It was a surprised to many people seen Chelsea in top six in the premier league table to top Manchester united and other teams, because their coach discovered some faults that is affecting the team but the moment he found solution to it, Chelsea started getting it right at the end of the tournament.
They completed the season with a rank that is higher than what most of people thought and it is a mistake and responsibility from his head coach Pochettino who was sacked.

Is it fair enough to say the head coach was sacked because of this better than expected result?

Chelsea was in a crisis before Pochettino was appointed as their head coach and by helping Chelsea to end the season with a higher rank than expected, to be qualified for Europa League 2024 - 2025 season, he is responsible for it and deserved to be sacked, really?

Quote
I noticed some potential skills in this Chelsea new coach, because he is very comfortable with his players whenever they are playing with their opponent and Chelsea players will score goals but their opponent will equalized the goal at the end of the match.
The new coach will be put into another chaos in Chelsea and I really don't understand what's going on in Stamford Bridge. They should stick with Pochettino rather than sacking him and appointing a new head coach.

Quote
Chelsea ended up the season in top six which is a good performance for Chelsea, if you know where they are coming from in this season, and if their coach can still improve the players maybe they will come close to top fourth next season.
Next season, it will be challenging for them to maintain their sixth position, not yet achieving a position in top four that is like more challenging and impossible.

Chelsea has finished in the sixth position. That is definitely a great turnaround from them. At one point it actually looked like they were going to finish towards the relegation zone.
I never expected Chelsea to end the season in the top six because of their poor performance at the beginning of the season. Chelsea's performance towards the end of the season was just surprising to me, no one expected Chelsea's performance to improve towards the end of the season. I knew Chelsea wouldn’t be ending the season in the relegation zone, but I was expecting Chelsea to end the season in the middle of the table. I was just surprised to see Chelsea win their last five matches in a row, which really helped them climb the table to 6th position.

His performance is not enough for a team like Manchester United, FA Cup is not enough because he team's performance is going down on daily basis and it is mostly management mistakes which proves how nonprofessional Ten Hag is, and a team like United deserve better.
If United will have a better manager, then Ten Hag should be sacked for betterment of the team because Manchester United of all people should not be satisfied and happy just because of FA Cup victory.
I'm not saying all the work done by Ten Hag is very bad because he has given one FA cup trophy even though this trophy is not a big prestigious trophy at least he can bring Manchester United to the Europa League next season and get rid of Chelsea, in fact Ten Hag still has a good performance if the players suit him unfortunately I see a lack of chemistry between the coach and the players which is causing Manchester United to experience a decline at the moment Ten Hag and the management have spent a lot of money to buy players but their performance is not that great whether it is a lack of strategy or a lack of their ability because Manchester United has high expectations tall.

Maybe Ten Hag needs more time to build the club into the best, so far Manchester United has fired many coaches if it continues like that the club will continue to adapt from the start with a new coach and the club will not be successful if it has not made a significant approach unless Manchester United able to make an offer to a great coach like Xabi Alonso, Carlo Anceloti or Pep Guardiola then he will be successful in the hands of that great coach.

Mauricio Pochettino did an excellent task by elevating the Blues to 6th position, but Manchester United winning Manchester City in the FA Cup final automatically make them qualify for the Europa League and this is bad news for Chelsea. They will settle for the Conference League. The Blues will do great standings and winning will become important on their end. On the records, Chelsea didn't have a solid planning in the early starting of the English Premier League this season. It was one of the rough runs for the club under the regime of Mauricio Pochettino but things getting ready to become complex.
Pochettino have been success make Chelsea finish on Europe League spot standings by finish at 6th position place, but FA have regulation for the winner of FA Cup will qualify to Europe League make Chelsea have relegated to UEFA Conference League next season although current Manchester United standings finish on 8th place. Drastically difference intention between participant at UEFA Europe League and UEFA Conference League because most of unpopular teams will participants on Conference League.

But if can participants in Europe League and success become the winner will get qualify to Champion League although not finish on top fourth standings position at domestic league. Chelsea with new manager for next season need working hard for raising tp fourth position standings because have been three consecutives season not participants in  Champion League after finish outside of big four Premier League team.

Do you believe and expected with Chelsea new manager Enzo Maresca for next season will bring glory for Chelsea?

I think in the future if Todd Boehly continues to do the same thing and is not satisfied with the performance of the coach who has only been in charge for no more than 1 season then it will be impossible for Chelsea to show its best performance.
I was amazed by Chelsea at the end of this season under Pochettino, but knowing that next season there will be new coach because of Pochettino departure makes me doubt whether Chelsea will be able to change to be much better than now.
I just feel sorry for the Chelsea players who keep changing coaches, because they will never find their ideal game. Each coach has a different style and technique, with conditions like this it is impossible for Chelsea players to maintain stability. Todd Boehly is one of the people responsible for this result. He was not dissatisfied but did this deliberately for his business. As long as Todd Boehly policy is maintained, there is no guarantee that Chelsea will be able to find consistency on the pitch every season.
So that must be one of the main points that Todd Boehly must think about, if he only cares about big achievements in short time with ambiguous decisions regarding changing coaches more often then Chelsea will never find truly stable conditions.
I also confirm that each coach will have way of working as playing strategist and the composition of the line-up that is considered the best, moreover every new coach will definitely make changes by changing most of the existing players, this will become complicated problem if it continues to happen.

Initially, Todd Boehly was expected to be able to bring Chelsea back to the peak of its former glory, but it turned out that what he did made it difficult for Chelsea to develop, various ridiculous policies made Chelsea team that could not have strong performance.
There were several rumors regarding Todd Boehly who would sell Chelsea to Saudi investor and these rumors made me happy, but for some reason there was no follow-up regarding this matter and now we can't hear any confirmation.
If Chelsea can be acquired by Saudi investors then it is very likely that changes can occur and Chelsea will be able to have the performance that all its fans hope for.

Manchester United ending the league with 8th position does not mean Eric ten Hag is not a good coach. Sometimes when a team ends up with poor position it is not always the fault of the coach . For me I think ten Hag is not a bad coach,  the players in Manchester United are the main reason why Manchester United performance was bad for the season.  Most of the players in Manchester United are playing with no passion,  motivation to win their games. Manchester United have good players but it seems they lack the winning mentality, this players needs to be changed in next season.  If Manchester United should work with another coach it can even make everything to be difficult.
It is true, Ten Hag cannot be entirely blamed for Manchester United's poor performance this season. Because it could be that Ten Hag has provided good tactics and strategies, but the players cannot carry out these strategies perfectly. So basically we don't know yet whether the main cause of Manchester United's poor performance this season is because of Ten Hag as coach, or whether it is because the players are not good enough.

However, I personally really want to see Manchester United coached by another coach next season. Because from my observations, Ten Hag's ability to formulate strategies or tactics is at its maximum at this time. The reason is that Ten Hag has coached Manchester United for two seasons, but the results can be said to be less than satisfactory. Even this season, Manchester United is completely unable to compete with other big teams in the Premier League. The reason is, Manchester United was only able to finish in 8th place in the Premier League.

So it would be quite reasonable if, for example, Manchester United management replaced Ten Hag this season. Because if it is maintained, I think the impact will be quite bad for Manchester United. Because I'm sure, if for example next season Ten Hag is retained by Manchester United management, then the results will definitely not be much different from this season, or even worse. Because next season the competition in the Premier League will definitely be even tighter.

  • The winners of the conference League also automatically qualifies for Europa League next season irrespective of where they end the season in the table.
Indeed. That's why even though Man United is in 8th position in the standings, even lower than Newcastle, Man United managed to enter the UEFA Europa League. because Manchester United managed to win the FA Cup after beating Man City.

This is a good achievement for Manchester United to beat Manchester City. This is the start for Manchester United to further develop strategies that they can use to become champions of the English League next season which will start soon. So far Manchester United's journey is no longer what it used to be, so they have to get up. Manchester United fans and supporters have longed for the moment they lifted the trophy again.
It's good that Manchester United where able to lift the trophy from Mancity,it shows that when Ten Hag really wants to win something,he has a way of doing it,and if he can get the backings of the squad he has, then there is nothing the team can't achieve. Why I love the winning is because he said it in the pre-match interview, that United will give everything they can,to bring the trophy to old Trafford, which they finally did,and I just wish it was the kind of mumentum they had towards the end of the season, they wouldn't have ended in that kind of position, but now that they've lifted the trophy, they still have a chance to play in the European competition.

I just checked the standings and it's true that Manchester United got a ticket to the Europa League, I just found out that through the FA Cup a team can get ticket lol. Chelsea's struggles have been in vain in the last 2 months even though we know that Chelsea is also eyeing ticket to the European League, if Chelsea had more matches scheduled, maybe they could secure a top 5 position because they are one of the most impressive teams in the last 5 matches.

By the way, I highlight one of the Chelsea players, Cole Palmer he has been impressive this season and has scored 22 goals only 5 goals behind Haaland who won the golden boot, I'm sure these two players will compete with each other next season and Cole Palmer has the potential to take over the list of top scorers if he finds the right partner.

I think Chelsea's young squad will have difficulty integrating with the new coach in the 2024\25 season.

The Blues have parted ways with Mauricio Pochettino after just one season in charge. An impressive series of matches at the end of the season helped them finish the Premier League in 6th place. In the end, Chelsea played football where everyone thought "Oh, they can come back" and then they fired the manager. I believe this decision does not receive the support of many players in the Chelsea squad. And even the fans. He is a good manager and always knows how to motivate when players are down. He had a tough job here as half the squad was injured during the season, including key players. Finishing 6th place, this can be considered a successful season.

Chelsea not being able to make to Europa League based on the fact that Manchester United won Manchester City at the fa Cup final made me disappointed and really don't miss Poch much, though still have to give him credit when did a good job of finishing 6th even above Manchester United since it has been somehow long when last we finished above them in the EPL though they still beat us to the Europa League and we are left with the Conference league sigh.

The new Chelsea coach I don't have my hopes high on him, if he do great wonderful while if he do poorly he should sacked early enough, I don't just care about how tactical he maybe or Chelsea players he as once work with and even his oast achievements because to me he is a mid coach and above the hype he may perform poorly like Potter who was pretty good until he came to Chelsea and we all knows what happened next.

I believe this was from the fact that we were not having any attacker to score while also midfielders were also bad at goals which was the issue.
Jackson did well in pre season including Nkunku but when the season started one was injured and the other was just to bad at scoring and this continued even till season ending while the only attacker to step up was Cole Palmer though Sterling was somehow trying but became too inconsistent that we can say he was a disappointing also not until season ending when these players got some level of consistency and we saw a good improvement to finish 6th.
Another good thing was the fact that we had to drop Sanchez and focus on using Petrovic really made things better while our defense was still shaky though

Like you did said it's your taught tho, and everyone has got a right to their taughts because probably it's how they feel about the issue on ground but from a different angle you will agree with me that a poor performance for two seasons isn't just about the players anymore as there's definitely linkage with the coach in situations as such most definitely, you may want to think that ten hag did all he could but I'm of the opinion that he could have done even better.

There are situation where a team has gotten a poor performance and a new coach comes in and whit his influence, even without getting to buy new players the team gets to experience an almost immediate improvement because the coach has got good tactics and strategy and aswell names sure to communicate well with the players such that it serves as a morale boost to his players and they get to improve beyond their normal form because therea someone who believes in them even when others see them less but with ten hag it's seem different as there have been reported cases of them having issues in the dress room just before games and that alone is enough to affect the psychology of players well enough.

Getting another coach for Manchester united at this time is the best they can do because even if they would want to sell players, not all of the players can be sold off at once, and what if the good players aren't in a very good or perfect terms with ten hag, then the team is set to still suffer another era of set backs again but with a new coach, these players gets the chances to see how well they can get the team back to its glory days.

Bro, my own opinion and assessment to this issue may be different from yours but for me that is what a good manager does when he comes to a team. To mend the forces and make things work for a faulted team. Let's take for instance, Manchester United was in their worse state of affairs and performance when Ten Hag came into the club. What I seriously expected from him was to right the wrongs and set the record straight for the club. This is what big coaches do. This is the point to which you should appreciate the likes of Xavi of Barcelona and Arteta of Arsenal. Instead, Ten Hag was having series of issues with his star players and had to bench the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo when he was heavily paid by the club to deliver in his task as top player in the club.

Chelsea performance was awful, the late surge of good performances does not negate that fact. The team started to perform after there was no pressure requested or required to win points

Knocked out of all cup championships and struggled to finish 6. That’s a poor season
If Chelsea's performance was awful, how do we describe that of United who were far above Chelsea but later on finished below them. Everyone knows from the start of the season,  Chelsea had it all wrong and most people felt nothing much could be done, guess it took a different turn. We now believe that Chelsea will do better next season than the way they ended this season. You said started performing lately when there is less pressure, forgetting that it is the worst time to lose any game because it will be very difficult to retrieve back points from any of the matches lost, example on what happened to United.

Everything needs a process and Manchester United has fallen so badly that it is not easy for them to get up.
At the moment there is no news about Ten Hag's future, but I am very sure that he will stay at Manchester United and if Manchester United is able to bring in several new players, I am quite sure that Ten Hag will be able to make Manchester United better next season.

Yes, everyone is aware of Manchester United's bad performance this season, and it is very bad to see a club like Manchester United struggling to get a place in the Europa League competition next season. Manchester United's last-season performances were better than this by far. I don't know what really caused their poor performance this season, and with the set of quality players Manchester United have, I don't even expect them to end in this position this season. Ten Hag is not that bad a coach from his records, but I don't know why his finding  it hard in Manchester United, but I know it is time if they can give Ten Hag more time in Manchester United. I believe it will one day achieve what are all the fans are expecting from him, and take the  club to the level they belong to.

Actually in this case I don't want to say Ten Hag is a bad coach because indeed he is still one of the great coaches but indeed at Manchester United he doesn't have that much chemistry to build a good performance but that doesn't mean he is bad just not suitable for the EPL atmosphere.

He could coach well at Ajax for several seasons which proved that he was good enough as a coach but in the end he had to realize that the EPL did not seem to be the market he should go to because the pressure was too great for Ten Hag. So that rather than being forced it will only waste greater trust and respect especially with his very high egoistic attitude making the players finally start feuding again and again with him even though as a coach things like this must be avoided because it can disrupt the balance of the club.
It is actually a wise thing if Manchester United are looking for a replacement option even though 2 Ten Hag trophies have been won in the last 2 seasons but that does not prove that Mancehster United's performance is better.

The fact that some United fans still want Erik tan hag is very very confusing to me. I get that he won the FA cup, which is lovely and I am not against that at all, but that team finished 8th in the league, that is not United level of result you can't be happy with a manager who made the team 8th.

I mean I get that there were a lot of injuries, which is terrible that is true and some of the results were because of the injuries, meaning that he is not the only responsible party here, it's just life. However, even with that he shouldn't have done this badly with that much money spent on transfers that he wanted. I believe that anything out of top four was unacceptable and he should be fired to get someone much better instead.

Not all United fans want Erik Ten Hag to be fired, and there are also many United fans who want him to stay at Man United. This of course has pros and cons. However, if you look at Erik Tan Hag's achievements at Man United in the last two seasons, it's not too bad considering that many players are injured, this is not an excuse, but if many players are injured, of course. Erik Tan Hag's strategy will not go according to plan. Erik Ten Hag's performance in two seasons was also not too bad, Man United managed to enter the final three times, two of which won trophies. Even though Man United finished eighth in the EPL league standings, I think he has the right to be kept. Plus, thanks to winning the FA Cup, Man United can play in the Europa League, so this isn't too bad for Erik Ten Hag.

Because if you want to change coaches it's the same, it could even make things worse, that's been happening since SAF retired. The change of coach has not resulted in success for Man United. So it is natural that Man United still believes in Erik Tanhag to build the team next season. Maybe fans have to be patient, it takes a process for Erik ten Hag to build a strong squad because it's not as easy as turning the palm of your hand to become a good team.
