Kambio Ventures is the evolution an investment group that operates in the space since 1995, having multiple multi-million dollars exists to its name.
Kambio seeks to disrupt the world of venture capital (VC) funding by issuing regulated security tokens for startups.
We are building a fully regulated marketplace for tokenised asset-backed securities: a capital markets platform delivering primary capital funding and secondary exchange liquidity for investors, entrepreneurs and institutions; a unique funding platform delivering exclusive co-investment opportunities, with end-to-end institutional-led curation; and a dedicated community ecosystem – built on active participation, knowledge-sharing and investment empowerment.
Kambio Ventures will make the whole startup investment journey simple, secure and instant. Some industry insiders have already commented that our offering, if successful, will be akin to finding the 'Holy Grail' for security tokens – we see it as disruption of the venture capital and capital markets industries, or as we prefer to call it "Venture Capital Markets".
It will bring liquidity to the classically sluggish procedure until successful exits occur. No more 7-10 years waiting time for investors. No more hostage interference by shark VC’s.
We are tearing down this dichotomy and rebuilding it from scratch - with blockchain.
And who are we, you ask?
Kambio Venture’s core management team has over 75 years of venture capital, asset management and technology combined experience. Two partners have been working closely together since 1995 and jointly founded, incubated and invested in dozens of start-ups with over $1 billion of exits, notably: Maktoob.com sold to Yahoo Inc. and most recently Souq.com and Payfort sold to Amazon Inc.
The third partner has a deep finance background with a wide range of management and execution experience, including: end-to-end management for a multi-billion revenue franchise within a tier-1 global bank; growing an asset management division six-fold over three years; and building a London-based global macro hedge fund firm.
Together, the management team has an exceptional track record in monetising cutting-edge technology by building sustainable customer-centric businesses around it.
