What has Manchester City done, how is Brentford able to dominate the match with a score of 1-0. Pep Guardiola had to change his strategy in the second half, if he didn't want to lose points and lose momentum to take over the standings from Liverpool. There is still hope to turn things around, make a comeback as usual and beat Bretnford in an epic manner. I'm sure Pep Guardila will rotate players in the second half, and change his patterns to create more chances to score. If Manchester City loses or draws, many people lose their bets.

Brentford isn't dominating the game at all. It is obviously Manchester City that is in the driving seat in this game from the first minute onwards. But this is still not some amateurish league, it is the Premier League and I would argue that per se any of the clubs playing in this league would also be able to score a goal against any team.

Brentford has less than 30% ball possession and it is the standard game, Manchester City has the ball and creates chances, but if they don't score early and their opponent gets a chance and scores with a little bit of luck, the clock starts running against them. But this will be a very long game for Brentford to defend the lead as Manchester City can increase the pressure with every minute passing by. It is often a question of power in reserve and Manchester City knows how to deplete it and then they attack with perfect timing.

Liverpool is of course hoping for Manchester City to drop points here as that would allow Liverpool to get away with their loss quite cheaply, but since there is still more than one half to be played, I think that City will still win it.

Brentford have no chance to beat Manchester City this because just like i said above Manchester City was in the good conditions especially after some of their players are return to play again so certainly Manchester City will being an the winner of this match
There is no way for Brentford to beat Manchester city because, currently, Manchester city has good foam and especially in their absence, players which are now available for the match like Earling Haaland and Kevin De Bruyne, so in the presence of Kevin De Bruyne and Haaland there is a chance for Brentford to defeat a team like Manchester City. It is true that both teams have the same amount of goal margin against each other, which means Brentford have a strong defense and they don't easily let Manchester city to take the lead, but I think when KDB and Earling Haaland combine, surely they will will get the Brentford into defeat.

The match is kickoff, and I am just watching to see the KDB and Haaland effects.

Yeah, except that the combination of Haaland and De Bruyne hasn't produced any results so far. Even though Manchester are losing by 1 goal difference, they are pressing their opponents very hard and I'm surprised they are losing at the moment. I'm sure things will change in the second half, but the EPL is such a thing that a score in MC's favour may not happen, but it's definitely not something to be surprised about

Brentford have no chance to beat Manchester City this because just like i said above Manchester City was in the good conditions especially after some of their players are return to play again so certainly Manchester City will being an the winner of this match but i think Manchester City should beware of Ivan Toney because since return from his suspension Toney has scores 2 goals and for betting purposes Manchester City has low odds @1.37 but other option just like over 2.5 goals also good pick
Brentford strikes first in just 21 mins and have been able to repell all the City attacks so far Not the best start from City but they are still dominating the possession 70% and have had 7 shots on target but couldn't convert any. 50 mins of regular time remains. Let's see if Man City can turn it around.

It's been a while I noticed this formation Manchester city is playing with. Brentford is already leading but they should be very wary of any crosses that would come from the flanks, mostly those through pass by De Bruyne to find Haaland.
Many pundits would easily stake on Brentford to win this first half because they are trying so hard to keep the midfield play  from Mancity, out of their defense line.
Am seriously rooting for BrentFord's win tonight so as to give the Gunners a good chance to keep up the fight in their league pursuit.

The premier league is super interesting and loving!!!
Manchester city are down by a goal tonight against Brentford!!!

With the title race blown open again; do you think city will blow 3 points away tonight? Or will they come back from a goal down to win ?

Yesterday was a good day for Arsenal and their supporters, they had an encounter with Liverpool at Emirates stadium, where the Reds were beaten by 3:1 in a must win game for the gunners.Liverpool in the other hand knew the game was never going to be an easy one,but thought the game was going to end in a draw, however, the gunners showed their class  as they kept their tittle run alive. They are now behind league leaders Liverpool with two points, topping Manchester City with three points. If City should lose or draw their match against Brendfort tonight, then they might quite be behind the gunners, but if they should win, they might also be ahead of them.

After Liverpool's defeat, a great opportunity came to Pep Guardiola. They will finish this match with a good result in any way, that is, they will win. After Kevin De Bruyne returned, Manchester City's troubles have already passed. Kevin De Bruyne is like a cure for the team and his presence in the match today means a lot about the team's flow of play.

I'm sure Manchester City is more relieved that Brentford is worse than last season. At the given odds, it's actually not bad at all. City winning is a much easier choice, or even over 2.5 can be preferred for this match, for those who want to take a little more risk.

Liverpool plans didn't go as expected, this is not the coach expected it but Arsenal were well guided and play nicely, they also have a nice shorts on target multiple times than Liverpool, they did exactly how any team would have done if it was home match but I think Liverpool gave up in that match when they can still fight back but the way Konate receive additional card, everything became obvious that Liverpool are not winning these one but Arsenal will take these three point

Don't be too certain about Manchester City, It's not only Liverpool they will deals with but also Arsenal and eventually when they come to top up of the table, they will have to work extra harder to maintain it or even work hard to have them long gap between him and other teams.

Gnarcho has scored the second goal for Manchester united on the 49th minutes to give a good advantage to his team on winning the match, and also making it difficult for the visitors to put themselves back in the game. Gnarcho scored with a brilliant strike.
Yeah, the Argentine has found his rhythm and I believe if he continues like this, he'd become one of the best wingers Man UTD has but he needs to work on his attitude. Players like him get to become pompous and proud if they get to a certain level and since he's still relatively young, he'd need to have a level head so he can go far in his career.
Quote

I think that Manchester united have started taking their matches serious and I believe if they continue in this performance till the end of this season, they will possibly finish on top four. I see that their victory over Wolves is a motivation to them.

Man U 2-0 West H.
For me, it's still too early to conclude that about them. We know they have become one of many clubs in the Premier league good at rising and falling so it will be a big relief to their fans if they maintain this momentum. If anything, the fans have been through a lot of disappointing results so to still restore some form of confidence, they had better get their acts together, at least to help ensure that Erik ten Hag still has his job and they move up the ranks.

In a few hours the Brentford vs Manchester City match will start and the odds for Manchester City are 1.35 there is still hope of winning the odds are certainly worth betting on but a single bet would be better.

Halaand is starting now after being dropped for the second half in the previous match but this time he has fully recovered and will partner De Bruyne as a midfielder who is dangerous in providing forward passes especially Haaland.

We know Manchester City will continue to chase victory after they know Liverpool have lost to Arsenal so this is an opportunity where the difference in points for Manchester City.

I would say one of the main reasons for Liverpool's loss in this match was Mohammad Salah's absence from the squad. Had Salah been with the squad, the match would have been more competitive.

Since Salah was not in the squad. Naturally, Liverpool's attacking players were a little slow in their performance. And that's why Arsenal's players have plenty of attacking and counter-attacking opportunities. Had Salah been in Liverpool's squad, Arsenal might have played a bit more defensively and tried to counter Liverpool's attacks.
Despite the defeat in this match, Liverpool remain at the top of the table. If Liverpool can continue their winning streak in the upcoming matches, Liverpool have a chance to win the title.
Liverpool's defeat was unexpected, apparently Arsenal are not going to give up so easily. And the defeat of Liverpool gives City a theoretical chance to come out on top, since they have two games in hand, and if they can win them, they will top the standings. Today City will play with Brentford, for them the last two games with this opponent were not very successful, but this cannot continue forever and Brentford are now not strong enough to beat City, especially since Guardiola understands that his team cannot lose points now.

Sure no one saw Liverpool losing to Arsenal due to the fact that they are in-form and were hoping to still maintain the gap between them and the second club in the league table but I was analyzing the game that most Arsenal defeat to Liverpool is always when Mohammed Salah is being featured but since he hasn't returned from injury so I saw it as an advantage for Arsenal to win Liverpool, though for me Liverpool played better just that they missed most of their chances and Arsenal utilized their own chances and another thing that caused Liverpool's loss is due to poor defense like the defenders overlapped too much thereby granting Arsenal easy penetration to their defense and scored goals.

Liverpool losing to Arsenal at this critical stage of the league is very unfortunate because if Manchester city wins Brentford tonight and possibly win their outstanding match then they would surely claim the top of the league and any opportunity that Manchester city have now to reclaim the top of the league will peradventure give them an edge over the league title though the top four clubs are very up and doing as anyone of them might take over the top of the league table if others flops.
I knew Arsenal and Liverpool could be a tough game to watch because both clubs need points, but I predicted Arsenal to win against Liverpool because of their home advantage, and Arsenal would not want Liverpool to beat them yesterday; if not, they would lose hope of challenging for the Premier League title this season.

This is the closing match of the EPL and we are still being provided with exciting entertainment with the Brentford vs Manchester City match. In my opinion, the odds are quite small even if Manchester City plays away and I will increase the odds with a handicap bet. There is no doubt when it comes to Manchester City and it is certain that they will win. Pep Guardiola also seemed to get a golden opportunity with Liverpool's defeat yesterday and with this it will be easier for them to make up the difference. Seeing an assist from KDB then finished well by Haaland will be something rare this season and it looks like we can start to enjoy it through this match.

Brentford v Man City

Brentford — Flekken; Collins, Pinnock, Mee; Roerslev, Jensen, Nørgaard(C), Janelt, Reguilón; Toney, Maupay.

Man City — Ederson; Walker(C), Rúben Dias, Aké, Gvardiol; Rodri; Foden, Álvarez, De Bruyne, Bernardo Silva; Haaland.

Kevin De Bruyne and Erling Haaland start for ManCity for tonight match, this two clubs are meeting for the first time this season and they will be meeting twice this month, Brentford won Manchester City Last two meetings both home and away last season, today's win for Brentford is under probability because of their poor performance, their performance this season is worse than than the last season, they just had 21 matches, win 6, draw 4, and loses 11 matches, their last 5 match was just rubbish, win one and draw one and loses three compared to Machester City performance it's incredible since on 10th December Manchester City are performing very excellently even without some of their best player  especially now that they are back is going to be tough for any club that come their way.

Indeed Man United seems to be in a pretty good week. They were able to perform well. Remember when they were able to win after falling behind and the victory from West Ham was also convincing. I hope their performance continues to improve until the end of the season, so they can improve their ranking. But I'm worried about Martinez, there seems to be a problem with his knee. I hope he doesn't re-injure badly, because it looks like his knee was hit by a West Ham player's body.
You are right, Manchester United are in their best weeks. The team's performance is very good and they have big ambitions to win 3 points every match. After losing to Nottingham, Manchester United recovered with 2 consecutive wins and 1 draw against Tottenham. They won 7 points out of a total of 9 points contested in the last 3 matches, which is clearly good for opening up hopes of entering the European League zone.

But the bad news came from Lisandro Martinez. He has been declared injured and this has been confirmed by the team via its official website. Lisandro Martinez will be out for at least 8 weeks from now and that is not a good news for Ten Hag, Manchester United and all their fans.

Martinez's injury confirmed.

Quote
Lisandro Martinez has sustained an injury to the medial collateral ligament in his knee and is expected to be out of action for at least eight weeks.

The Argentine defender left the field in the 71st minute of our 3-0 win over West Ham United at Old Trafford on Sunday.

We all wish Licha a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him back on the pitch later in the season.

Mohammed Salah is always expected to score for Arsenal whenever he plays with them. Liverpool's unfortunate lack of Salah's participation in this critical match was due to injury. The match analysis I had for this game predicted a win for Liverpool or, at worst, a draw because they will be playing at the Emirates Stadium, which will give Arsenal more motivation to win the match.  I really liked how Arsenal played, and it has reignited their fight for the league's top spot; I just hope it is for the long term, rather than just this game or the next few. Arsenal had maintained that first position at some point in this season, but gave it away after they started performing poorly, I hope they’re back to their winning ways because many people thinks this will be their season to win the premier league after so many years of being without trophy.

There is nothing critical here, you don't expect Liverpool should visit Emirate stadium and then allow Arsenal to lose that easily, it will take a lot of hard work for them to concede and that's what happened in that match. Liverpool mistake made it worse and now what I'm afraid is the point margin that separate between Arsenal, Liverpool and Manchester City. The only way for Liverpool to avoid been displace from that standing is if they don't lose any games this season and Arsenal and Manchester City should lose, too hard to see.

The race for first place is once again extremely close, with only a few points separating all of the teams. To remain in the top standings and have a competitive advantage for the league title, you must win all of your matches and accumulate all of the points necessary to avoid being displaced by any team below you in the standings. This is where the league will get tougher as the top four teams clash frequently, determining the long-term position of the majority of them in the standings. The premier league competition is just getting more interesting once more after the performances of these teams recently.

Even if the season is still long, I fear that Liverpool will end up losing the decisive games against their direct rivals. In the last few games they have clearly dominated the worser teams like Norwich, but as soon as a team from the top 6 comes along, they oftentimes have serious difficulties. You saw that very well again against Arsenal. I wouldn't begrudge Liverpool the championship, but if ManCity don't slip up, it will become very, very difficult.

I don’t agree with your analysis because Liverpool has certainly been at their best even against bigger oppositions like the traditional top six teams. Against a rejuvenated Arsenal they came up with a tactics that didn’t work out although I expected Klopp to have reverted back to the normal high press and but he didn’t and Arsenal who should have had more capitalized on that.

Now to your question of them wining the weaker teams and not getting maximum points against the likes of Manchester city and Arsenal, i will say Liverpool actually have proven that they want to win the league with that. One thing I found interesting with the premier league is that you can simply win all games so instead of focusing on winning your arch rivals alone why not winning all small and middle teams and then later share spoils against the bigger ones. This way you will be able to narrow down the points. Manchester city had been doing this in past seasons and it has worked. You will see the likes of Manchester United beating them and they would still win the league way clear of them.

We can talk about a series of 4 wins in the last 5 matches for Manchester United. 1 match ended in a draw and that was in the match against Tottenham. There are improvements in their games. They also had away wins and home wins. Manchester are playing well and it looks like they will keep winning. They earned a clear victory against West Ham United. I'm sure a score like 3-0 made them happy.
Tottenham Hotspur was strong enough to hold down Manchester United, so the draw tie was considerable but Erik Ten Hag have to put more effort for good winnings. It's been a while to see the Red Devils winning with high scores and keeping cleansheets against a competitive club. The Old Trafford have become one of the solid ground for the Red Devils to continue thrashing their opponents. Manchester United have a comfortable win against Westham United. David Moyes was embarrassed not to earn three points on the Devils ground.

Liverpool played this games so well that I had so much hope on them but second half was flopped, Klopp allowed many mistakes that shouldn't have happened and he realized that but was confused with the situation when Konate was thrown out with a red card. Even from the ball pass accuracy, Liverpool were doing well but the didn't convert their potential, imagine they had just 1 short on target, that's poor game from Liverpool been the top of the team from the standing. I will call these fair since Liverpool didn't allow Arsenal to win their home, they also protected Emirate stadium yesterday which is cool.
