There are some good clubs who has done good and some mediocre clubs who have been inconsistent. When you see a team at 10th, you expect them to have a bad result against anyone else in the top 10, specially at the top three position, and they should beat everyone below them as well.

But, the difference this year is that, teams like Chelsea could draw against teams like City and then go draw against some relegation zone team too. That was the new part and seems like it is still going strong, fans were not ready for this inconsistency overall.

I'm not sure whether Chelsea can beat Liverpool because although there is no guarantee that Liverpool will win, in terms of performance, Chelsea is below Liverpool, while Klopp's club is eyeing titles in several competitions to be able to give the best prize before Klopp leaves his club.

If they are not consistently enough they will not be able to get ahead. In this season Manchester United has not been able to perform very well.
