Yes Arsenal was more of defensive because they can't play an attacking football with Manchester City because that would have cost them the game since City has more possession of the ball, one important thing i noticed about Arsenal in the game is that they allowed City to have more control of the ball but they kept them away from their post because City did not have the opportunity to shoot shots like they used to do when they play against other teams. The game wasn't that boring just that most people expected to see goals in the match but when they were not seeing goal attempts they became angry watching the game.
Exactly, Arsenal really relied more on their defense in this match. Their target means actually preventing Man City from scoring goals. And they used a quick counter attack system to attack, so they only had a few chances to advance into the Man City area and couldn't win more balls. But, even though they are quite defensive, Arsenal's shots on target are actually more compared to Man City. This means that Arsenal's game is actually working quite well, but it cannot be denied that Man City's defense is also strong, their goalkeeper is also strong. And Draw could be Arsenal's worst target for this match.

Yes, the point is that both teams played well and I think we deserve to give applause to Mikel Arteta and Pep Guardiola because these two coaches are very good at training their teams and the formation that Pep Guardiola uses is of course very good and it is that Manchester City's attack is very good but it be It can be denied that Arsenal's defense is very strong so a draw is indeed deserved considering that both teams have good performance.

It seems that for the next match Pep Guardiola has to make Manchester City even better and must be able to take advantage of opportunities because I think if for example in the upcoming match Manchester City loses or draws then the hope of becoming champions is very difficult.

and of course Mikel Arteta must also be able to make the performance of Arsenal players even better and must be able to continue to consistently win so that Arsenal's potential to become champions this season is huge.

Now the competition between the strong teams in the EPL is not over yet and I can't wait to see the champions this season, but I also hope that no more players are injured.

However, my prediction is that if Arsenal is able to win head to head against Bayern Munich in the UCL league then Arsenal's mentality will improve, but if they lose, the percentage of Arsenal without a trophy will be higher this season. On the other hand, Liverpool vs Man United will determine where Liverpool will go in the race for the EPL League title this season. Man City seems to be more relaxed about retaining the championship title, if they could become champions of course they would be happy but even if not, that's okay, just think of Pep Guardiola as giving a farewell gift to the toughest rival in his coaching career.
The chances of Arsenal winning is lower than the chances of them winning Epl and we saw how they fair against FC Porto in the round of 16 but let's how they fair against Bayern Munich who are having their worst season in over a decade in their domestic league.
While Liverpool as  a difficult game against Manchester united this weekend I think they might actually win though Manchester united was actually the better team in their last meeting beating them 4 goals to 3 but also don't forget Arsenal still has a game against Manchester united. Let's see how these 2 team fighting for the EPL title fair against the red devils who is currently doing better now

I really don't sees it that way that if they can beat Bayern Munich that the chances of them winning a trophy this season has risen, no, it's very true that arsenal are in a very good form this season but as it stands in the league, it would be very difficult for them to win it now, because their destiny is no longer in their hands, Liverpool would have to threw it away, for them to stand a chance.

And as for the champions league, even if arsenal win Bayern Munich and progress which to me is very much unlikely,  due to lack of experience, I don't really think they have the required experience to go all the way to the finals and win it, because in the champions league, experience is vital for a team to be successful, and that is actually what this arsenal team mostly lack in the champions league, which was very visible against Porto, and they would have payed for lack of experience if luck wasn't on their side.

Even though the match was quite boring when not a single goal was scored, it was also worth appreciating the two teams who didn't want to give up on each other in a big match. Both Manchester City and Arsenal have done their best to maintain their consistency and although in the end both teams shared one point but that is better than not getting a single point.

It is clear how both teams also guard each other's goals so as not to concede and here Arsenal can always thwart Manchester City's opportunities with their strong defense. Overall, Manchester City controlled the game but they were unable to create gaps in Arsenal's defense. One thing is certain, with this draw, Liverpool will benefit greatly because they are still at the top of the standings with 67 points and they will still be at the top of the standings if they still win in the next match.

Unless Liverpool have other plans, Liverpool has a chance to win the league title by leading Arsenal by two points, which they can maintain until the end of the season. Liverpool didn't have any important games left in the Premier League, in my opinion, so they should take their remaining games seriously. If they don't, Manchester City and Arsenal will pass them and win the championship, which will be a huge disappointment for both the team and its supporters. The coach will also be disappointed, as this is his last season and he will want to leave the team happy having won trophies.

Regarding the Manchester City vs. Arsenal match, to be honest, that match is really difficult. I know some people will find it boring because neither team scored goals, but I find the match to be extremely tough because both teams are strong and can defeat each other while battling for a point. It is difficult for any team to gain a point, and this particular match pits the two strongest teams in the Premier League against each other. Manchester City played more than Arsenal in the match, but Arsenal fought back to force a draw.

Chelsea fans was hanging their hopes on the shoulder of Nkunku that he would change the style of play and all that but things went crazy when the player returned from injury but we never saw him (Nkunku) perform like he used to at Leipzig. The Blues got luck and Cole Palmer came in and you'd agree with me that this guy has been the face of this team, though he's young but he is the main man for Chelsea, without him things would have been going bad for the Chelsea side and I believe they would've been struggling to go above the relegation zone.
So all I'm saying is that without Palmer Chelsea can't play out their best, Pochettino need to make the team to be more better without the young lad because when injury or suspension comes knocking I only see the Blues losing more than they can win or draw.
What I hope from Chelsea is to change the way they recruit players. I hope there are some senior players in their club. Because building too many young players also requires senior players in the field who can serve as inspiration for young players in the field. Like what Real Madrid does, they always leave senior players at their club who are tasked with making young players learn a lot from these senior players. And after the young players mature, then senior players can start to be released. The big changes in the Todd Boehly era are completely beyond me. And now the results don't seem to have improved at all.

The right to decide the championship was ceded to Liverpool after a dramatic draw between Arsenal and Mancity. I am sure that this is a result that both teams did not want, they tied themselves up so that Liverpool could surpass them.

Liverpool in the remaining matches will meet many top-10 ranked clubs. Tottenham, Westham, Wolves, Man United and Aston Villa. I think not an opponent Easy. They could have made mistakes. Maybe that's where Arsenal and Man City should still feel the opportunity is still very open. They have to maximize for every game to get 3 points. It will be beneficial when Liverpool make mistakes in the rest of the game.

Manchester City failure to achieve maximum results at the Etihad Stadium left Arsenal with an impressive record. Previously, Manchester City had always scored goals in 57 consecutive matches at the Etihad Stadium, but this fantastic record stopped when they faced Arsenal. Arsenal really showed their class in front of Manchester City, they managed to build a strong defense which made it difficult for Manchester City to break down their defense in this match. It was recorded that Manchester City was only able to get one shot on target out of a total of 12 attempts, a very bad figure for the defending champions.

Of course Liverpool greatly benefited from the draw achieved by their two rivals, the victory over Brighton made Liverpool return to the top of the standings. Liverpool will continue to maintain a safe position by getting full points in the next match. This season's competition is very competitive, meaning the top of the standings must always consistently maintain their performance every match so they have the opportunity to win the title at the end of the season.

Yes, Arsenal was great in that match and the formation that Arteta used in my opinion was a good formation and with the 4-3-3 formation that Arteta used, it certainly made it difficult for Manchester City to take an accurate kick because Arsenal's defense was strong and sturdy and with the presence of De Bruyne. but Arsenal's defensive strength is still difficult to break down and this proves that Arsenal is a strong team.

However, judging from Arsenal's first meeting this season with Manchester City, at that time Manchester City lost with a score of 1-0 and in this second meeting it was a real shame that Manchester City failed to win against Arsenal.

Yes, Liverpool was very lucky with the result of Manchester City's match against Arsenal with a score of 0-0, of course this made Liverpool happy to be at the top of the standings.
I think Liverpool has great potential to become champion as long as they consistently win because Manchester City, Arsenal and Liverpool have compete 29 times.

Liverpool in the upcoming match will be against Sheff Utd. I think this match will have the potential to be won by Liverpool. but I think what will be an obstacle for Liverpool to win is Manchester United because in Liverpool's last match against Manchester United Liverpool lost with a score of 4-3 in the FA Cup.

The odds changed a lot after the results of Liverpool, ManCity and Arsenal. Previously ManCity was on top before with 2.2 if I remember it correctly and now they are on 2nd position with odds 3, Liverpool take the favorite position with odds 2.25 while Arsenal on the 3rd with odds 3.75.

Looking at the fixtures of these 3 top teams in EPL, ManCity seems to be the one with easiest remaining matches while the other two seems to be having harder remaining matches. Who will lift the trophy is still unpredictable because these 3 teams has equal chance imho.
The right to decide the championship was ceded to Liverpool after a dramatic draw between Arsenal and Mancity. I am sure that this is a result that both teams did not want, they tied themselves up so that Liverpool could surpass them. Obviously, any neutral fan will place the highest bet on Liverpool when the direct confrontations are gone. Liverpool's remaining job is to maintain form and not drop points in the remaining matches. The championship door is increasingly opening for Liverpool. However, Liverpool cannot be subjective because compared to Mancity and Arsenal, it seems they will have some difficult matches with ManU, Tottenham and Aston Villa. This year's race is really exciting and it is quite difficult to predict the championship position

So my beloved Reds go clear at the top of the table. I was delighted that Man City vs Arsenal was a draw, both dropped points which was perfect for Liverpool.
~snip~
That's a loss for both clubs and very profitable for Liverpool. An incredible game for Arsenal as they just waited without much possession. In fact it was very boring to see Arsenal park maybe 4 buses. But this strategy successfully made Arsenal bring 1 point. Gabriel and Saliba managed to ruin Haaland's game. Haaland could not move freely, in fact he did not seem to have much contribution in this match. The Man City players were frustrated by 4 buses parked in front of the goal. LOL

True and that's really boring game. To be honest, he game against chelsea sometimes was quite attractive even though chelsea was playing like shit this time. It's caused by both of clubs are always going fully attack unlike this time the big clubs are mostly playing safely without even try to take the bigger risk to score.
I must admit that if majority of big clubs these days are very boring. This is also happening in another league like la liga too when the big match looked like even unattractive compared matches between mediocre club. Im concerning this caused by i have seen it many times the big clubs who were always playing wait and attack.
It feels like that if it's very long to wait the match to end caused by waiting for the team to attack is very long. Many people are also feeling the same and it cna be seen from the statistics of game.

Manchester city was also playing passively in this game. I was only seeing two clubs who have been waiting each other to attacks then it can counter it. I don't really like this kind of game especially when it was always waiting the ball to go upfront.
This passive game is only making me feel unsatatisfied with it. Im sure that if many people are also feeling the same like me. Things are not going so well for city in this game.
Even haaland got so many criticism after he was not playing so good in the game.

Every series has an end. Manchester City may have had a good run, but it's no surprise that it ended against Arsenal. Arsenal are proving how good their defense is by finishing important games with a clean sheet this year. Arteta made it his priority not to concede a goal and he did it. If they had scored they would have gone home with 3 points but this result is certainly not bad for them. Arsenal can take over the lead if Liverpool falters in one of their next games. At the moment all three teams have very close chances.
We watch closely how these elite teams have been up and running perhaps they also have their downtime this season, its sparkling. The English premier League becomes more interesting watching these elite teams competing for the title. Jurgen Klopp and Pep Guardiola are the main threats for Mikel Arteta this season, he always have opponents to compete with and there's more to accomplish for Gunners this season. Arsenal headcoach, Mikel Arteta will bring on the best performance from his squad this season.

I was so shocked with Arsenal's defense because I haven't seen Arsenal build such a solid defense for a very long time now but they did it at Etihad stadium, for some reasons Arsenal deserves kudos in the match against City because winning City at Emirate stadium and coming to draw them at Etihad stadium is really a good one for Arsenal.

Sure Liverpool too advantage of the draw between Manchester City and Arsenal, although the game between Liverpool and Brighton was not an easy one for Liverpool but they managed to sail through, just hope they maintain this opportunity of topping the league table once again and they should take advantage of it and win the league title.

I hoped that City could beat Arsenal, they were much closer to win than Arsenal. I didn’t expect such a game from Arteta, I hoped that the match would be productive, but he chose to defend. City often have to play with teams, that play the entire match on the defensive, they are not used to this, and the fact that they cannot score a goal for the second match in a row is also unexpected. A team that wants to become a champion must be able to play against any opponents, both attacking and defending.
Arsenal played a defensive game in the match, which made the match kind of boring, the match wasn’t really interesting to me, Arsenal was just playing a defensive game, and Manchester City keeps on mounting pressure on them, if Arsenal played attacking game, they might be lucky to win the match, because they had some great opportunities even as they played a defensive game in the match. From Arsenal pattern of play, it is obvious that they didn’t went for a win in the match, because they used all their players to defend, all they wanted in the match was a draw, and they got it, but they are now back to second position, which will be kind of difficult to get to the first position again.
Arsenal had it well planned to have a defense football against Manchester City. Any team up against Manchester City at their home will be more cautious of their defensive side, not to come out fully for an attack to challenge Manchester City on who owns the match possession because doing that will result in Manchester City winning the match completely.

I am beginning to suspect that clubs in the Premier League are learning how they can be able to defend and stop Manchester City from winning them easily. By next season or so, let us not be surprised when other teams take the Premier League lead

Exactly, Arsenal really relied more on their defense in this match. Their target means actually preventing Man City from scoring goals.
The reason is that both teams played more carefully and did not want to take risks because for both teams in this match it was important not to lose points. That's why this match looks a little boring, different from Liverpool versus Man City where the match is definitely an attack on each other. In this match, it was clear that Arsenal were really defending and only relying on counter attacks, but what I applaud is that this tactic was effective in holding Man City to a draw at the Etihad, and from the last few meetings, they managed to hold Man City to a draw. Haaland really couldn't do anything in front of defenders SAliba and Gabriel.

It's a shame that Arteta doesn't want to play openly in this match, even though his players are not strong enough to play long balls like Liverpool. So it can be concluded that they were really aiming for a draw in this match, but in the end Liverpool benefited from this draw because they succeeded in taking first place from Arsenal.

With the way Arsenal played in this match, a draw shouldn’t have been a surprise for them in this match, if they wanted a win in this match, they could have played better but overall the both team’s performance were not that bad. The match was actually intense and both team took possession of the games at some points and that is why they counter attacks and defensive mindsets were all levelled in the match.

The draw in this match has actually made the fight for the league winner more difficult to predict. With the way the three top teams are playing in the league, the league winner can only be decided on the last day match of the premier league this season.

On the final day match, the trophy will be up flying and waiting for the final whistle in order to decide which stadium to take the trophy to. Those moments will be truly memorable. This is one of the most competitive premier league season I’ve come across we in a while now.

Arsenal defense was just too strong and Manchester City couldn’t Penetrate it, all their effort to break Arsenal defense failed. Arsenal were trying to make use of counter attack, but they also failed, they were able to create few chances, but they couldn’t convert any of those chances into goal. The way the match went, if Arsenal tried to attack in the match, it won’t really be an easy one for them, because Manchester city might end up scoring in the match. Manchester City did everything possible to score in the match, but Arsenal defense was just too strong for them to break.

But, even though they are quite defensive, Arsenal's shots on target are actually more compared to Man City.
Because they were playing counter attack, and since they were playing defensive game, it was really difficult for Manchester City to get ball to Arsenal goalkeeper, they block most shots before getting to the goal keeper.

And Draw could be Arsenal's worst target for this match.
If Arsenal didn’t want draw in the match, then they won’t have played a defensive game in the match, I think their target was just to play draw in the match.

Nothing gives me goosebumps this week like the way Arsenal were able to hold Manchester City, now that the have successful draw one of the deadliest team in the Premier League, what happened next after this? Will they lose to a minor team after these or they will lose to teams that are not worth losing to? My challenge is what is really going to happen next, if we remove Chelsea and Manchester united from the remaining features that Arsenal have this season that might be tough, I don't think there is much work unless they would want to fumble as usual.

Not going to lie, Manchester City are gradually losing this fight, they look good physically but the hype around them isn't working, I have more faith in Liverpool to win this league than for Manchester City to win this time around, they have even tried they should give Arsenal a place to feel at home with the Premier League title.

Guardiola was so pissed about gunners defence line at a point he wanted to break it aggressively. Arteta played the game quite well since he counted a lot on his defence to not receive any goal while trying his luck in counterattacks.
That result was the least damaging one for both teams but definitely it helped Klopp a lot since Liverpool and after winning yesterday's game against Brighton and Albion Hove has become the first with 2 goals above of Arsenal and 3 points away from Manchester City

I guessed we can say Arteta really went for the best strategy, the match wasn't any kind of match they could risk losing and they know if City was given space at the defense it will really not tell we'll since both team were looking for a win or at least a draw while the draw is what Liverpool really wanted.
IMO, Arteta has applied the right strategy in the match against Man City. In that match, Man City only got 1 shot on target and the total shots was 12 shots only. It was not like the stats of Man City attacking in the usual matches. It indicated that Arteta succeeded to make Man City attackers have very limited chance for scoring goals. A draw result was a good result for Arsenal, they could stay in 2nd place at least. It will never be easy to steal points at Man City home, so the draw result is enough for Arsenal.

Let's see how the remaining games goes though Arsenal has more tougher fixtures remaining than City  and Liverpool with fixtures including Chelsea and Man United though Liverpool still have Man united while the 3 has Spurs in their coming fixtures
In the remaining matches, Arsenal still have some big matches. Arsenal will play against Aston Villa, Chelsea, Tottenham, and Man United. It won't be easy for Arsenal to keep getting full points (3 points) in each remaining match. However, they can make best effort to ensure getting the best results. Basically, I think Arsenal is much better from those teams. Although it won't be easy to win against them but there is surely a chance to win.
