very difficult to predict the price of bitcoin 2020. bitcoin after halving prices will certainly rise high. but see in 2016 there was no significant increase. maybe the price will be above 1300 USD in 2020.

I predict that it will be 1050$. It might be low, but always predict lower so you are always satisfied. That's my philosophy Cool.

this is one of those topics that you should make sure that you BookMark it for the future to come back and refer to it to the people in 2020 and see who was right and who was just full of it.

so my prediction is $3000

$5000 per bitcoin!
 Grin

I think that's too big for the price to fly that high... I am conservative so I think the price would be around $1,000 - $2,000... But who knows, bitcoins price is so unpredictable, it could run very high...  Smiley

2020 is 4 years from now. The price of the bitcoin will double every year, so it will be around $10,000.

That's too conservative, it will be around $50,000. It didn't take four years to go from $2 to $1200, and it more than doubled every year. Four years is more than enough time for it to go to $50,000 after the bear market.

I do not know or believe against all the things that have not happened, I prefer to enjoy the advantage that I can get over having to predict something where it's violating in my religion. If indeed the year price bitcoin became higher then I am grateful

I'm not guaranteeing it will be $50,000 in four years, but I think it's probable. Who believed Bitcoin would go to $1200 when it was only $2 and its all time high was only $30? I think we are due another bull market like the last that exceeds expectations.

A lot can happen to bitcoin affect price in either direction and most likely will between now and next halving. So in my highly expert amateur opinion, the price will be somewhere in the $3000 - $4000 range with the general price trend going upwards even beyond the halving.

it would be nice to hear from you what exactly will cause the price to go up to these (at this point) insanely high price levels. all the money to get the price to go up, has to come from somewhere. and that will either be from rich individuals, or a certain number of institutional investors taking a position into bitcoin. without one of these two options, it's impossible.

The price is going to keep growing but nobody knows when things are going to skyrocket. Im predicting that we will soon start going towards the unavoidable new ATH when we have segwit functioning. Beyond that, sky's the limit.
For now we are still growing but not so fast we are just growing gradually more people are investing and more people discover this currency online..
So this year until 2020 we will see that the price will increase more. since we are seen the price before until now they are different but for those newbie they didnt experience 1k value of bitcoin.. if i am lucky  that i know bitcoins before when the price is below hundress or even just tens.. i think i will buy lots of bitcoin and hold it for a long time.

I dont think the price of the bitcoin will drop that low if there is coming a halving soon becuase i dont think there are many factors that can drop the price if the halving is there.
