week. Not really viable. Or they can choose to convert them in Fiat immediately that again would need more hassle.
Though I am glad that pornhub went on with accepting cryptocurrency but that won't push adoption.

Very nice! It's small things like that, that increase adoption and bring every day folks to the crypto sphere. Hopefully they will start adding other coins too cause thether is a meh option. But I guess the average joe will feel more comfortable with it! And I bet some won't resist the temptation and turn some into btc or other alts.

I really agree if Pornhub uses tether (stable coin) as a means of payment in the Pronhub. This would be a more enjoyable thing, because using the stable coin is structurally the crypto we can more freely when compared to PayPal. And it will automatically lift the performance of TRON too. if they are already aware with usdt , they already used a crypto but i dont think that most pornhub users are crypto related because pornhub wasnt a new site and its a general site with no relation to crypto whatsoever . sites like this usually use comon payment methods (not crypto ) but if the crypto grows more , the chance of crypto being used on many online sites is also higher . but why usdt ? why not btc or eth ? arent these cryptos already accepted before usdt ?

When Verge announced that they have been partnered with Pornhub, the coin pumped and then dumped immediately after the announcement has been broadcast online. I still remember this event because this is also the time that I lost half of my funds in trading because I got FOMO'ed with it. STUPID VERGE COIN.

It does not increase the social trust in cryptocurrencies as you think. The reason for the new means of payment in USDT is because they were punished by Paypal and they could not find a better credit company than Tron wallet.
