Just seen this tweet from twitter today and it couldn't be more exciting to watch on how it will play. Will it mark to the -80%+ or -90%+ just like in the past or that -77% is enough to stack for the next bull run?

The "Bitcoin is dead" narrative will always show up at times like this and as always once most are fearful in the market, that's the time to buy.

Look at the chart, we can see the decrease in each cycle is getting lower and lower than the previous one and from the chart, I think we are very close to the bottom in this bear season. But one more thing can be seen is that the market is getting bigger and the volatility is also decreasing, once bitcoin is bigger and more mature, there may not be so much volatility left for us to have a good chance of making a profit.

Maybe bitcoin will fall further as we are in a volatile economy unlike previous years but at this price, this is too cheap for us to buy. Take advantage instead of waiting for it to decrease further because no one knows if it will continue to decrease or will increase from here.

Yeah it's definitely a good time to buy more or even start trading now for new investors. But I don't see many people buying it now they prefer to wait till we get to the bull period and buy. Only real enthusiast will make use the opportunity.

What are your predictions for this Bear market bottom'st bottom for Bitcoin?
For the bearish period I just think this is the support (15k) and It will be hard to go down again but we can't be sure the FTX saga is just having its toe on it and more stereotypes are continue to spread by the critics so I will say a longer bearish period but I don't see it getting down below 15k

Predictions are getting more exciting now, I see Bitcoin to hit $13k mark and that could be the worst one or maybe the start of the worst. There’s a lot of FUD and negative news all over the cryptomarket, that maybe one of the reason why the market is down today and it will continue to go down. While many are panicking, I suggest that you take advantage of this, accumulate more now while its cheap and gets more when it gets cheaper.

10k$ is a fair price for this year's bear season and I am waiting for that too, it will happen soon, there will be another more devastating story for the market to plummet again. Keep waiting, I still won't buy at current price, still too high for me.

You could be right, but if so I think you’d probably have to wait until the mtgox coins and the us gov coins hit the market. That could be nearly a year. If you have the patience maybe you could get lucky. There’s also a chance we’re seeing the worst of it now and when the massive groups of coins hit the market they’re swept up by large investment companies. That’s why I think dollar cost averaging in throughout this entire bear market is the way to go.

Surprisingly enough, I'm seeing a lot of "crypto is dead" but not necessarily "Bitcoin is dead"; quite a significant difference imo. People scoff at BTC because it's "boring", but sometimes simplicity is a great thing. Yes, all bitcoin can do is to move numbers around(overly simplified, obviously), but it does that one thing very well.

This was almost exactly the discussion happening on Friday off with some of my online colleagues. The old narrative supposedly was "Bitcoin, not crypto", then around 2017 ATH with Ethereum's attempt at the flippening it was "blockchain, not bitcoin".

How things have swung around. The world's 3 richest tech billionaires in the same week showed why the crypto ideals they support and advocate have never been sound, while Bitcoin plods along, doing what it's supposed to do, overdelivering.

The market seems to be in turmoil and the whole narrative of "Bitcoin is dead" thing is taking place. For me, this is probably one of the best signs to buy. The thing is, I do think that this support is most likely to not hold and we risk seeing a further drop to around 10K which is what I think is a great entry point.

What are your predictions for this Bear market bottom'st bottom for Bitcoin?
I still don't even believe in the narrative that says "Bitcoin is dead" because for me Bitcoin is still alive and can still survive in the long term. Decline in price is not the end of Bitcoin because the potential for improvement is still there and on the other hand Bitcoin is also still being liked and traded by many people at this time.

You also said that a good point to enter would be at 10K and that implies that you yourself still really like Bitcoin and don't think it's going to die. Because if you believe in that narrative and believe that Bitcoin is dead, surely you will no longer want to be in the crypto space and also here and will not set an entry point to buy Bitcoin again.

Yep, I agree that the "Bitcoin is dead" narrative will always show up, not just in times like these but also in times of crisis and regulatory FUD. But take the narrative and pair it with the Bitcoin fear index on its low and you have the perfect buying signal. IMHO

Bitcoin could drop to around $10k if more negative news is spread by people who don't want to see bitcoin grow any better. And it looks like the FTX case managed to shake the crypto market and fall even deeper. But we can still hope that the price doesn't really go down to $10k but if it does, it means we get a big discount so we can buy bitcoins at that price. But I don't think many of them will buy bitcoin at $10k because the rest will think the price will go down again. And if they don't start buying it, they'll regret knowing that the price is starting to rise again.

People are not taking Bitcoins seriously and are underestimating it. I mean have they forgotten the marketcap of Bitcoins? They should really be happy seeing a 70k usd valued coin available to purchase at 16k usd. Instead of complaining, they should have bought as many coins as they can in this cheap, affordable price. Moreover if we greed for more and wait for more low price, then there is a chance that we might miss the best price which is right now. Consider yourself lucky, if you are able to buy Bitcoins below 20k usd.

What happens if Bitcoin will not drop to $10k? Make an entry at $20k? I used a part of my saving and I bought already. I will add again if it drops to $12k however I am afraid it won't reach this low.

Why are we surprise to keep hearing Bitcoin is dead? Bitcoin is young, we are in an early stage and new investors are coming. Majority of the people do not have Bitcoin, they prolly do not even heard of it or they do not understand how it works. Many new investors didn't expect to lose 10 percent of the value of their investments in only a few days.

I will wait to see how the market will react and if more companies will collapse or if an iceberg has emerged.
The bottom, if not achieved, will not be far, and from it, buying now is appropriate, and waiting is a foregone conclusion.

If you believe in bitcoin for the long term, if you want a decentralised means of payment and store of value, these are good prices to buy at, there is no need to guess at an exact figure.

I think this cycle is proving to be the worst ever in percentage terms. The peak of the cycle was disappointing in this sense and at the moment, what was said about bitcoin not having fallen below the peak of the previous cycle more than momentarily, as happened in March 2020, has also been broken.

This cycle was initially known as the institutional adoption cycle but I would call it the 'leverage disaster' cycle, both because of the cascading downward liquidations that have occurred and the bankruptcy of the exchanges for playing with leverage instead of being quietly guarding deposits and collecting commissions.

I don't think that bitcoin will go as low as $10k though, perhaps the bottom has been reach at $15k.

But yeah, in any case that it will go down to $10k then that is the biggest opportunity once again, probably we will be back 2019-2020 prices, right after the pandemic scare wherein the price goes down to $3k and then bounce back to $6k and then eventual bull run.

I'm not saying that we will be in a bull run right now, still very far, but the chance is here once again, even at the current price of $16,700, this is still a great entry point, in my opinion.

If you think 10k is a good point for entry then just wait but I hope don't regret if bitcoin doesn't reach that support it might go back to 20k of course we don't know.
Opportunity is a golden right that you have to take if you consider the current situation that is happening maybe it can be said as a conspiracy or exchange drama that becomes a polemic of problems until the market goes down then it must be reconsidered, if only to see this is an opportunity then it's a good point also but in reality you will invest for the long term too and it is impossible to sell when the price has reached $20k of course you want more than that.
