If they actually manage to squeeze out a win in the first match when no one believed them, then they can actually do it again and one thing I know about football is that you can never be too certain to rule out any team and besides they have had their fair share of spoils and also the good times and although it seems impossible but their is small hope that they can replicate same result when they are on their stride.

City's boss Pep is one good coach that has good foresight. His style of play, choice of players and combination of squad makes City formidable in all their displays. City themselves has a lot to offer in football, they're one team that are tough to encounter, this is because of Pep. How best can a team be with 3 different squads that are too good to face any rival. Even the youngsters are doing far better than old big Dawgs in other teams. The best thing that's ever happened to Manchester City is Pep Guardiola. Sometimes one would wonder if he'd be able to do these exploits with a different team, the answer is yes. We've seen his works in the clubs he's been before City and we've seen that he's the right man for any club's managerial position.

 Liverpool on the other hand has experienced a push ahead in their stance since Klopp joined the team. They have been impactful in all areas of contests they find themselves. They've pulled through series of finals and have lifted a number of trophies too. The manager has been a positive addition to them and it's understandable if the club can't let go of him yet. This season, he's aimed for a number of trophies too, first when they took on Chelsea in the EFL finals, definitely the boss was charged to win again.

 The European contests too is there. He's been able to put the team in the spotlight which they need to excel. The players he's worked with are definitely improving in their abilities too. Just like Pep in City, Klopp is been a savior to Liverpool and they'd definitely have to get to some greater heights before he exits the team soon. Regardless of the team's conditions, these top two teams have been able to stay in shape, giving themselves tough encounters at every time they meet. It's a much anticipated encounter when these teams face each other for the second leg game this season in the EPL. It'll be difficult to predict the game outcome because they're tough opponents, but fairly, it's certain that there'd be inflow of goals in the game.

Sometimes things like this make it increasingly difficult for Manchester United to shorten the point difference and I quite agree with your statement above that Manchester United has only a small chance of being able to overtake Aston Villa. However, Manchester United is actually in a trend that is not that bad and they could jump further up to disrupt the competition for the top four.

On the other hand, even though Aston Villa is quite comfortable, Spurs also always take advantage of the situation if Aston Villa experiences a deadlock. Of course, Aston Villa will not always be calm with such a difference and for them, not only Manchester United but Spurs will also put pressure on them in the remaining matches this season. So Unai Emery has to be really careful considering that the competition in the English Premier League is so competitive and even at the end of the season the difference is very thin to determine that.

Of course it is difficult for Manchester United to finish in the Champions League zone this season, but that does not mean it is impossible. Tottenham's performance is currently inconsistent and if Manchester United manages to take advantage of that, then I'm sure Ten Hag can realize his plans to return to the Champions League next season. Of course it is not easy to keep winning matches every week, I admit it is difficult, especially when Manchester United meets tough opponents like Chelsea, Liverpool, Newcastle and Arsenal.

Ten Hag needs to try as hard as possible to win every point from all the matches in the remaining season, even if they have to lose some tough matches but Manchester United must take advantage of other opportunities to get ahead of Tottenham. So far Tottenham and Aston Villa are not safe in the Champions League zone, so I think there is still a chance to complete that plan this season.

I'm believing arsenal to win that match against Manchester city, of course the game will always be at the spotlight because of the current race for the top stop of the league table, I remember something of these nature last season that arsenal played Manchester city and they lost that game, that win against arsenal actually paved the way for Manchester city to take the lead and eventually they won the title, so for this season I don't want history to repeat itself again. The match is going to be a fierce battle between both teams but however I'm hoping come Sunday, that arsenal will go to Etihad and not comeback empty hand.

Manchester United were closed to making a great come back to the top of the league but some how, their performance decline and now they can't even make it to the top 4. Even the Europa League, if care is not taking, they might not end in the first division of the Europa but will end in the Europa conference league. This is too much to see such a wonderful club in bit perhaps they can redeem their self the way Liverpool is doing right now, they went to Europa and kill it and also standing strong among the top guys in the Premier League.


They used that loses to get back at Everton and played well in the FA cup with Liverpool. Manchester United remaining matches are just going to be another journey of win and loss because that features are not something I expect them to win easily. Their last match is should be an inspiration but then it happen at the old Trafford, I don't think I have much expectations from this club again.

The reason why Manchester United is inconsistent is because many of their players are injured, making it difficult for coaches to rotating players. Manchester United's defensive line was really inconsistent because they had to lose several important players in the squad. Manchester United and Tottenham will fight to finish in fourth place but they must chase points from Aston Villa.
Tottenham has the opportunity to catch up because currently they are only three points behind Aston Villa, while Manchester United has a slightly further distance, so it will be quite difficult for them to qualify for the Champions League zone.

Manchester United are not consistent in their performance and Aston Villa manager really mean the Champions league zone and they will do anything to get that ticket, am even surprised when you are taking of Manchester United what about Tottenham Hotspur that are closer in time of getting the tickets, i don't see any hope for Manchester United for securing that position, they are six points away from that place, if Manchester United play their 29th match and win the point will reduce to three points and if Tottenham win too and have many goals they will have the same point and also take that position because of the goals different, right now i will say fourth place is  for three teams which are Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester United, let see who win it finally.

Yes, that's right, speeding up the league to finish earlier or earlier than usual might be a good way. After all, even if the league is finished quickly or still applies a break schedule like this and playing in the national team the result is the same, the selected players will continue to play and this doesn't seem to make any difference. Because of course, if a player suffers an injury while playing for the national team then of course this will really be detrimental to their club too. Therefore, it seems like the right idea to make a schedule such as speeding up the league to finish first and then focusing on the national team matches, and I think this will both produce benefits for their business too.

To be honest, Manchester United will suffer a great deal from their match against Liverpool. While the team's home ground will host the next game, I know that Manchester United's poor performance and inability to stay consistent will make it very difficult for them to win. Everyone, given how poorly Manchester United played this season, I don't think they will be able to dominate anything positive again because the season has already progressed so far, and they never seem to learn from their mistakes. They should go ahead and get ready for the upcoming season, in my opinion. Maybe they'll be lucky enough to rule the league.

Even if Nottingham had not been deducted 4 points, Everton would not have been in the relegation zone since Luton would have dropped there. Plus, Everton has a game in hand, and although for an outsider this is not at all like a game in hand for teams from the top, it is still at least one point on average.
In general, another confirmation that the rules exist for the poor/weak. Everyone is waiting for decisions on City and Chelsea, but for some reason those processes last for years and lead to nothing.

Nottingham Forest was a little luckier than Everton when they only got a 4-point deduction after committing 1 financial foul, in contrast to Everton who actually got a 6-point deduction penalty that made them enter the relegation zone, but fortunately at this time Everton began to bounce back and even managed to get out of the relegation zone,  Currently Nottingham Forest are also following Everton's footsteps by appealing and if their appeal is accepted then automatically they will climb back up from relegation zone in premier league standing.

What you say is true, all teams should have the awareness to obey every rule that has been made for the good of each club, indeed punishment for violations committed by Everton and Nottingham Forest is natural so at least it can be a lesson for other teams not to make the same mistake, yes punishment based on investigation of course we cannot refute,  But I was surprised when Manchester City didn't get penalized after they had 105 violations at the moment in the league, and it even seems like the Premier League financial authorities are not doing a thorough investigation into all these violations.

Actually, I agree with you that there are big threats for Manchester United and Manchester United seems a little vulnerable because Eric Tan Heg could not provide enough stability in his team. If they want to move to the fourth place, they must first leave Totthenam and then Aston Villa behind, and Aston Villa has created a very convenient gap to maintain the current points position.

Also, Manchester United has a problem some injured problem: their left-back players are injured.

Honestly all of these injuries during the national break gives me a lot of headache. If it was a serious cup game, like even if it was qualifying games then I would sort of understand because it means something for the nation, and all the more important ones are at summer so they are fine, even if injured players do recover during the season itself.

However, middle of the season national friendly game is something I would never understand, not only it means nothing but also it gives people a break from the regular season game for no reason at all, makes no sense. Let them have the league games during these times and then end the season a little early. Season is usually over by June anyway, so have friendly games at June as much as you want and the cup was at July I think, so people would have a lot of time.

Personally I don't think Manchester United have any chance of finishing in the top four of the points table. Arsenal, City and Liverpool are sure to be in the top three of the table. Aston Villa, Tottenham and Manchester United are currently fighting for fourth place in the table. But among these three teams, Manchester United is now the most behind. Aston Villa and Tottenham are now in a good enough position to finish in the top four of the table.



Manchester United team is now 9 points behind Aston Villa. However, Manchester United may have a slim chance of finishing in the top four if United's overall performance remains stable. But Manchester United's performance is still weak and erratic. Manchester United have lost two of their last three matches. Such an erratic performance will not be able to close the gap of 9 points with Aston Villa.

The won against Liverpool is obviously boosting United's performance. It can win against Coventry, a weak club in the upcoming game. Manchester City and Chelsea, must have faced each other in the FA Cup.
Liverpool is now the most favorite contender to win the EPL this season, and United defeated one of the strongest teams in the EPL. It should be noted that the most important thing is that United won against Liverpool when the Reds were at their peak performance. It could be argued that United won against Liverpool's best form this time and it's one of big achievement by untied to kick liverpool out from FA cup.
To break into the top four, MU must win their upcoming games consistently, but since the match is getting even less, it's hard for MU to make it happen.

Man United chances are very low of reaching the top four of the standings and finishing there when the season ends. It is indeed too late for Man United to realize their ambition of finishing in the top four of the standings. Defeat by Fulham at Old Trafford in week 26, then continuing to be defeated by Man City in week 27, marks Man United chances of reaching the League Champions zone has finished. It's true that the difference in points is still very likely to be reduced, but I haven't seen any signs of a significant improvement in performance within the Ten Hag squad. The victory over Liverpool in the FA Cup cannot be used as a complete reference for Man United next match.

Aston Villah have had a very exciting start to the season and are at the top of the points table. However, their game changed and they were unable to cope with the attacks of Liverpool, Arsenal and Manchester City after that, which is why they currently sit fourth in the Premier League.
However, most of the speculation this season is only about the top three teams with all three teams very much in contention for the title. And Arsenal, Liverpool and Man City are three strong teams and they are very excited to fight for the title. As Arsenal and Manchester City are two teams that have qualified for the Champions League and they will definitely focus a lot on their opponents to win.
And if these two teams focus on the Champions League, they will certainly not have much attraction towards the Premier League. And if any of the teams between Arsenal and Manchester City lose the match in the Champions League, then surely they will focus more on the Premier League later.  In that case we can say which team will win the premier league title this season it is difficult to say only time will wait which team will win the title.

Having 4 points deducted from a struggling teams like Nottingham Forest and Everton is a big deal. It's best that every team respect the rules for the good of the league. You don't go about breaking the rules and think that nothing will happen. This will serve as a lesson to every other clubs to respect the rules and operate within the established standard. If the league authority keep quiet and do nothing more teams will follow suit and this might lead to collapse of the league and that's not good. I believe before the points were deducted, proper investigations were carried out, so any of the clubs that's not happy with the judgement still have room to appeal the judgement. Everton and Nottingham Forest can still survive relegation because the points deducted aren't too much.

You are absolutely correct Liverpool played excellently well against Man Utd in their last FA cup match unfortunately the team was very unlucky after series of missed chances and dominated possessions, from my own point of view Man Utd hasn't play any spectacular game that day but they were just lucky  and I doubt if they would make top 4 in the league due to their inconsistency in their performance, meanwhile their next fixtures are against Brentford away, away to Chelsea and home against Liverpool these are matches I can't vouch for Man Utd to win all those three matches unless they can spring a surprise of which I don't think it's possible going by their present form.
