It surprised me to see the first goal from van dijk was being annulled caused by it was offside but van dijk paid it at the extra time. Chelsea has no player who can protect the club from his heading. I meant that if van dijl was always able leaving from the guard to get free space to heading the ball.
This is also giving very bad impact to the chelsea. Glad to see liverpool was winning the game like what i have predicted before. Chelsea played defensively and this was making liverpool struggle to beat it. I thought that the game will continue to the penalty but van dijk becomes a hero for the club.
It was so bad to see chelsea loses in the final but the lcub was deserved it caused by there was no good defenders who was able fight one on one against van dijk. This must become the main correction for chelsea caused by the club must be also having someone who is proper enough in doing one on one in the air.
Pochettino must be learning a lot from this. I don't know why but chelsea missed a lot of opportunities to win the game. Pochettino once again kills the club through his garbage subs. It's another disaster for the club.
It means chelsea was not ready yet in winning the competition caused by it has no good player who can heading the ball properly.

Congratulations to Liverpool for winning the English League Cup despite having some of their best players ruled out of the tie as a result of injuries. The cup win has handed Liverpool their first trophy of the season and I think will serve as a morale booster for their quest to win as many trophies as possible this season. Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be leaving the club at the end of the season and is trying to sure he leaves on a high by winning few other major trophies this season that'll serve as his farewell gift to the club fans and management. However I don't think Liverpool's manager Jurgen Klopp will achieve his aims if they continue to play like they did against Chelsea in the Carabao Cup final.

Chelsea were undoubtedly the better side on the pitch and should've won the game in normal is they had utilized their chances in that game but I was shocked despite Chelsea's dominance in the game, they ended up losing to Liverpool in a game they needed to win to ease the pressure on their manager Mauricio Pochentino. Pochentino who started to manage Chelsea after the end of last season have failed to live up to the expectations of the club fans and team's defeat in the Carabao Cup final will further increase the pressure on him to improve the team or be forced to leave

Klopp has started seeing a good end, he has won a trophy before the end of the season, he may get good ending with some special recognition based on performance especially if he win the Premier League this season which is the best battle so far Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City are all in the title race .

Arsenal is good and are willing to make some corrections this season, they can surprise us by making it to the victory at their; while Manchester City will also wants to increase their Premier League winning record.

Celebration goes to Liverpool today, it was not easy but they did it. After today's final, Liverpool will continue to beat Chelsea each time they meets. Jurgen Klopp is classified among those experience coaches that knows how to play the Blues. Couldn't celebrate my opponents lifting the Carabao cup because I was upset full-time. The Blues have failed to make good use of the chances created, they couldn't grab the best results after witnessing it live. Liverpool have shown great performance in the EFL since and this will be like the 4th time that they are meeting with Chelsea but anytime they will have the opportunity to meet Chelsea, they will beat them in the finals.

This was expected by me and I was more sure of Liverpool winning and less sure of Chelsea winning but in the end, the giant Reds showed their capacity and prowess even though Chelsea had chances to capitalize on the injury crisis of the Reds but let's celebrate those who deserve being celebrated.

Even though I am disappointed that Chelsea could not win the EFL Cup, I was somewhat impressed with their performance because they are starting to play better than they did previously. Their main issue is that they have poor finishing. They create excellent opportunities for themselves to score, thus they misuse the opportunity to score goals. If they could work on their finishing problem, they will win big and small matches comfortably.

Pochettino has advanced the performance of Chelsea team to be much better in recent times. Calling for his sack won't let Chelsea's hard luck stop them from losing big games.
To me, Chelsea is progressively becoming a formidable team; at least, they did not concede more goals than they were previously known for. That's an improvement no matter how you viewed it.

You are right, Klopp didn't have many options to play in the second half and some of them were second tier players who are rarely used in the Premier League and other competitions. However, a great thing happened, Klopp and Liverpool managed to win the match and managed to avoid a penalty shootout. If Chelsea and Liverpool reach the penalty round, then I think both of them have a 50:50 chance of winning.

So congratulations to Jurgen Klopp, congratulations to Liverpool and congratulations to all the fans who support. I know they were all frustrated throughout the game and Klopp seemed resigned to everything that was going to happen, but Van Djik really turned everything into a celebration.

Actually the match was very interesting to watch, and like you said it was indeed a narrow escape for Liverpool because they ended full-time with a go less draw and it was the extra time they manage to beat Chelsea and the trophy, although if not for the performance of Chelsea whenever they meet stronger teams Liverpool would have easily win them because Liverpool performance is far more better than Chelsea, however congratulations to Liverpool for there victory on today's match, also I believe that after this wining there focus now will be mostly on the premier League because there chances are very high.

You speak the truth. Before Klopp, Liverpool was a pain to watch. Believe me, it was hard to be a Liverpool fan at the time because we were worse than Chelsea is right now. As for today's performance, if you have taken a look at Klopp's options both on field and the bench, you would know that it was very limited. Did you see the players klopp brought in the second half? Those are not first team players. Most of them haven't played up to 30 minutes in the EPL this season.

As for Liverpool's big collapse, we'd just have to wait and see. In the meantime, I enjoyed watching another Chelsea £220m disaster-class midfield. 

Lose to Liverpool B team is surprising. Before the game, I swiftly check the line-up for both sides and I was happy Chelsea would pound Liverpool because the keymen were absent, unknown to me that there's no room for underestimating actions. Talking about giving Mauricio Pochettino another extra one year to manage the club to see if he will bring difference. I keep saying it, there's no special thing about Mauricio Pochettino, he's just the same as others. Remember what happen to us when Todd Boehly decided to give Graham Potter more time to stay in Stamford Bridge. From today till tomorrow, I will keep saying it, Mauricio Pochettino is competent and can't not handle the club to be top level.

I'm ashamed to say this but Chelsea current performance is been  measurable to an mediocre team like Nottingham Forest. Meanwhile Jurgen Klopp success will keep thrilling over our heads because those top heads have refused to take the necessary decision. Perhaps sacking Mauricio Pochettino will not only sort out the problem of the club, rather there are other measures that ought to be reached. Chelsea is my favorite club but they always have a way of ruining someone's mood.

There are some matches that Chelsea were not supposed to lose this season, but to my greatest surprise, they lost some, and they played draw in some of those matches. Chelsea lost to some weak teams this season, which is kind of surprising. Some matches that Chelsea were supposed to use to accumulate more points, they wasted all those opportunities. That’s why they are currently stuck in the middle of the table. They are trying to climb up, but it’s just kind of difficult for them, and up till now, Chelsea is still inconsistent. They will perform well in some matches, and they will perform so poorly in some matches.

That’s just the problem Chelsea are always having. Chelsea do perform well in most of their matches, but they lack the ability to score in most of them. They waste most of the opportunities they have. If Chelsea can get strikers with more experience and are desperate to score, I'm sure their performance will improve, but if Chelsea can’t get better strikers, then I'm not expecting any improvement from Chelsea.

Even though you mentioned Liverpool B here, there is some truth in that, meaning several key Liverpool players missed this match due to injury. Yes, Chelsea couldn't take advantage of that situation because the Carabao Cup final was one of the opportunities they had to win a trophy but they failed to do so. For this reason, I think Pochettino has failed greatly in making Chelsea stronger this season.

If you want dismissal, it might come true. But I hope Chelsea management can be patient in the process of building a stronger squad and Pochettino does not have to be fired but he must be given support for the next 1 season in his performance as Chelsea coach. For Liverpool, they are certainly very happy today because they managed to become champions, so their next focus is to perform better in the Premier League and also focus on the European League.

Most teams can't avoid conceding a lot of goals from Arsenal, including the leader Liverpool. If they had played the current out of form City I think there is a good chance they would have ended their home streak. Arsenal's goal scoring percentage from set-pieces has gone through the roof in the last few weeks. They score at least one goal from set-pieces every game. And this makes it easy for them. It is admirable how quickly Arsenal recovered mentally and physically after losing to Porto in the CL with a last minute goal. Arsenal has a much less fragile and alternative squad this year compared to last year. "This year could be the year".

Actually for this match I am not too disappointed, it's just a little regrettable that they had to concede the ball in the last 2 minutes of extra time because if in the end they could hold it until the penalty then there could be a different result in this match.
But Chelsea have fought as much as they can and I think that also needs to be appreciated because they tried their best even though they were wrong and there is no need to be disappointed either because seeing their opponent is Liverpool then we must be aware that Chelsea's chance to become champions is definitely less when compared to Liverpool.

Both clubs played very well in this match and it is not wrong if this is said to be an ideal final but the winner remains one and for this season it was Liverpool who managed to make Wembley rumble for the final this time.

I never expected Chelsea to even win Liverpool in the first place, so their lost is not a surprise to me. Having watched the performance of Pochetino since he took charge of Chelsea, nothing to write home about. And I either expect him to win this trophy, Kudos to Jürgen Klopp and Liverpool. I was even surprised to see that Chelsea held Liverpool to a goaless draw 90 minutes and even some minutes in the extra time played.

This was a great season for Klopp, he had won the title before leaving. Liverpool really had difficulty penetrating Chelsea's defense in that match, the same thing applies to Chelsea. Both teams had the same chance of winning the title, but in the end Chelsea had to accept defeat before the second half of extra time ended.

Virgil van Dijk was the hero of Liverpool's win in the EFL final, it was a great moment for him and he should be proud of that performance. The team didn't give up until the last minute, even Klopp had spent all his ammunition to increase the possibility of a goal, it worked.

It was a sad reality for Chelsea that night and even with all their attempt they never made any significant attempt that could have delivered them any goal in the match even though their ball position and chances were higher than that of Liverpool in the game,  although just as you said,  both the defence and attack was bad today because Liverpool squad put a lot of pressure on Chelsea's defence for long before eventually breaking through it to score that only game.

In general, one of the problems with Chelsea is the players,  the club need to bring in a lot of new hands that can enhance their chances of performing better in the future,  judging from Chelsea's predicament in the last few seasons, a lot needs to be fixed that could possibly position the club for a better outcome in the future.

At least the score is not bigger than before when the EPL continued but it is also a little difficult so regardless of being disappointed or not I think we must realize that Chelsea's conditions are not too supportive to be able to win the match so I think this result is likely to happen.
The unfortunate thing is that this match is the final and we know that this is the only Chelsea to get the trophy this season because they have closed opportunities in other competitions and when they lose in the final against Liverpool this time then it is certain that this season Chelsea will not get any trophy.

On the other hand, congratulations to Klopp for securing 1 trophy for his good achievement target in coaching Liverpool. This can be a good encouragement because after all, with the trophy they get now, they can indirectly be more enthusiastic in other competitions, especially for the EPL and Europa League, they still have a good chance.
