This is just one of those horrible seasons in soccer game. A change of tactics is all City needs at the moment which will require lots of experimenting again until they find a perfect tactics they can deploy to return back to their dominance and winning streak.

The Gunners might misuse this opportunity of winning the game and changing their position to second on the log, Chelsea failed to continue putting pressure on Liverpool and now we have the Gunners to try their best to be number that's if Liverpool starts dropping points. Arteta is the one holding these guys from becoming champions, said this because he hasn't been looking forward to get a proper number 9 but he chose to play every game with a false 9 and I don't know if he wants to try all the styles he saw Pep Guardiola used when he was assisting him. This match was always under the control of Manchester City, but unfortunately Manchester City players did not perform well and Haaland missed the penalty. Liverpool is still showing an extraordinary game. Even though they were behind at the start of the first half, they were able to equalize and ultimately win the match. Now Liverpool, with a total of 42 points, has become increasingly secure in first place. In this week's match, I actually hope to see an extraordinary comeback from Man City, Tottenham and Man Utd. But what happened was just the opposite. Man City did play well at the start but then it got worse. And so does Tottenham. They just controlled more of the ball but couldn't take advantage of the moment well at all. And yeah Man United is even worse. Amorim's courage in changing the starting eleven in every match has really made this team even worse in the Premier League. And yes, it is very bad to see Man United ranked 14th this season. I find this hard to believe.

But Liverpool did not disappoint. They are consistent and able to turn things around very well. And I hope Arsenal don't disappoint in today's match.

In the 18th week of the Premier League yesterday, many surprises occurred, Man City, Aston Villa, Chelsea and Man Utd were defeated by teams below them, maybe there were other factors that caused their defeat yesterday. Only Liverpool remained consistent with their victory.

not being in the title race doesn't mean that you should be giving out points. you want to build the winning mentality in the mind of your players that gives them the understanding that losing games is an abomination in the team and so they are able to fight back or push to defend the lead they already have till he game comes to a close. have you observed that in the recent game of the Chelsea team, they had to struggle when it approaches the end of the game and that is basically because they are yet to play like the kind of team that will force the attack till almost the last minutes of the game. until they are able to fix things up that way, then the team still have a long way to go.

if a player like Reece James was in the team, i doubt that they would have lost this game this way. they just need a matured defender at the defense line that will show complete leadership role at that spot so attackers don't always assume that the defense can always be penetrated at ease anytime they want to do so. if after all the good result they have had since the start of the season till now they use the excuse that they are not in the title race to push themselves down past the 3rd position on the table, it will only show how much of an average team chelsea is.
