The top of the standings began to falter and their goal was shot by the London Cannon, a surprising match in the final minutes Liverpool lost control of their defense line. I applaud Arteta for continuing to encourage its players to focus on taking advantage of open opportunities. This result changes the London Cannon's record over the last 5 matches. Now the difference is only 1 point and Man City must thank Arsenal for clearing the road a little because they have 2 matches remaining. In my opinion Pep Guardiola doesn't need to bother getting his hands dirty to bring down Liverpool. Ok Arsenal are in second place but there is one more thing they need to be aware of Pep Guardiola troops have also returned to their full formation. After Arsenal lost their position as the league leaders some time late last year, they went on to lose few other games in the English Premier League and that made me to write them off as one of the serious contenders for the English Premier League title this season but after their convincing performance against the league leaders Liverpool yesterday at the Emirates stadium, I think I'm beginning to have a rethink of what Mikel Arteta's men can do in regards to winning the league title at the end of the current season.

Liverpool had already lost just one league game before the encounter against Arsenal yesterday but never have I seen Liverpool totally outclassed like what I saw yesterday and that goes a long way show how good the Arsenal team can be when they're playing in their full strength.
From every indication, the English Premier League title is now a three horse race between league leaders Liverpool, second placed Arsenal and third placed Manchester City but I'm still backing Liverpool to lift the title at the end of the season

Indeed, in that match we could see that Liverpool experienced a decline in their defense and the attack they built was also not as good as usual. But I'm sure this isn't a serious drop in performance. Because in passing accuracy we can see that Liverpool is still much better than Arsenal. It's just that Liverpool's defense made several mistakes which allowed Arsenal to score quite easily.

But if Liverpool don't make mistakes at the back then I think this match could end in a draw.

Missing some important players were affecting the club a lot. I remind you that liverpool was always winning by using counter attack strategy when salah and nunez was there caused by they fast and accurate. Things are changing a lot when they were not in the squad anymore.
This is greatly affecting the performance from the club. I do aware about how liverpool was struggling to score caused by there was no player who capable enough to run and does fast counter attack against arsenal. The main weakness from arsenal was facing a club that used defensive strategy but liverpool lack of player who can do that.

Nunez and salah were always fast and they were able running to the upfront in a short time. This is also the main reason liverpool was losing in this game. I know that if klopp may not put high expectation from this match caused by liverpool must be missing some important talents.
Liverpool can perform differently as long as salah and nunez were there but the club can only accept the fact that if liverpool was not the same as before. I do appreciate all of efforts being made by liverpool this time.

I hope that everything will be going even smoothly for manchester city to win the competition. Thanks arsenal. City is able leading the competition. How fast the change that happened in the squad.

In my opinion, Arsenal's victory against Liverpool was a very good revival for Arsenal because at that time they looked very down and lost many of their matches. If you look at last night's match against Liverpool, Arsenal's performance looked very good, maybe they will recover and be ready to compete again in the Premier League. Maybe with this victory I am sure Arsenal will maintain their performance and consistency in the next match. The reason is that they managed to occupy second place in the standings and of course Arsenal will continue to fight to win the next match until they occupy first place in the standings and maintain their victory while winning the league title this season.

I saw that Liverpool did not play as well as usual in this match. Even though previously they had also beaten Arsenal even without M. Salah in the FA Cup. But Arteta's troops really took revenge very well and managed to beat Liverpool in the right match, namely in the Premier League, which is much more important. It seems that the competition for the title this season is much more difficult than the previous season. Because it is possible that the top position will be swapped again with Arsenal or Manchester City in a few weeks. It depends on Liverpool's performance whether they can regain their advantage in the upcoming matches or not.

The game between Arsenal and Liverpool was full of surprises because personally the prediction was a difficult one for me but just 20 minutes in the game Arsenal was the only name on my mind as the team that will win the game because Liverpool was never in the game, the match waa one of worst appearance of the Liverpool team this season because from the starting of the game till the final whistle they appeared to be so unserious and unprepared for the game they only enjoyed ball possession but no meaningful goal attempts till full-time.

Hoping that Jurgen Kloop will fix the team as you said but I doubt if they can go all the way to still win the league as they are two points ahead of Arsenal and Manchester City has tow games in hand which will see them  ahead of Liverpool with two points if they win the two games and Liverpool will either need to step up their games or struggle to remain in top4.

Here is the weakness of Liverpool team but they worked hard enough to score goals, but opposite team Arsenal team's defenders and goalkeepers are so strong that they are able to resist the attacks easily. But in the whole match there were 10 Liverpool team attacks, but the Liverpool team attacks were at least simple. But the opponent team Arsenal they succeeded in 15 attacks and 3 of them. So this season Arsenal team has performed very well at the end even though Liverpool team is occupying the first place in the points table and Arsenal team is in the second place.

It would be wrong to say they didnt try because they did and it showed when they tried to pick up the pace to make things better for them in this match. But Liverpool's efforts were in a dead end because Arsenal played so well in this match that it was difficult for them to make a difference in terms of performance because Arsenal played better.
Liverpool's attack pattern was very easy to read in yesterday's match. In addition, Arsenal knew that Liverpool  were stuck on the wings so they tried to make some breakthroughs in midfield and the quick counterattacks proved successful when Liverpool played their rhythm Arsenal played patiently and immediately pressed when there was momentum.
Although I expected the game to be a draw, I am quite happy with my bet that got a return on both teams scoring.

This time Liverpool played frankly weak and even the goal they scored, in fact, was the result of mistakes of Arsenal players. The second half Liverpool failed completely and the substitutions did not help. Maybe they lacked Salah or some other factors, but Liverpool players had no desire to fight on the pitch yesterday. I can honestly accept that Arsenal is playing at their highest level right now because of the way they performed against Liverpool. Many people had doubts about Arsenal after their poor performance in past weeks, thinking that they had lost their winning ways and would never be able to recover to their previous level of play. I wasn't expecting Liverpool to lost to Arsenal 3:1 yesterday, since Liverpool have not lost in their previous ten Premier League games. Liverpool's defeated by Arsenal left the two points separated between the both club, at this moment Arsenal is capable of competing against any team in the Premier League for the title. In my opinion, Arsenal will move up to the top in the upcoming weeks.

Since this is Jurgen Klopp's final season with the team, I also considered it and believe he will do all in his power to win as many titles as possible this season before he quits. Liverpool finished the previous season empty handed, without raising any trophy. Klopp has been working really hard with his players, in order to ensure that his team wins at least two trophies this season,  Based on their current play, I think they can still accomplish that. 

For the top position, of course Liverpool and Manchester City are still favorite while Arsenal are still doubted there but they must be safe in the top 4 exactly the 3rd place, other struggles will occur in 4th and 5th place and today we have 4 teams to fight for it. I have added Manchester United and Tottenham as the main candidates there whereas West Ham has not shown an increase so far. Anyway there are many struggles for places in the Premier League this season, including the degradation position Everton and Luton must compete with each other to get out of the red zone.

I laughed when see he did that mistake, it's unbelievable.

After so many matches, Liverpool is now lose, this will give them slaps to play better and improve themselves. Arsenal is only 2 points behind Liverpool, the tile race will be more interesting.

In the end, the top positions will be filled by big clubs because they're more consistent.

I realize Manchester United play very well recently, there were many speculations Manchester United will get bad results just like Chelsea in the last season. But Manchester United now on 6th position!

Arsenal now have the experience and strength to play main opponents this season without shaking, Mikel Arteta taking everything that he thinks is suitable for the club, they enter the top race back and will do everything within their number to ensure things works out fine for them, after losing to Arsenal 3-1. There's numerous questions popping up and I don't think they would be able to maintain the consistent winning run for the EPL title. Jurgen Klopp is in his last tenure for the club, he can certainly manage fighting really hard to win major trophies before exiting Anfield for good.

In the Premier League match between Arsenal and Liverpool, Arsenal won the match 3-1 and moved to the 2nd place in the points table, while Liverpool lost a point. Although we have identified Liverpool as the strongest team in the season and they have won every match but against Arsenal they have lost the match and lost the points. However, now Arsenal and Liverpool will be playing a very competitive game. And the team that occupies a good position in the Premier League will definitely be the champion and if Liverpool cannot attack strongly in the next matches, Arsenal will definitely occupy their position. On the other hand, Manchester City are third in the points table and if they fight well and win the next few matches, they will definitely have a chance to grab the place at the end.

Allison did not perform well enough he failed and blundered with his second goal then the third goal also in my opinion it was a little mistake again from Allison because it was not anticipated properly, we know when Allison performs poorly then blunders are often what happens on the field.

If Manchester City win all the remaining matches then it will be 1 point difference with Liverpool then Arsenal behind will continue to trail it then Liverpool's position will clearly not be safe if they lose or draw in the next match, but we realize that Arsenal playing at home is always aggressive so Liverpool are a little overwhelmed.
This is Liverpool's second defeat but their next match will not be heavy enough, so it is likely that Liverpool can still stay in the current position.

It is true that Liverpool haven't made much effort even from the first half to the final minute obviously it's not Liverpool as we saw before, imagine in 90 minutes Liverpool only have 1 shot on target is this what is called a team at the top of the standings? we don't know what the problem is, but for sure Liverpool really played poorly and as you said they have to recover soon if they still want to compete for the Premier League title. There are still 15 more matches to fix it Jurgen Klopp also wants to give impressive memories to Liverpool before he leaves.

I only watched the match for about 20 minutes of the first half because I saw Liverpool's poor performance and it was very disappointing and it wasn't just Van Djik who played badly but Konate was also one of the few who played badly, quite sad the only goal they scored was the result of a goal Arsenal player mistake, their attacking system is very weak as well as their defense

In the next three matches, Liverpool must be able to get full points because their three opposing teams are relatively very weak, but they must not be careless with Brentford and Luton, especially Luton, it seems like they are on fire because they managed to score eight goals in two matches.
