Well are you surprised? It's no new thing that this club obviously needs an extraordinary force to actually move them back to their winning and former standard. The problem all started with their former owner leaving the club, well actually he was forced to sell it due to penalty given to all Vladimir Putin associates as punished for him not obeying the instructions and regulations of NATO and UN prior to the Russia and Ukrainian war massacre. Chelsea is just so inconsistent while Liverpool on the other hand is quite different.

Liverpool is now two goals ahead and they are very much deserving of every goal they had scored so far, looking at the performance of Liverpool and compare to what Chelsea has been doing since you will agree that Liverpool has been the better side so far, I wasn't expecting much from Chelsea aswell .

Chelsea hasn't been in a consistent form since this season so I somehow expected that such form or performance they have in recent time is not enough to contend Liverpool and hope to get a win because Liverpool in in their very good form recently and have been performing brilliantly in both the premier league and Europa which happens to be the two most challenging league they are playing this season, hopefully by the end of the second half, Liverpool will definitely have three points to add to that which they have already.

I don't think it is an exciting match because Liverpool played too dominant in the first half. Liverpool could make 15 shots, Chelsea only made 1 shots during the first half. Liverpool also won the ball possession quite convincingly. I don't see it is a big match, but it is like Liverpool against a mediocre team. Chelsea gets difficulty to attack Liverpool because they have no strong attackers. Chelsea can't rely on Palmer only, it is too easy for Man City defenders to focus on stopping 1 Chelsea attacker.

Now, I see Chelsea has changed some players. Mudryk and NkunKu have replaced Gallager and Madueke. I think it is a good change, I even think these players must be on the starting lineup. I don't know why Chelsea prefer to play more defensively during the first half. Now, it is not easy to equalize the score because Chelsea is conceded 2 goals.

You're right, Enzo Fernandez gets frustrated. He doesn't have good partners in the midfield line. Chelsea midfielders look to have bad quality, Caicedo still can't play as expected. Cry

it's half time in the game between Liverpool and Chelsea and I can say that Liverpool has had a better performance in every part of the game,they dominated in possession 56:44, corner kick 4:0, shots on goal 6:1. The pressure is too much for Chelsea who couldn't withstand it and it has led to 2 goals and a penalty kick that was missed by Darwin Nunez it would have been 3:0 in favour of Liverpool. The only surprising thing I can see is that Liverpool may likely get more goals in the second half if Chelsea coach doesn't work on their defense.

The reason why a big club like Chelsea cannot defend Liverpool to a draw is what I don't understand.Chelsea is totally a dead team compared to the Chelsea before when they used to be one of the strongest teams in Europe.They are giving Liverpool a free three points,and even if they will say it was a strong team that defeated them,it is bad that they will concede two goals in less than no time like that.With this win over Chelsea,it will be an added mumentum when they play against Arsenal next weakend,in a game Arsenal will termed a must win if they are to still have a chance in the premier league tittle,while Liverpool will make it a must win because they won't want Arsenal to win them and be in a position to snatch the tittle from their finger just like that.

I have no idea what is going on in the Premier League today, but this is quite exceptional. Aston Villa being two goals down in a spectacular way and Luton is destroying Brighton. This is probably two records at the same time or something. The highest win at home for Luton Town I guess and who knows where this game is heading, but it is certainly one of the most devastating defeats that Brighton had to swallow. If I had placed any bets this round, I would be totally lost by now. Even if it is still Newcastle, I didn't think they would take Aston Villa by storm in the first half.

But thats whats interesting because with some of the results that i think are unexpected such as the results of Brighton and Aston Villa this week prove that the EPL is not an easy place and once they get it wrong and determine the strategy in a match then it will definitely be very bad for the performance.

The first half of the English Premier League game between Liverpool and Chelsea is over and Liverpool have convincingly been the best team on the pitch tonight and I don't think the visitors have a chance of coming back into this game. Diogo Jota have simply been the best player on the pitch as he was the one who opened the scoreline after his energetic run into the 18 yard box of Chelsea.

Liverpool would have been three goals up before halftime if Darwin Nunez have converted from the spot but he failed to score after sending the goalkeeper the wrong way. It's a very entertaining match for Liverpool fans in the stands and hopefully, they're gonna get all three points from the game.

Diogo jota has been a terror in the Chelsea defence line, he has successfully replace M.sallah.
I don't think Chelsea will be able to pose a threat even in the second half of this game, because is as if Liverpool have conquered the entire midfield and mountain the pressure more on the Chelsea defenders especially in the goal mouth, a good example is the penalty awarded to Liverpool, though it was missed but hasn't changed the fact that Liverpool are in charge of these game. Tactically the Chelsea midfield and attacking force are not creating any impact on the game thereby making Liverpool play them half field, the ball is always on the side of Chelsea's end and is not good for the optics.
Mauricio pochettino needs to come up with the tactical idea on how to bounce back into this game because given the way things are, it not looking well for the blues.

Despite the fact the Darwin Nunez was unable to convert a penalty kick which is supposed to place the Liverpool side at the invincible mood. Liverpool had enjoyed consistency throughout the first half as against the unstable Chelsea side. Chelsea which has been playing as if they have began to return to the good old days is unlucky to meet the side whose coach wants to give an English premier League title before leaving the club at the end of the season.

The first half is 2 goals to nil against Chelsea and I am not sure that the result will change in favour of Chelsea in this second half.

One of the teams that is giving me concern is Arsenal, I was one of those who was dazzled by Mikel Arteta’s brilliance since he became manager of the club. They had a great last season, they looked more confident and took their chances. At this time last season, Arsenal were top of the table and their fans were sure of winning the league title. Now, all they are fighting for is top four position. I do not what they caused them to drop off, IMO with all the competitions Manchester City are playing, this is the season other teams have a good chance of winning the league title.

I managed to notice that before the start of the second half the odds for Tottenham to win were 3.3 and now they are 1.23 - an impressive turnaround. And it’s also funny that it took Johnson 4 minutes to enter the field and score a goal - the coach made a good substitution.

Tottenham has already gone above Aston Villa if the match ended like this, as they are already winning 3-2, but if they were not serious in defending their box, Ivan Toney will add more goals to them because Brantford looks very serious in attack after getting their second goal. If Tottenham is able to maintain the score line or add more goals to get three points in the match, Aston Villa will go back to where they belong, which is the Europa League spot.

I managed to notice that before the start of the second half the odds for Tottenham to win were 3.3 and now they are 1.23 - an impressive turnaround. And it’s also funny that it took Johnson 4 minutes to enter the field and score a goal - the coach made a good substitution.

It's now 3-2 and the second half changes everything but there's still time left, I think Tottenham can still hold on to the score until the end - the remaining 20 minutes of the game are still dominated by Tottenham.
