Actually to me, this Chelsea team is not that bad, just that the team is filled with under 21 players which is a problem when they are mostly playing against an experience team, though I believe that with time, they will grow and blend more with each other, but it's going to take them time, like 3 to 4 seasons before they might even get into the champions league position, because this Chelsea team am seeing so, have a very long way to go in terms of raising the standard back to the level of their glory days.
And as for mudrik, I just think it's a matter of confidence, the guy is struggling with confidence due to the pressure placed on him when playing for Chelsea, but when playing for Ukraine, he plays freely because he is the star player there, and their is no pressure on him to deliver, so that just the difference, he doesn't just know how to cope with pressure of playing for a bigger team.
After all, players under 21 years old are not problem for team to develop well, just look at the many football team that are actually targeting several players aged 17 to 20 years old so they can have good performance and can be made into great players.
Moreover, there is no reason whatsoever regarding age and Chelsea does not have all the players under the age of 21 and there are also many Chelsea players of mature age, they can be strong team with the players they have.
I see that Chelsea have many potential players and have very good playing skills but the coach cannot utilize them all well and prove that they are solid and strong squad, clearly this is the coach failure in building Chelsea strength.
I believe that if Chelsea can get the right coach then they will be able to become big and strong team like they were few years ago.
It is clear that Mudryk performance when playing for Ukraine and as Chelsea player will be very different, with Ukraine he gets lot of support and can also understand every condition on the pitch.
Mudryk doesn't look comfortable with Chelsea playing style set by the coach and this is the reason the differences can be so significant, but he is also core player for Chelsea.
