Competition in the EPL is getting hotter day by day. The reason is, the candidates who will compete to become champions in the EPL are not only Man City and Liverpool, but Arsenal will also be great competitors. The reason is that currently Arsenal has the same points as Man City. So in the next few weeks maybe these three clubs will compete very hotly. So in the next three weeks there could be changes in the top 3 EPL standings. Either Liverpool will be shifted from the top of the standings, or Man City will be shifted from second place, or Arsenal will be at the top of the standings. The point is that currently it is difficult to predict which club will lead in the EPL.

But I personally agree with @swogerino opinion. Even though Liverpool lost in the match against Arsenal, it looks like Liverpool won't be easy to beat in the future, especially this week. Because the opponent Liverpool will face this week will not be too difficult for Liverpool (Burnley). So even though Man City will also face a club that is ranked quite low in the EPL (Everton), and Man City has a big chance of winning. But most likely, the standings will remain the same for a while. Because next week, Liverpool and Man City have the opportunity to both win the match.



Apart from that, Klopp's decision to leave Liverpool this season will certainly have an impact on Liverpool players. But the impact may only be off the field. Man city were very much fabulous in their play, when the game kicked off and Brentford took the lead, I casually told my freind whom we were together that Brentford can not record a win over city and we nearly took it as a bet. Very shocking how Manchester city ended up in a 3 : 1 win, a hatrick from Foden, the game was actually a good one from City.

Manchester City beat their opponent 3-1 away from home and got 3 points.City, who are 2 points behind Liverpool despite missing 1 game, will have the chance to take the lead from Liverpool if they win that game as well.Thus, if they do not lose any more points, they can take the lead and take the psychological advantage, but the race is still not over. Let's say that 3-4 teams are still in the championship race.I don't know who will be the champion for sure because the point difference is small and every team has the potential to beat each other.The only thing I know is that there will be a good competition until the last week.

I was really delighted about Manchester City performance in yesterday's game. They dominated the entire game and gave Brentford little opportunity in that game. The Brentford goalie was really handy if not that scoreline would have been more than what it was in that game. If you noticed City has started the unbeaten run again which usually last till the end of the season. So when you say city has been a dominant team in EPL and stronger than others I agree with you.

Of course, I'm not sure if they are going to win the game and if you observe my previous comment, I used "if" which indicates that I'm not too certain that Manchester city will win but from the look of things, I don't see any team in the EPL now that are stronger than city. I'm not saying they can not be beaten because football sometimes is a game of wonders where an underdog team can shock the top teams but we can not also argue over City being a dominant team in EPL. Manchester City has been the dominant force in the Premier League in recent years by winning the title in four of the last five seasons.

City is not like Arsenal that relent at the crucial time of the league. There's every sign obvious that Manchester city will probably win the title again because Liverpool wasted an opportunity to increase the gap between them when they play against Arsenal and looseguard. City will definitely attempt to utilize every opportunity available to climb the top of that table.

Honestly I would have preferred Klopp to make the announcement of imminent departure towards the end of the season when Liverpool must have been ready to win the title though I respect his decision, however from my own point of view is that his sudden announcement of purported departure is already affecting the team by damping their morale which is affecting their  performance on the field recall Liverpool had always had an upper hand against Arsenal in all competition even in last month FA Cup they defeated the gunners but last weekend they became a shadow of former self infact could only register a single shot on goal that is unacceptable performance for a title contenders.

They are good now because they have their best players back and fit,and knowing fully well that the competition is becoming tough again,they need to get their mentality set again for the games ahead.Since Debruyne came back from injury,they haven't lost a game,and I'm seeing them continue to win games like this till the end of next month, because it is now a period when they always go 15-20 game unbeaten.
Arsenal won Liverpool on Sunday,and I just think that might be the beginning of Liverpool's downfall.They will drop down to Arsenal and City,while they will go back to sit at third.

Liverpool messed up their chances, that's not a direct form to be leading, now Jurgen Klopp have to compete with Pep Guardiola for the league title this season, a big fight to be won by either City or The Reds. Pep Guardiola have become one of the big names to upgrade the team's performance from mediocre to standard. They're feared by other clubs in the English Premier League. Manchester City will top the EPL table once again, this time they're coming with everything they could generate because winning becomes very easy.

That must be the odds for the Premier League winner.

The most important match for Liverpool and Mancity will happen next month, Liverpool will host Mancity on 10th March.
The winner from that match probably become the winner of Premier League in this season.

Before this defeat, people said Klopp did great job for Liverpool and helped them to stay at the first position. After only one defeat, their words changed and let's be fair with Klopp, give him time to finish this season then we can judge about his work in this season. Liverpool did not play too bad in the match with Arsenal but mistakes of two key defensive players, Van Dijk and Becker, changed the match for Arsenal.

In the match, Klopp did not use Darwin Nunez in a start squad and only sent this striker in after Liverpool got two conceded goals. Maybe Klopp saw that Nunez did not have good form recently and only planed to use this striker as substitution but not in a disadvantage situation like this. After this defeat, Liverpool see bigger pressure from Manchester City but they will have Salah return after his national duty is over.

Their attacking system will be on track with best players again and I believe they will be able to race with Liverpool and Arsenal in coming months.

There's nothing wrong with klopp's strategy. The current challenge lies in Klopp's ability to enhance his club's performance, hindered by the absence of crucial players from the team. I think that if this is still remain the amin problem that needs to be sorted out. There were not good players in the squad who can play as good as nunez and salah. This is making club is totally relying upon salah and nunez in attacking its opponent. it was a disaster when those players are injured like this time. It's caused by klopp didn't have someone who capable enough to be used as a striker in the squad. Look at how klopp was putting some players not in their actual positions.
Im sure this is greatly impacting the performance from the club. I see this a the problem that needs to be solved as soon as possible. I hope liverpool will able to find an excellent coach after klopp will leave at the end of season. Liverpoo will be having so many problems will come in the future.

Missing nunez has become the main problem caused by there was no player who capable to did counter attack.

From the look of what is happening currently in EPL, it is obvious that Manchester city will top the league again, after they lost the first position to Arsenal due to De Bruyne injury. Now that De Bruyne is back, they will take back what rightfully belongs to them. Liverpool is only there temporarily, because I know that Manchester city will win their outstanding match. Liverpool couldn't fight hard to remain on top, by allowing Arsenal to defeat them on Sunday. Foden is a player that we should watch out for in Manchester city because he is becoming more dangerous every day.

Are you sure, what if Manchester City is unable to win the remaining matches that have not been played? Something that hasn't been played yet can't confirm the result, maybe Manchester City will lose points in that match, of course Liverpool will still be in first place.
This is not a setting from FIFA, Manchester City has just won the Champions League. There will be additional match schedules that Manchester City have to play, such as having to appear in the Club World Cup which means they have to postpone their matches in the EPL.

The gameplay of manchester city is actually becoming even more structured. De bruyne was also consistently contributing in any game. This makes other club feel so scary when they must face manchester city. The quality of players owned by manchester city was far above compared to the its competitors. I meant that if this one is the most balanced team in the EPL right now. It doesn't even matter how hard its opponent was attacking liverpool and that will still useless. It's obvious that pep was trying to get his team to play from the club. Sometimes, i saw that as a high risk decision.
Building from the back sometimes can be a blunder for the club who can't handle the ball properly. The way manchester city was playing from the back is so persistently.

It's still next month and it's not something that needs to be discussed now. We are still having a lot of matches to go. City is on the way to lead the competition as soon as possible. I do like the way manchester city is trying to dominate the competition again.
Just give city some times and EPL trophy will be winning by city again soon. It doesn't even matter how hard the opponents were trynig to get EPL and it's all useless.

Yes Manchester City are the favorites especially now that almost the entire squad has recovered meaning they have great strength to maintain their points and can even move away from Liverpool if they don't lose, but it is still very difficult to say that because however other teams will definitely continue to chase their points.

I think with that period of matches the three teams will have the same schedule, but we will see who will be overwhelmed in this case.

After the humiliating defeat at home to Wolves, there was a polemic regarding Pochettino's future fate as Chelsea coach. Now a glimmer of hope has returned for Pochettino after the Chelsea owner still supports him to handle Chelsea this season. He expressed his joy after receiving confirmation of the news and hoped that he and the other Chelsea players could close this season with good results.
