Right this thread is created with intention of helping the newbies as well as other members also who don't have the knowledge or idea to use all the features like how to add images, hyperlinks and create tables on the post but by having idea about them through this thread they can learn it easily.This post you are referring to is really helpful and have all the features details and have been mentioned by BITCOIN4X in above his post :



We as memeber have also learnt all these things and how to use forum in best possible way and now we can help users with the same but if someone is not interested in learning and enhancing his knowledge then nothing can be done.We as combined bitcoin community needs to provide best information to the members and learn from them.

Will try to add more updates on this thread once i get some time for it and will do is shortly.

Although I didn't know this thread before but I know this thread aims to help anyone both beginners and high ranking members as a learning endeavor. In addition, this forum also has a help feature in the menu, which in my opinion is quite detailed and complete. I learned a lot from there, maybe some people here need to visit it too.

Someone who has an interest in learning will certainly find out what he needs to know and learn. But maybe many people are too comfortable with the habit from the start with the same style and quality.

This is the case with some high rank members also who don't even care to have a look at these threads which can help them.They are continuing with their same posting style with no knowledge and zero earned merits to complete their campaign requirements only but it is not helping them at all.

We should increase our knowledge from learning and sharing or in simple words say exchange of knowledge with others because we are on forum for learning purpose.This thread was created with same intention of helping them.

+1 merit for the efforts you have put in and implementing some of the things mentioned in @op but try to use colour which are visible as yellow you have put in is fading away in light so use decent one's just a advice.

Right this thread was made with the same intention like of other members who want to help newbies and Bitcoin talk community as a whole with knowledge we have and learn from others.This is main thing on which we all should concentrate and it will eventually serve all the purposes because knowledge is key to success.

This thread is educational thread, and mostly all thread created by bitcointalk member are meant to be emulate by the beginner because the learning is the only way forward of any beginner that wants to acquire knowledge in all ramifications of bitcoin and other sub Bitcoin like alternative coin's, so studying the methodology of bitcoin in the forum is determine by observation and consciousness, Smartness and the ability to accept and indicates corrections.

I agree with what you said, I've seen a quote that says "knowledge and abilities don't come from a lazy body" and it's true that it's proven that abilities don't develop when someone doesn't have the desire to look ahead and doesn't want to develop their abilities. .
when we really don't know, at least we have to look for information about the things we want to know in order to know more.
because indeed knowledge will not come by itself and need sacrifices for it.

On several occasions, I quite often find users don't know how to move topic, edit image size, post with code and so on. We can have a unique character with our posting style and the way we convey things, and this can only be achieved by learning and working.

I'm sure all users can do it as long as they are willing to learn and are never afraid to try. Threads like this will help them understand it, but won't be much help if they don't want to.

This forum is great source of learning for all those who wants to but if our motives are different as you might know what i intended to say then your Knowledge scope will always be limited and you would not rank up on forum or contribute effective to the forum.So the best part is to exchange knowledge and grow on forum.This is best bitcoin related forum where you can get accurate and in depth knowledge about anything you wish to do.

This thread only highlights few posting techniques that could help members to present the information in much better way using all the necessary tools for the same.But the content you are going to share must be of good quality to comprehend with these techniques that can help others also.Grow,learn and evolve yourself that's the best thing we can do.

Yes, it must be done. A person who discusses must know from the beginning to the end. Therefore, in this forum your literacy is trained to be diligent in your use. That is your main capital to grow. It takes patience, discipline and tireless feeling to survive in this forum. Learn gradually because everything requires a process. Regarding the people above, you seem to be growing quite fast, you already have a decent appreciation for the number of activities and posts that you have done. So keep up the good work for this forum.

See you just need another 16 activity which will be given to you in next two activity distribution period if you remain active till that time as one activity distribution period will provide you with another 14 activity and remaining two will be given in next round and then you will be junior rank member on the forum.So say after a month you will be junior member and then you can post images as well.

You can learn whatever you want and grow on the forum but have patience and always evolve yourself with time and knowledge.I knew this thread might have gone few pages back because daily lot of threads are made piled upon one another so it usually goes on next pages.But still see you find it and this helped you.

This is certainly very helpful for people who are still not used to it and it is really difficult like I feel. and yes maybe just a suggestion so there's more about the others because I'm also now thinking about how to send pictures correctly

The actual aim of this thread is to help members and some newbies who are not at all familiar with the forum with the posting styles like you have come to know about how to insert hyper links easily not to gain merits.So I am happy with the fact that you checked this thread because i have not bumped it from many days and it might have slipped to second or third page but still you search for it and eventually it helped you.

You should also thank the forum which has previously helped many users who don't know how to post only if you are curious enough about the help feature. I learned a lot there from the start and know some of the features I'd like to implement in the post. This thread exists because most newbie don't really care about the help the forum provide, IMO.

If you want to know more, use the preview button to see what each feature does at the top of the worksheet. When you are familiar enough, it will be easier for you to post with improvisation and an interesting posting style.

To be honest, the forum reply method is relatively old, thanks to the author’s meticulous explanation, many things I haven’t used before, because now there are many shortcuts that are more interesting and still have a lot of freshness. After reading this post, it seems that there is no format barrier for posting, thank you again.

good information, either for newbies or old users a little rusty texting in a forum

Will surely try to add on the links for the same where members can learn some tips to write and read posts in English and make better use of it.They can have a better understanding of the post with it even though i have embraced use of tools with the help of pointers but still i would try to add English lessons link to the @OP post.

This should be read by newbies after they learn how to write in English to make their posting habit well made. It would be useless if you don't know how to write English even if you know the posting techniques on the forum. I would suggest of to add a link of the thread whete forum users can open and learn English language then learn this posting technique to contribute in this forum a lot better than before.

The only challenges i see from different angles of people most especially newbies is that they find it very difficult to accept or acknowledge their mistakes, you got it right shall, because anyone or beginner that embrace correction and monitor at least five or four (5-4) bitcointalk community user's method of conversations or post and emulate it, definitely it will be at positive side of progressive user, only thing that's here to learn is to follow already existing user one on one, and learning can be achieved very fast through observation and attention.

We need to evolve ourselves and learn from others and our past mistakes and try to overcome them.If we have learned something useful on the forum we need to guide the newbies so that they don't repeat the same mistake and it comes handy for them.I was seeing many newbies not making appropriate use of tools and quote options and then decided to make thread for their information so it can help them.Hope they see it and try to implement it.

You know beginner's find it very difficult to understand the way people post here whereas every necessary tools use to make up those write up are there via the functional key bottons, so op just break it down to easy understanding of newbies even using an arrow mark to indicate each function of the key, because remember when i was a newbie i only learn through someone's post by quoting the post to review how the work goes, so with that process i began to understand fully the concept of the tools uses to make a post.

Yeah,the way newbies go about posting is a challenge I agree with you.And one thing that will help is first of all reading other people's posts,having an in-depth knowledge about the topic before making any contribution.

Challenges can be overcomed if you are willing to work for them and for posting you only need to learn or have a look at it and then apply the same in your posting style and then you are good to go. I hope to see some good posts over the forum and want to help members learn how to make appropriate use of tools.But keep in mind these are only techniques and tools but you must have good information or content to share which is useful for members combined with these tools which is most important.

Yes it will work fine although but you can simply copy the BBcode and paste it and by clicking the image you can go to the image uploading site and have a look at there.But yes you can add image without url tags directly also.But it's easy for newbies to simply paste the link.

Perhaps OP could further clarify the URL tag is to make the image clickable.

Regarding that image posting part, you can omit the 'url' tags, it will work fine.

I remember you have a topic or post (?) in German about websites to upload images. I forgot to bookmark that one so would you mind sharing it again, please.

It is helpful for the topic as well and sometimes people would like to have multiple choices or need alternative when their favorite does not work. Obviously, imgur seems to be the best to use on the forum.

There are many of these tools are not actually always being use but it is alright as long as one know these tools and how to use it.

I have some clarification on this one. When you want to post images, the link you use must end in an image format like .jpg, .png or . gif for the image to show. If you want to post gif there is a file size required, I think non-gif is also 2.5mb. According to this post I quoted from this  thread, the required max file size is 2.5mb.You can post whatever gif you can post as long as the file is 2.5mb or else the result will be "bitcointalk proxy. Invalid image" . For more information, open the thread. It's copper membership and not cooper membership.


Quoting images posted by newbies who are using this code will surely show the images either jpg png or gif.

I never got why you would have to achieve a certain rank before posting pictures, makes not much sense to me. First, kudos for the effort. This post should be seen by senior forum members too, as many don't really care much about the way the post, especially when it comes to quoting.

I would just like to add that it's not needed to adjust both width and height when resizing images. One is enough and the other value will adjust automatically to preserve iamge ratio. From time to time I see people changing both  width and height and that way distorting the image if ratio is not correct.

I'm not sure if anyone has already done something similar (I think it probably is), but apart from the fact that every member of the forum should turn on the brain when writing their posts, it would certainly be desirable to use all available forum features to make it easier and more enjoyable for everyone to follow the forum.

What I would especially like to emphasize is the inappropriate use of the quote option - because it makes no sense to quote more posts, and the answer refers only to a part of one post. Every quoted post can be edited, and that’s just a few seconds of work. I also have to admit that I find it really weird to see some older members who haven’t yet learned to resize images, which just shows that they don’t care for those who access the forum from slow internet connections or have limited data traffic.

Sometimes the newbie asking for help with a technical issue with less information on the technical and wallet, which makes the information provided biased and incomprehensible. you have to add also the format of how to post with accurate information like this

Step 2: Select the image you want to post and upload it

Step 3: Your image will be uploaded
