I just hope that Manchester United are not planning to play draw with Southampton tonight because the match is goalless and first half is almost done. If this match continues this way into the second half, I will not be surprised if Manchester United losses the match because any goal from Southampton will make it very difficult for United to come back into the game. I was thinking that Manchester United will not suffer to collect the three points tonight since they are playing at Old Trafford, but it seems that is not the case as Southampton is playing with the mindset of "he that is down need fear no fall".

While I agree that United looked great on the last two outings, a tie with Liverpool, and beating Arsenal out of FA cup, which was awesome, we also need to remember the three games before that one as well. They lost to Wolves 2-0, and they lost to Newcastle 2-0, and they lost to Bournemouth 3-0 which is the most shocking one out of all of them.

So we need to remember that they have been having trouble, I get that they had two good games but that is not enough to say that they are doing good, so we need to give them some time before we start expecting much from them. Southampton is a simple team to beat, I am sure they have what it takes to beat them, but also Bournemouth looked like that too, so there is no guarantees at all.

It is absolutely ridiculous that the first half of the match between Manchester United and Southampton is gradually getting to an end and Manchester United is yet to score. Manchester United actually came to this match with the best they have and I so much believe that they are supposed to go home with three points in this match. The Manchester United young winner Garnacho has missed a lot of good chances that were supposed to put Manchester United ahead in the first half of this match. This does not mean that Southampton in the other hand is not making good efforts to score Manchester United. Southampton has made some good efforts which Manchester United Onana saved. If Manchester United allow Southampton to score them first in this very match, it will therefore mean that Manchester United will either go home with one point or no point.

Meanwhile it is about 40 minutes into the match and the match is not boring as per say. But if you are betting live, Manchester United to score first is a good bet.

Manchester United vs Southampton, so far Southampton are pressing Manchester United and looks like they want to score first with 4 shots on target, Onana made two quick great saves to deny Southampton from taking the lead on the night. 38 minutes and non of the team is yet to find the back of the net. 

 Man UTD who should have been the clear favorites in this game aren't even living up to expectations. Don't even have a shot on target to speak of whereas Southampton have four and you'd begin to wonder if this game won't end in a draw; a far cry from the 9-0 demolition the Saints suffered at the hands of the Red Devils a few seasons back.
 Maybe Man UTD are trying to acclimate themselves into the game that's why they haven't done anything in the defense of Southampton. I mean this is me making excuses for them because I'm yet to understand their pattern of play. Seriously, if Man UTD can't get three points from this struggling Southampton, I wonder who they want to defeat.

I probably don't understand something, but on the 25th minute of the game with the score 0-0 the odds are:

1.44 - 4.30 - 8.00

Is this a free giveaway or what? United are bad, but they have to beat the worst team in the league in a home game, which have only 6 points in 20 games. It will be really funny if United can't win, but I think this is the easiest bet on United.

Lol.. I think for them to have tried to remain in the Premier League every season is a contribution on its own but that's on a very lighter note. On a more serious note, Tottenham Spurs although they have a good forward, doesn't have the squad depth. My advise to the manager is that he should work towards scaling up the capacity of his players by buying more players into the club especially the defenders and midfielders. As for the strikers, Son has been doing well but he cannot do it alone.

Arsenal on the other hand needs more strikers to replace the likes of Saka because the pressure they usually give to the opposition doesn't have meaning since the club still finds it hard to score goals. I've noticed Arsenal's weakness in making goals even when they got the opportunity to score more goals they still fail. Arteta must look into this finishing or striking problem and work thoroughly on it.

I'm sincerely concerned that Manchester United are seriously drifting towards being a mediocre club, imagine where there is an argument if Manchester United are going to win a Southampton team that are on a losing spree and are also at the bottom of the league table.
Ten Hag doesn't have the locust to laugh at Amorim, he had more time, he had the opportunity to buy players of his choice, yet he couldn't deliver as expected. Let's give Amorim that same time,  although 15th position on the league table is not a good reputation for a club like Manchester United but I'm hopeful that they will get a victory against Southampton tonight.

A much-needed win for Arsenal given their poor form over the week, but it doesn’t change the fact that Arsenal need attacking reinforcements in January. Arsenal played fantastically despite having problems with players who have had injuries such as Saka’s recent surgery, White’s knee injury, Calafiori’s muscle injury, Nwaneri’s muscle injury, Gabriel Jesus’ ACL injury and Tomiyasu’s knee injury. However, they still made things difficult for Spurs and managed to get the win. However, Arsenal still failed to take their chances, they had plenty of chances but their finishing was poor.

This win also gives Arsenal hope that they can continue to compete with Liverpool. Arsenal are currently only four points behind Liverpool at the top of the table and Liverpool still have a game in hand. The EPL is still competitive, even without the presence of Man City who usually dominate.

Manchester United hosts Southampton at Old Trafford, but despite being the favorites, the Red Devils' form has been far from consistent. Southampton, sitting at the bottom of the table, hasn’t shown much improvement even after a managerial change. United, meanwhile, is also in a tough spot, having lost three consecutive home games. I expect the hosts to be highly motivated, with the outcome likely hinging on the performance of key players like Bruno Fernandes.

I really hope more for this match, even though in the previous match man united performed poorly when playing as the host, and lost some points when facing a weaker team. However, in order to improve their position in the standings, then winning three full points in this match is a must.

Before the match took place I thought that A. Bayindir would be the one who appeared under the crossbar, because considering his performance was quite good in yesterday's match against arsenal in the FA Cup. but it turns out that for the English league match, ruben amorin still trusts onana to be under the crossbar. And honestly I feel quite doubtful about onana, but hopefully he can perform well in this match, and be able to make important saves.

Arsenal definitely did a great job by getting that win, in a week where most teams got a tie, that win really helped them a lot. In theory they have just 4 points gap now, of course Liverpool has one less game so the gap could go up to 7 points once again, but at least they did get a win, otherwise it would have been worse. It wasn't an easy game neither, anyone who watched the game would tell you that it was much closer than it looked, but Arsenal managed to get the win and that's all that matters. Liverpool getting a tie really hurt them this week, but they are still far enough that they do not have to worry about this at all.

I believe Arsenal will finish second, Nottingham looks great and all but they are at best third place, probably even lower if Chelsea could get better results. I know people like to see fairy tale results and I want that too, wish they could win the whole thing even, but that doesn't look like what we will be seeing this season.

The statistical difference from the last 4 matches of Manchester United and Southampton is no difference at all but the depth of the squad is better than the Red Devils so it is likely that they can win at Old Trafford, moreover Southampton does not have a good winning record this team only won 1x.

So the prediction will be a lot to win Manchester United as for a different result, for example a draw in this match - then I say Manchester United is now much worse because they cannot win with the PL base team.

But we will see the match in a few minutes.

Man United vs Southampton

Manchester United are here again to play the third home match which they continued to faced defeat. Manchester United have encountered losses of points at Old Trafford than the away games, this is very unfortunate for a team not to even withstand pressure at their own house, I don't expect more from Manchester United this season due to the kind of performance they are having now. Ruben Amorim is going to use all this season studying how he's going to bring out best in Manchester United next season. Making it to top 8 is not going to be possible for them but I know they will come back stronger next season.

It was a fantastic weekend for Arsenal! A well-deserved win in the derby against Tottenham. The standout player in the first half was Trossard—he earned a corner, scored, and pulled off a brilliant move against Porro. In the second half, the team calmly managed the game to hold onto the lead. Critics might call it time-wasting, but fans will praise it as controlling the tempo. Either way, Arsenal delivered a confident performance!

Tottenham are not in a better situation any longer, they are performing weakly, and I don't think they can win any title this season in almost how many years. Tottenham is only in the Premier League every season, but they do not contribute to the league or win titles, they frequently fail in the league and other competitions.and that make Harry kane leave the team. How can they scoring and then lose at the end, They can't even draw the game. Arsenal played exceptionally well on the pitch and deserved to win three points. With Arteta's performance this season, I believe they can overcome Liverpool in the league table if Liverpool loses any games.

Nottingham Forest is in terrific shape and always has the opportunity to defeat major teamsor draw. now this season Liverpool didn't succeed against the club they defeat Liverpool 1-0 first leg and the second leg they draw what a good record from Nottingham Forest, they should continue doing well and am sure they can probably shock and win the premier league. because they still have chance to win the title is just that he won't be easy for them to top the league. Because they are still big clubs in the team that won't like to lose any point currently, Arteta should continue doing well he will definitely achieve is goals very soon.

Arsenal’s squad depth is nowhere close to being reliable. Against Manchester United it was clear they lack a top striker to lead their attack and convert these chances created, Arsenal created many chances but failed to convert them same thing happened against Spurs, lots of chances created but only two converted. This game would have finished 5-1 or even 7-1 but unfortunately the chances were not taken.

No doubt Manchester United stands to be the favorite team to win the match but that can only be proven if they consist with their performance recently considering the fact that their is possiblity of the players to perform less than expected as a result of their previous battles with Liverpool in the premier League and Arsenal in the FA cup even with 10 from the 61st minutes, we shouldn't over hype and expect too much from the Manchester United team because anything can still be possible even though am not directly saying that Southampton is going to win the match but we should be expecting a competitive match because Southampton is already at the bottom and they may not easily let go. Over 1.5 goals wouldn't be a bad idea if you ask me.

Ipswich Town vs Brighton

Ipswich (confirmed lineup): Christian Walton, Dara O'Shea, Luke Woolfenden, Jacob Greaves, Wes Burns, Leif Davis, Kalvin Phillips, Jens-Lys Cajuste, Omari Hutchinson, Nathan Broadhead, Liam Delap.

Brighton (confirmed lineup): Bart Verbruggen, Joel Veltman, Jan Paul van Hecke, Adam Webster, Pervis Estupinan, Carlos Baleba, Yasin Ayari, Simon Adingra, Matthew O'Riley, Kaoru Mitoma, Joao Pedro.

Both teams last meeting was September, and they ended the match in a draw. Their last five matches against each were tough because they recorded 3 draws and a single win each. Brighton have a brilliant performance because they played against Arsenal, Aston Villa, West ham etc in their last five matches and they all draw against them. Most especially arsenal that are currently on second place in the table, this show how Brighton are making progress. The defeated Norwich in FA Cup with 4-0. Ipswich have to defend themselves despite they are hosting Brighton at Portman Road, Brighton are very stronger and have the capacity to defeat Ipswich but sometime football teaches us lessons we don't think of.

The main reason why Tottenham is slumping this season is injuries, where Ange Postecoglou squad is ranked 4th in the list of clubs with the most injuries. I think whoever the manager is will still have difficulty leading his team to perform consistently when faced with such conditions. In total, there are 9 Tottenham players who are injured, with different recovery times. So it is natural that Tottenham is currently ranked 13th in the standings, they are still better than Man United who are ranked 15th in the standings with 6 injured players. Meanwhile, with the condition of the team currently facing a storm of injuries, it is likely that the management and club officials will not think about firing Ange Postecoglou in the near future. If all the players are back available, there is hope that Tottenham can bounce back and create a turnaround in performance.
