You must go to the JR level to display the picture properly, otherwise only the link will be displayed.
I didn't know this question at first.

When I preview it or post it, it only shows me the imgur link like this https://i.imgur.com/something.png, without showing me the image. I copy- pasted from other examples I looked at by pressing QUOTE. I can't find out what I'm doing wrong.

As stated above by another user you need to be at least member to post images. Also any other member can quote your post and everyone can see your post.

Hello! I am a little confused, since I was also trying to post pictures (it didn't work because of my newbie status) but I thought you need to be at least 'only' JR. MEMBER...Now you say at least MEMBER, which is the next rank, right? Could you clarify that for me? Thanks

Ah ok thanks so much, was already suspecting it was a restriction but didnt find anything about it. What can I do to change my status from newbie?

Ranks is determined by activity point. To rank up to Jr. Member you need at least 30 activity point. To make it simple, you have to be active and make posts every day for 1.5 months.

Also please read all links that I have posted above. Those threads will help you getting started on this forum.

You probably have done it right, but there is a restriction on a newbie. Newbies can't post an image. You have to be a Junior Member (activity points >30) at the minimum to embed an image in a post. Please read these thread first before partipating further in this forum:
