The only difference i see here is their position in the league table. Currently Manchester United is in the 15th position while Southampton are in the bottom of the league table.

Honestly Manchester United is supposed to win the game but Southampton are striving to get a point from this game. I see the game to be Manchester United to win or draw

Tottenham are performing well this season so we can consider Tottenham as a strong opponent for Arsenal. However, in the last Premier League match, Tottenham lost 2-1 against Arsenal. Arsenal's win due to Tottenham's poor performance and their win puts them in a good position to secure second place in the points table. Last season Arsenal and Manchester City had a tough competition in the Premier League but this season Arsenal will compete not with Manchester City but with Liverpool. Manchester City is not performing well this season but Arsenal are performing like last season so we are expecting better from Arsenal this season.

If we talk about the results they get in the Premier League, of course the results they get recently are not much different. In their last 5 matches in the Premier League, Man United have only been able to collect 4 points, while Southampton have only been able to get 1 point.

However, as you said, when looking at Man United's performance and play when facing Arsenal in the FA Cup, they appeared quite impressive. And of course this is a fairly clear picture of the results that Man United will get when they host Southampton at Old Trafford. As hosts, of course they are in a fairly advantageous position, getting three points in this match is a must to be able to improve their position in the standings. Liverpool somehow tends to panic towards the end of the season, something i noticed two or three seasons ago. They were almost winning the the league that then they slipped and started having some series of draws then Manchester City took over and won the league. Like i said earlier about Arsenal, that team can't be trusted with the EPL title, although that's my opinion.

It doesn't take many goals, the important thing is that Man United can get three points in this match. and seeing how Man United has played lately, I'm sure they will win this match, especially since they will play as hosts.

Getting three points in this match is a must, because if Man United manages to get three full points in this match, then Man United's position will immediately rise to 12th position. Currently Man United is in 15th position with 23 points, with Crystal Palace above them with 24 points, Tottenham with 24 points and West Ham with 26 points. and if Man United manages to get three full points when facing Southampton, then they will collect the same points as West Ham. Manchester must simply win and it does not matter with what score. A draw or defeat will put United in an already bad defeat, given that United is 7 points away from the EPL relegation zone and Manchester must win, given that Southampton have almost no chance to save themselves from relegation.

Southampton have only 6 points and with a probability of 90% they will drop out of the EPL this year, unless a miracle happens, but it is hard to believe, because so far Southampton managed to win only once Everton with a score of 1:0 and three times played in a draw, so given this United must win today and take 3 points.

I don't think today's going to have that same outcome, I remember when Manchester united scored 9-0 against Southampton, this happened easily because they were in good form but currently they are struggling. I don't think Southampton can win Manchester united either because the team is currently in a bad shape. So it's going be a battle of two struggling teams. The sportsbook are in favour of Manchester united win with a very little odd given which doesn't exceed 1.35 odds. It's highly possible that Manchester might win the game with probably 1-0, but something tells me that it might end as a draw. Let's see how it goes, good luck to them.

You are actually correct the both team or club is not really inform but considering there recent performance and judging with it I can say that Manchester united is going to beat them but the problem Manchester united always have is that they don't too know how to play small club or team sometimes and I don't know why, it can be very easy for Manchester united to win or draw Manchester city, Chelsea and others than for them to win small team but right now Manchester united need points and Southampton also needs point but I don't think Manchester united can really lose against them because Amorim is creating and building something. However, Manchester united winning clean shit is what i don't think can or will be possible because they like playing GG, it is really going to be a tough one though and if an to play the game I will give Southampton 2 or 3 goals handicap to win Manchester united.

it shouldn't be too difficult to secure a victory against a team that has lost 16 of their 20 league matches. moreover, manchester united hasn't lost to southampton since 2016, which was quite a long time ago. their most recent encounter, about four months ago, ended with a 3-0 win for united.

as we look at all of these statistics, it's not hard to say that manchester united is going to win.
