Arsenal has qualified for the semifinals and is also maintaining their first position in the EPL. It's an impressive achievement so far, and they must handle the pressure smoothly at this stage. Things won't be easy, and there's no room for mistakes. They're so close to success and must seize the opportunity to win.
For the position in the EPL they are still possible to maintain it at this time but to qualify for the semi-finals at this time Araenal is still no guarantee for that because however at this time leg 2 is still a determinant to be able to determine whether they can qualify for the semi-finals or not because both Arsenal and Bayern are still uncertain who will qualify because both still have the potential to be in the semi-finals especially the score is still a draw so anyone still has a chance in the second leg later.

But talking about achievements, this season Arsenal are very competitive and indeed it must be appreciated considering what they have done this season where when they still survive in the race for the EPL and Champions League it needs to be appreciated until now.
I don't understand what OP means by saying that Arsenal have qualified for the semifinals, because in the first leg they only achieved a draw when they hosted Bayern Munich and they have to play a tougher match by facing Bayern Munich who will play at their own headquarters. Is there another semi-final that OP is referring to?

Their journey is still very difficult to get to the semifinals, they have to fight hard at home to their opponents to be able to have a place in the semifinals of the Champions League this season. The fact is that they also failed to win in the first leg, which makes them uncomfortable because whether they like it or not, winning is something they must achieve.

Bayern Munich has an advantage because they will play in front of their own supporters. Even though they just experienced defeat at their own base when they were beaten by Borussia Dortmund, they will definitely learn from their mistakes and don't want to repeat them.

Playing a draw at home is not always considered bad if Arsenal can provide a better game in the second leg (away match). Of course, Bayern Munich will likely be the favorite at home, but Arsenal is a good team who will most likely also win the second leg.

Manchester City and Arsenal both ended the first leg of the Champions League quarter-finals with a draw. They have good form to hope for a ticket to the semifinals, but Real Madrid and Bayern Munich also have the same chance in the second leg. This match will be very interesting of course, that's because all four teams still have a chance.
From this match it was clear that Arsenal dominated the game and they also managed to score the first score. Actually, if we look at Arsenal's performance then victory is in sight. Luckily, Bayern Munich got a penalty kick so they managed to make the result end in a draw. If Bayern Munich didn't managed to take advantage of this opportunity, Arsenal emerged as the winners. I am sure that in the second leg Arsenal will use their full strength to snatch victory from Bayern Munich.
I doubt that Arsenal can win this round, indeed both teams still have the same chance, but in the next match Arsenal will face Munich away, of course this will make Arsenal feel pressured and I'm not sure that even if Arsenal uses all their strength, Munich will also do the same thing, let alone competing at home will make Munich more confident to win.
Because it is an away match for Arsenal, I don't see Arsenal becoming less in their attacks against Bayern Munich. Arsenal will be attacking Bayern Munich with their full strength and if Bayern Munich doesn't have their defense strong built, they will lose to Arsenal team. Arsenal really don't have the mindset of performing less because of they are the away team.
Champions league this season doesn't care about that the team(away or home) that takes victory. It is let the best perform team win the second leg

But talking about achievements, this season Arsenal are very competitive and indeed it must be appreciated considering what they have done this season where when they still survive in the race for the EPL and Champions League it needs to be appreciated until now.
I think it's worth appreciating Arsenal's achievements but they can't be proud of by all supporters because they haven't produced anything this season, just better match results than last season, but talking about achievements I haven't seen any memorable achievements in my opinion unless they reach the semi-finals. UCL final or getting the EPL title this season, but I admit Arteta's tenacity in setting strategy. He has learned a lot from every failure, including last season's failure, many changes that he has shown to everyone that Arsenal are much better over time. but I hope they can keep it up.

The reason is that last season they were proud of their good results but at the end of the season they failed to win the EPL title, that's why they haven't had any achievements to be proud of until they win the EPL title this season or reach the semi-finals of the UCL this season, even though in the end if they Failing to lose to Munich in the second leg, Arsenal must continue to improve next season so they can reach the important round in the UCL next season, but I want to see them beat Munich in the second leg or be able to win the EPL title consistently until the end. season.

Yes, that's true, indeed Arsenal and Liverpool both have points superior to City, but I think they can still catch up in the next match. I also think that in their next match City can win by a landslide. However, even though City are currently playing very well, they cannot underestimate their opponents, like when they played against Real Madrid with a draw, that's not too bad either, with City being able to match Real Madrid, in my opinion it proves that City is a really strong team.

I don't underestimate Arsenal and Liverpool, because these two teams are equally strong, but with these three teams competing, I think City might still be able to catch up and beat them, even though yesterday City and Arsenal's match ended in a draw, that wasn't City's wish but theirs I've done my best. and I hope that in the future they will continue to provide and display their best performance.

Man City will play the day before Liverpool and Arsenal and it looks like they will be able to win that match easily, so Man City will be in first place in one day. Liverpool will also face easy opponents and most likely it will not be difficult for Liverpool to get 3 points. What's quite tough is Arsenal because they will play against Aston Villa, which has had quite a good performance this season. However, Arsenal still has a bigger chance than Aston Villa because Arsenal will play at home.

Arsenal maybe lacking here in the game against Aston Villa not because they cannot win the game even after such an opponent, they surely can but because they need to save power for the upcoming 2nd leg of the Champions League which they will play in Munich and will have a hard time if they spend to much energy during the game of Aston Villa. It is in Arsenal choice what would they value more, the continuing of a superb form in the Premier League fighting hard for a title that they are a couple of years near missing it or shift focus during this week for the Champions game risking big for their overall fight for the title in the Premier League.

If Arsenal can really improve with their attack, with how they were able to control the pitch in the first leg, I don't think they will be under pressure like that. Arsenal really played well in the last match, but the attack was not that strong. Arsenal were just doing touches on their own half-field side. They are making a lot of attacks, which was what I expected Arsenal to make in the first leg, but honestly, they were just driving back. With how Bayern Munich was playing, it is clear that Bayern Munich is not in that great form, and even from their own home game, I am not expecting much from them, but they will improve and play well more than the first leg game.

Infact,  last match, it seemed that Bayern was just observing arsenal patterns of playing; it was counterattack tactics they were using with defensive, but with the pattern, I know Bayern Munich with is to play more aggressively at all angles to attack the opponent. Let's just wait and see what happens in the returning leg. Maybe Arsenal will have the opportunity to reach the reach the semi-final.

Manchester City can be at the top of the standings at any time, as long as Arsenal and Liverpool suffer defeat or at least draw from the matches they play. Manchester City also have high targets, apart from their target of defending their title in the Champions League, they also want to defend their title in the Premier League.
Now the challenges are two, namely Arsenal and Liverpool, this is a difficult thing that they will accept and to be honest this is not only difficult for Manchester City, it will be the same for Arsenal and Liverpool too. We can see until the end of the season who will be champions, and I think we have to see it until the last match in the Premier League this season. Because with no gaps like that, one match will change everything, whether for Arsenal, Liverpool or Manchester City. They have to work hard until the end of the season.

I think that all three teams should be able to win their matches due to the critical time that they are. Any club that fails to win their match will jeopardize with their chance of lifting the trophy this season. Arsenal shoukd be able to win Aston Villa, but they need to be very careful because Aston Villa is in form.

Aston Villa will also take the match very serious because their chances of going to the Champions League is very slim currently, because they are now on the 50th position, and Tottenham is sitting on the 4th position topping them with goals.

Maybe, it's a bit too late for EPL to implement this but finally, it has come.

As per the latest report by romano if EPL will implement semi automated off side technology (SAOT). What do you guys think about this? I think that there will always be many parties who pros and cons. Some said it will affect the viewers' experiences because some people may feel like watching robotics football.

There will always be parties who contradict this, but this also increases the accuracy of determining whether the position was offside or not. Serie a has introduced this even since the previous season. EPL will start to use this next season.

We have seen Munich lost at home several times this season due to their poor form, and that is why Arsenal might be luck to win them at home for this reason. Apart from that, I don't think that it would have been possible for Arsenal to think of winning Bayern Munich in Germany.

Arsenal should see this match as a big challenge for them to use and advance to the semifinals and make record again, because it has been a very long time since Arsenal have qualified to the semifinals. It is a big challenge for them to meet up with maintaining their first position in EPL, and also going to win Bayern in Germany.
Luck may not be on their side at Allianz Arena. Bayern are likely to knock Arsenal out of the Champions League at their home ground. While Bayern has lost at home several times this season, there's nothing particularly special about this Bayern team this season. Despite these circumstances, if Arsenal can still control the game and create more chances than Bayern, they may have a chance.

On the other hand, I see Bayern Munich who are now less worried about facing Arsenal. Moreover, if you watch the match in Leg 1 and based on match statistics, Arsenal is superior. It doesn't matter if you play away because the mentality of Arsenal players is still worth betting on. Bayern Munich had minimal possession of the ball in the first leg, resulting in an imbalance in Tuchel squad which is still a serious problem for the Bayern Munich players. So in my opinion, even though they are playing at home to Bayern Munich, Arteta troops can still provide the same resistance.

My prediction so far is that Arsenal will qualify and will fight in the semi-finals with the possibility of Manchester City as their opponent. On the other hand, Atletico Madrid met Barcelona because their respective opponents showed setbacks, Dortmund couldn't do much and PSG was clearly still having difficulty turning things around after losing 2-3 at home.

Personally, I might as well do BTTS in this match. Maybe the BTTS I will choose is BTTS Yes. The reason is that even though Tottenham has a big chance of winning, it is possible that Newcastle will also score one or two goals in this match. So choosing BTTS Yes, I think it would be better.
The bookie already know both teams are often score and conceded a goal, so the odds for BTTS Yes is low @1.33. Personally I won't bet for such low odds, sometime Tottenham perform very awful, just like when they met Fulham, scored nothing and conceded 3 goals.

I would bet "Will there be more than 2.5 goals? Yes" the odds is @3.20, worth to risk.

If you are confident about both teams to score goals, then at the same time there should be no hesitation in betting on the over 2.5 goals option or perhaps higher too. Because of course, when you are sure that both teams will score goals, then at that moment you are also sure that in this match there will be lots of goals and because of that. If you are looking for an option regarding bigger odds then clearly, the option you choose regarding over goals like that is the right choice. Because indeed, I also realize that Newcastle and Tottenham are teams that have the ability to score good goals this season and at the same time, their defense is still quite easy to concede. Therefore, whatever you choose to bet on this match, I am sure the option you choose will still be a good option to make a profit in this match.

In domestic league, Bayern Munich had losses in several matches but its not happening current their performance in Champion League with home match, I think can't comparison with performance of Bayern Munich in domestic league and campion league. Bayern Munich had give up and after defeating by Heidenheim last match Thomas Tuchel have announced give up and said over for winning Bundesliga trophy in this season with many point gap from Bayern Leverkusen.
I can't see easy for Arsenal will win on second leg match, keep focus in premier league next match against Aston Villa to secure the first standings and other way need make rotation to save their players have on the top level performance against Bayern Munich three days later after premier league match.

Bayern are unstable this season and they lost to outsiders both home and away, so with Arsenal the result could be anything in the return game, playing at the home stadium will not give Bayern significant bonuses. Let's say it will be difficult for Arsenal to win (this is 100%) but they can dry out the game (like in the game with City) and then there is a high probability that we will see extra time and a penalty shootout.

Who knows if Bayern's performance instability will drive them to the UCL title this season like what chelsea did in the past, none can't accurately predict this. Bayern's draw against Arsenal at Emirates Stadium in the last match will have significant impact to the second leg, the home game clearly provides a significant advantage for bayern munich as the supports from the fans will be obviously boosting the mentality owned by the players. despite the fact that the aggregate score would be zero and it gives bigger chance for bayern to beat arsenal away and it's kinda different when arsenal was starting the game by leading the aggregate.

Bayern Munich should have learned a lot from what Porto did. Tuchel must stop making the same mistakes, and this is a key factor in Bayern Munich's win over Arsenal. The away game obviously put more pressure on the arsenal and bayern must have played even better. I think tuchel was clearly aware about the weakness spot of arsenal.
Arsenal have rarely performed well against Bayern away and im standing on this to pick bayern win or btts, and this may continue in the upcoming match since club must have also defended its superiority against arsenal. BTTS is likely going to happen here, but I believe Bayern will win the upcoming game. Simply because it has a poor domestic record and can be generalized if Bayern fail to beat Arsenal.

This is Arteta's test to pass Bayern Munich. It's time to maintain Bayern Munich's good record against Arsenal at the Allianz Arena. Betting on BTTS or total over still makes sense here.

Actually there's also some amount of pressure on Munich too to achieve a victory in the game but then I'm very optimistic about Arsenals performance in that they seem to have a good level of confidence in their recent form considering all the games they have been able to win an their performance against Munich which got them a draw was actually not an easy game even for Munich aswell.

In their second leg Munich will be playing from home and that is actually looking like a good advantage but then Munich hasn't bee consistent enough to really differentiate their home performance from their away performance which will be much better than the other but then they will literally have to improve their performance if they wish to still continue in the champions league again because Arsenal is really bent on winning and they have got a fair strength with their attack although Munich as also got a sharp attacking tactics but then Arsenal Also still have a fair defense too.

Arsenal has also got pressure from the premier league too which will actually affect them in a way because they will be trying to maintain their spot on the top of the table in the premier league for a possible opportunity to end up lifting the premier league title this season but then Liverpool is Also relentless about the title too so i feel for Arsenal it's not going to be really easy as they have a lot to tackle already.

That makes sense, indeed if you look at it now and this season, City deserves to win the trophy because of its consistently good performance. Arsenal might still be able to catch up, but it might be difficult because there is City, where this team is a strong team, but I also think Arsenal have done their best with their game, it's just that luck is not on their side.
I can not come to a conclusion that Manchester City are more stable than Arsenal and Liverpool so far in this season. In earned points of three competitors, Arsenal and Liverpool both have one point more than Manchester City and it is quite wrong to say with a little bit easier rest last matches, Manchester City will take a first position from Arsenal and Liverpool.

It's only in theory and either Arsenal or Liverpool can beat Manchester City with 1 point more than the competitor. If Manchester City only race with one competitor either Arsenal or Liverpool, their chance to win Premier League will be bigger. It's not their situation now, they have two competitors and will need both competitors to lose points.

Yes, that's true, indeed Arsenal and Liverpool both have points superior to City, but I think they can still catch up in the next match. I also think that in their next match City can win by a landslide. Newcastle is very not consistent this season because until week 31 Newcastle only can occupy 8th place with collect 47 points and with 13 points below to Tottenham obviously Champion League spots is impossible for them and actually Newcastle has showing slightly good progress because in the last 3 matches in Premier League Newcastle is still unbeatable and the latest is they can win at Fulham home ground with narrow score so Tottenham have to be careful to Newcastle because they potentially can makes Tottenham get in trouble

Previously Tottenham was able to beat Newcastle several times with big scores and Tottenham too has good chances to repeat those results again this week and for squad conditions Tottenham probably still playing without Richarlison who got injured but i think it won't have any problem because Tottenham has good depth of squad so other players just like Son Heung-Min still can replace Richarlison position and about the outcomes of this match certainly Tottenham will be the winner of this match
a match that is little difficult to predict because both teams have actually been equally inconsistent lately, it's just that Spurs are admittedly more stable than Newcastle.
anyone who will bet on this match will take a big risk even though betting on 1x2 gives big odds but believe me the result will not be what we think even though Son is still Spurs mainstay but several times in the match Son was unable to do anything or was unable to score in several match.
choosing to bet on BTTs will be the best choice because in the history of meetings these two teams have always put up resistance and each has always scored.
and my advice to anyone who wants to bet on the Newcastle vs Spurs match would be to avoid the Asian handicap which is very risky for inconsistent teams.

Its opportunity match for Tottenham Hotspur against Newcastle United in this week to make many points gap with Aston Villa and securing the fourth standings position for qualifying to UEFA Champion League next season. In last three games, Tottenham Hotspur had good trend after after winning 2 of 3 matches and currently has the same points with Aston Villa but get one more match. Currently, Newcastle United's performance not really bad in last three games by winning 2 of 3 matches and got one match draw, but Newcastle United dreaming to qualify on Europe League almost over behind 13 points from Aston Villa and become bad result regarding last season Newcastle United success finish on top fourth place.

Tottenham Hotspur must secure three points against Newcastle United because has many difficult matches later waiting for, upcoming three matches later Spurs has to face Arsenal, Chelsea and Liverpool will be more heavy for defending the top fourth position.
I looked with whom Tottenham had to play in the nearest tours, and the first thing I thought about was that they could not stay in the Champions League zone. Newcasl, Arsenal, Chelsea, Liverpool and through one tour of City, how do you think from these teams Tottenham can lose points? Aston Villa also has complex rivals, but they have everything much better in this regard. As for the match with Newcasl, these guys can cause problems at home to any team.

Tottenham had a very good beginning, but now everything can end with the fact that they can be left without a top 4.
Tottenham is in tough spot now, if not for this we could have said they definitely would have qualified for champions league since Aston villa are not even consistent lately while these two teams started well this season they have been too many ups and down which may even give Manchester united a chance of getting a champions league spot.

I think Tottenham will be winning against Newcastle, since they already know their next fixtures they won't be going easy with Newcastle who might try to make things difficult but Spurs should be coming out strong here, while they might probably get a draw/win against Chelsea but Liverpool, Arsenal and City this will be difficult either a win or draw but it's football anything can happen and also they are a good team but just too inconsistent.

Overall this is one of the amazing EPL season in long time,  7 to 6 matches left and the 3 horses race to win league is still on while teams qualifying for Europa and conference league and even finishing 4th is still difficult to predict  Grin

Bayern Munich would be having home advantage and that of the fans as well and I don't believe Arsenal would be able to get a good win unless it comes with some levels of luck or favoritism from the mall ch officials as well errors. Bayern Munich now has all of them best players around and with no Injury, Arsenal stands no where near them to halt them from progressing into th next round.

And when you consider Arsenal's chances of winning the Premier League Competition, you'd see they have still on too many competitive clubs that are fighting to qualify for the Conference League Competition, European Europa League Competition qnd also the Champions League Competition.

Don't forget they have Manchester United, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Chelsea. These are hard core games, they go throughout these ganes with wins, they we can call them the best in the Premier League Competition but one step at a time.
