Like avoiding such rumours  Because despite Mbappe being offered so much money, he is only thinking of leaving PSG with the hope of winning the Champions League trophy and the Ballon d'Or, why would he sign for that money with a team like Liverpool who have not already qualified for the Champions League? The biggest and most likely of all the rumors is Mbappé's move to Real Madrid. If Mbappe does decide to switch clubs, he is most likely to join Real Madrid. And this possibility may be true. Also I don't think Mbappe can join Liverpool.
Winning big titles like Champions League and domestic titles at leagues which are bigger than Ligue 1 are Mbappe's targets. Especially Champions League which is a most wanted title with Mbappe and he knows that winning Champions League is a big achievement for his career even he already won World Cup 2018 with France. Additionally, winning Champions League will open a very big chance for Mbappe to win Ballon d'Or which he has never won in his career.

Though titles are important for Mbappe's consideration, we can not exclude that he also want to receive good salary. He deserves that and he will not join a club that pay him like $1M or $4M each season even he can win Champions League with them. Titles with a team, personal awards and high salary are all factors for Mbappe consideration about his next destination.

If talking about chance to win Champions League, Liverpool have less chance than Real Madrid.

there are some Rumours in football i do not give attention, i will just view the headlines and pass. Liverpool bidding for Mbappe is not out of place, because every clubs need him in their team. but the possibility for mbappe to leave psg to Liverpool that is not playing champions league is very slim. Mbbappe can only leave Psg to Manchester united and Real madrid and not to any club that's not in champions league.

Arsenal are also interested in Mbappe, since Mbappe has not sign a new contract for Psg, every clubs are observing the situation kindly. one thing issure, mbappe will not be playing in psg next season if he do not extend his contract. by next year he will be free agent and they will lose more. Pgs has to be rational about the situation.

Have you heard of the news about Liverpool's possible offer for Mbappe in the near future? It is said that Liverpool will offer 300 million euros for him. I think PSG would be really willing to sell him in case there is an offer like that. Because even though PSG have to pay a lot of money to Mbappe in case of selling him early they will still be in a serious profit.

It is much better than letting him go without a transfer fee surely. In this case I assume that Liverpool wouldn't be the only team to make the same offer. Real Madrid have been monitoring his situation for a long time. I would expect them to meet the demands of PSG and Mbappe both undoubtedly.

In this case I don't think Liverpool's chance would be higher to sign him.

If this is true, I don't believe PSG will have any further comments to make because this offer is very generous, exactly what PSG wants, and mbappe will be happy to accept such an offer. However, I do believe there will be some issues because PSG and mbappe have agreed to stay for another year. However, I believe where a significant sum of money is involved, everything will settle down, so it will be good to see mbappe in another team very soon.
Real Madrid will be quite disappointed by this because they were the first to express interest in Mbappé in recent years, and Liverpool came up to seize the opportunity from them by spending a lot of money. I believe this will set up a rivalry between real Madrid and Liverpool.

Why did Chelsea sell Kovacic to their rival?

The EPL is just a league where clubs do the unthinkable as the case of Chelsea selling Kovacic to City they're not even showing how it will affect them (like delaying the process to think about it) in the future and I can't say I know the reason why Chelsea sold one of their consistent midfielder to one of their threat in the EPL.
What about Havartz who was sold to Arsenal, this transfer window is still in a blur state where we can't see what happens next. I don't even see any replacement coming in the squad after Kovacic left and they're still acting comfortable, I hope it won't back fire, Chelsea are just selling anything they get their hands on.
When a club shows interest on a particular player and it becomes obviously clear that such player also wants to move to that club, it is best to allow the player leave.
If Chelsea decides not to let Kovacic leave the club now that he's very interested in going to Manchester City, the player would be very unhappy with the decision and would not passionately play for Chelsea again. So I think the club management was right to let him leave

Why did Chelsea sell Kovacic to their rival?
after Chelsea got a new coach there were a lot of irregularities in my mind because how could a Pochettino let go of the best player Chelsea has ever had while Kovacic's performance was not too disappointing in the previous season and what really made me unable to think was selling to a rival team, this like suicide. because of course Kovacic knows whatever strategy Chelsea has used so that Man City's chances of competing with Chelsea are bigger because City after getting Kovacic has become even stronger.
on the one hand if we think this is one of the strategies that Pochettino will use to sell old players and add new players, this is not the right way because it will definitely take a lot of time for new players to adapt to the surrounding environment and with other players.

I don't know if Chelsea in the summer will be better or even worse but I have a little doubt about Chelsea at the moment.

The previous Premier League discussion thread is also still active, and @Trofo just hasn't changed the title to the 2023/24 season because the league hasn't started yet. Now it has been updated

Won't this be a clash of two different threads because I'm both discussing the Premier League?
I was about to mention that too because the other premiere league thread is acting e and discussion is going on there, this thread and the old one will clash since the title of the old premiere leagues discussion thread has been changed to the current season of 2023-2024.

Why did Chelsea sell Kovacic to their rival?

I was also surprised with this news honestly. Let's say Kovacic didn't have much playing time there then it would have made sense. However there was no such situation either. He has been a regular in Chelsea starting lineup for years. I would have said that it was maybe due to his performance. But it was a horrible season for Chelsea so everyone was inadequate in performance.

At least they shouldn't have sold him to a rival team in the same league. Manchester City have newly lost Gundogan and it didn't even take them a long time to fill his place. They have filled the place with a really solid midfielder like Kovacic. I don't know what Boehly is really planning to do with this.
Kovacic truly an unsung hero, such a magnificent midfield player. He did well at Chelsea, and his departure from the club will be deeply felt. It is indeed a mistake to let go of such a talented player. Kovacic's departure from Chelsea is undoubtedly a loss, but Chelsea fans can remain optimistic about the club's future. However, Chelsea fans can hope all will be fine. Boehly might have plans in place to build younger generation of players.
Kovacic's move to Man City definitely a perfect signing for them. After losing Gundogan, Kovacic can fill his position. Kovacic is undoubtedly a good player, but, Gundogan may possess a slight edge in terms of overall performance.
The Manchester City fans still think and hope Kovacic can replace Gundogan's position and performance, which I think will be problem pressure to Kovacic onwards on club. I hope he doesn't have stage fright next.

I don’t see anything bad in having multiple threads about premier league, even in the previous season there was two premier league threads and nobody complained about it. Actually the Op can decide to lock the thread but even if the thread is active, I don’t see anything bad in it, people will keep on using all the threads, and let’s wait maybe @Trofo is going to lock his own thread since the thread is too long already, maybe new thread can be created and let’s start next season afresh. But I will even recommend we even leave the thread, anybody can comment on any thread which they think they are convenient with.

I don’t know what you mean by if their will be clash between the two threads, how will the clash happen, anybody can choose to comment on the thread which they want and I don’t know how clash is going to happen.

This summer will be another chance for Manchester United to get Harry Kane but from latest rumor, they likely lose Harry Kane to Bayern Munich.

Did Manchester United change their minds and no longer want to sign with a nearly 30-yr old striker like Harry Kane with too high transfer cost?

Harry Kane 'AGREES Bayern Munich move' after bid

If I am not missing any news, Kane told many times that he wants to continue his career in Premier League to break the record of the league which is held by Alan Shearer. It is big regret for Premier League if no rich club there can keep Kane in the league.

Premier League all time records. Kane can break Shearer's record if he plays in Premier League like 3 or 4 more seasons.
Quote
1. Alan Shearer - 260
2. Harry Kane - 213
3. Wayne Rooney - 208
4. Andrew Cole - 187
5. Sergio Agüero - 184
6. Frank Lampard - 177
7. Thierry Henry - 175
8. Robbie Fowler - 163
9. Jermain Defoe - 162
10. Michael Owen - 150

I think it is good to have fresh threads about big European leagues. Because indeed such threads related to those leagues have turned into mega threads and people have to post there when they want to discuss a topic related to the leagues. I also know those two alternative EPL subjects @Despairo mentioned but they aren't the same with this one technically.

One of them is a pool thread on which only pool participants are allowed to make posts. The other one is a self-moderated thread and not everyone is keen on posting on such threads as far as I can see.
Yes, I know,
I don't know why they still post on the mega thread where there is a hitch and rules.
This is a good time to move on, all the Europa League 2022/2023 session is over. Better to create the new thread as the new session 2023/2024.

I'm even more interested in reading a new thread, I admit I'm bored reading old threads with hundred and thousand pages.

I don't know what I can sell there if endorsing the signature.

No, this is fresh and not as mega thread.
I don't know if any manager allows you to post on previous premier league threads where that have a thousand pages.

I just want to make the accommodation and a different thread, but if you guys are comfortable to post on the mega thread, leave this thread quiet, I also don't have interest whatsoever

Why you're only complain in this thread when there are two active thread discuss about Premier League too?

1. Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread
2. ⚽ English Premier League Season: 2022/2023

After all there are many duplicate thread in gambling boards, but when it's talk about sports, usually the thread wouldn't get locked and each of them is active. You can use report to moderator too and let's see what's the decision from moderator.

^^ Thanks for the correction, I mean default Premier League 2023/2024, and I just change the image to a new one.

Look like Manchester City still being favorite in the 2023/2024 session.
