The massive BTC investments are probably the dev...by simply taking his own BTC and sending it to HIS OWN "presale" BTC addresses - VOILA - he now owns 10%, 20%, 30%, 40%, of the overall presale viacoins by simply exchanging BTC between 2 OF HIS OWN ADDRESSES.

This presale format MASQUERADES as "fair and open", but it's the dev (and his cronies?) who are in a position to really game the system and do some illegal/unethical things.

The more I think about it, the more pissed I get - this is NOTHING MORE THAN A PREMINE with a different name/scheme...btcdrak could have easily boughten more than 50% of the presale viacoins with ZERO RISK whatsoever!

Also, in the entire next 12 months, there will only be about 6.5M viacoins mined anyways, so if the dev "bought" (i.e. sent BTC from his left hand to his right hand) 50% of the presale viacoins, he essentially "premined" 30% of viacoin on a 1 year time frame!

no wonder why btcdrak acted so rude and guilty in the IRC chats - he's probably too busy sending BTC to his presale and felt guilty about it!

do you all see my point!?

That wasn't the dev.  He just made over 600 BTC in ICO funds. He's a pretty trusted guy in crypto trading circles, I just don't see him doing this kind of stuff. If you weren't expecting massive buys at the last possible minute you must be new here.  Those huge buys were probably cryptocobain  Grin.

check the blockchain, https://blockchain.info/address/1BoAzeau3NHzRd1Mq9BXebyG1cJ1FEbeKk

the guy who invest 75btc has 2756BTC!

he is a big player and holder for sure.
if you check the public note signed in the blockchain:

you will find more info, such as

That guy donate 27.2447 BTC for peace: Public Note: I'm a guy from Ukraine. In Ukraine the Civil War and the Nazis kill innocent people. I have three small children and I fear for their lives. I want to get away from the war, but I did’t have enough money. Help me please. Send me some BTC. Save our souls.

Public Note: 3 BU condition 1 BTC Casascius 2011 error coins as agreed by PM.

Public Note: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.7648595

So before releasing any Viacoins to presale participants I want to make it clear that

everyone bought at the same rate, which was 0.00006102 VIA/BTC.

The only thing that varies is the amount of VIA you will receive according to how much BTC you paid.

The final table has been UPDATED and posted here: http://presale.viacoin.org/list.html

Payments received AFTER 14:45 today are not included and you must file a refund request immediately. Effectively if you made a payment that was not included in BTC Block #311014 or earlier, then the payment does not qualify.

I can only see an honest and hard working dev here... Go BTCDRAK..

Why are you sure, that she is a guy?

if you find the blockchain carefully, you may find more useful info. Smiley

The 75BTC investor is not the dev, but rather a very active member of the community. He is in for the long run.

The 75 btc buyer was not the developer.  I know this for certain.

I mean there are ways to figure this stuff out.  I understand your anxiety, but there is no reason for it, I can assure you.

do you have any evidence of this?  even lame, bad evidence?

huh?

The more I think about it, the more pissed I get - this is NOTHING MORE THAN A PREMINE with a different name/scheme...btcdrak could have easily boughten more than 50% of the presale viacoins with ZERO RISK whatsoever!

then why don't you just go away?

again, this is you just making up crap.

this is some good trolling!

do you all see my point!?

We will all just have to wait and see how the coin develops. You never make anything substantial in life without taking a risk and to me this seems like less risk than 99% of other new coins.

Well done on your pre-sale BTCdrak!

Fwiw, I know the person behind the 75BTC transaction.  I can assure you two things about him:

a.) He's a long term holder and to date I've never seen him make an investment for a quick exit.

b.) He's a great guy who often takes an active role in working with core devs to further the coins he's involved with and a great addition to the community.

I'm actually very happy he's on board, regardless of how it may affect price or distribution.

If true this is great news for everyone
If you are close enough, any chance to get him to take a screen cap of the address of the bitcoin wallet he sent to the ipo from? Would bring big faith to the coin.

New Coins always looking very promissing and moving the World forward...

That´s why i do not invest and prefer to shake weak hands  Grin

lol Im hoping I can do both, theres always going to be weak hands between release dates.
Weak hands made me some nice money in darkcoin. This coin looks just as promising, contender for top 3 if dev(and team) delivers.

Whales buying at the Ground only, if they like to make Profit.
It´ll be not Funny but Bloody Games for 95% of IPO´s lol

no, but maybe he'll be happy with a quick flip.

let's hope not.  let's hope he's a smart investor who sees VIA as a real investment.
