Manchester United new coach have really changed a lot because it's clear that the players are showcasing their skills and I see excellent performances from them. Man City have really turned to something else even the underperforming teams are showing their talent when playing against them. Actually, I agree with you that both teams are in the same stage but one is moving in positive direction while the other to the opposite direction. Since man united is recovering we don't expect them with highest performance to defeat any team they faced. The two defeats the faced in their last two matches was never a surprised to me because both teams are in top 5th and it only takes a strong team to secure a slot there.
I can see why Amorim brings out the best in these players, but they are just not good enough to win many games and go up. I mean could he do better than Ten Hag? Of course he can, I assume he will get more points, but that doesn't mean that United will do great, the team is bad and that's why they are going to have difficult time getting wins and rising up the ranks.

I do not see them finishing like top seven or something this season, probably not even eight. So, there is no turning the clock and becoming good again, they just have to accept they suck. With January transfers and summer transfers, maybe next season they could become a better team and that could allow them to have better results as well which would be finally a happy news.

Amorim has not gotten what he wants. At the moment he is building a team with what he has. Everyone has to be patient with what Amorim does until the end of the season. I don't see him being very good in the Premier League, but I'm sure he's better than Ten Hag.
A tough job with big expectations to turn United from a slump into a scary one in a short time. Amorim just needs to improve United's game in the Premier League and try his best in the Europa League. Next season he has to do better. If not, maybe United can choose a new manager again.

At least, Erik ten Hag in his first season managed to make a significant improvement to Manchester United's performance in the Premier League standings and also the EFL cup trophy, and in his second season Erik ten Hag also still managed to make Manchester United get the FA Cup trophy. So, when comparing Amorim and Erik ten Hag at this moment, I think it's still  not right and maybe too soon to say or conclude Amorim is better than Erik ten Hag. With that reason, I think as long as the season isn't over then it's probably not enough to make a comparison because anyway, so far at least Amorim hasn't quite managed to become a manager with good results as expected and targeted.
I can’t believe you’re denying that Erik ten Hag’s spell in Manchester United was a failure. What’s a FA Cup or EFL Cup to a club like Manchester United. It’s a mediocre result for a manager who was given the money and full support of the club’s bosses to pick his own players. Amorim is just starting, he’s inherited a team that was in disarray except for the few games they played under Ruud van Nistelrooy Manchester United were total losers this season. Manchester United fans should be patient with the new manager, he can’t undo the damage Erik Ten Hag has done in one month.

Certainly in this case it takes time but actually there are still some things and some players that need to be improved in several positions for Chelsea because in the end from looking at their current performance they are still not neat in minimizing performance especially for the defense area which is sometimes not very good and always easily missed in goals even though maybe this happens due to lack of cooperation and can be improved again but on the other hand in the end if this is left then it is certain that things like this will become more serious in the end.

Chelsea need to work on their defense and also need to sign a new goalkeeper if they want to compete for the title this season. They're in the title race but don't have the defence to back them up which causes them to concede goals cheaply. Although the blame for the two early goals was put on Marc Cucurella boots but it was a clear error in defending that allowed the goals to happen. Other defenders should have been quick to assist cucurella after the mistake was made and they would have avoided those goals but atleast the early conceding gave energy to the players in playing in the way they did and ended up winning the game, which was nice to watch.
Another goalkeeper? Honestly, I'm too bored if I say the player who should be brought in for Chelsea is a goalkeeper. Currently they already have a lot of goalkeepers because even now there are 7 goalkeepers owned by Chelsea even though some of them have been loaned out like Kepa who was loaned to Bournemouth this season so when they add another goalkeeper this seems outrageous to me.

The Cucurella case is also a condition that is actually difficult, okay when in yesterday's match he reasoned with his shoes but in the end Cucurella's performance to date seems stagnant without any improvement for me for Chelsea so indeed when Chelsea want to try to overhaul the players again as they always do then before doing that they have to wash the warehouse by selling some unnecessary players because until now even though it's pretty good they have a lot of ammunition players in the current tight schedule but still there are still a lot of players who are ultimately unused for Chelsea and that clearly burdens them in terms of budget.

Manchester United has picked up more form since changing coaches, and you can't say they haven't improved much. However, given Manchester City's current form, Manchester United may be able to defeat them when the two teams meet. Because of the ucl that Manchester City played yesterday against Juventus, I did not expect them to lose, because I saw Manchester City as the favorite to win the game, but with how they played, I believe Manchester United can get three points if they perform well on the pitch. Let see how Manchester City will do this weekend against Guadiola if Manchester City lose against Manchester United this weekend Guadiola as totally be a poor club this season and they won't achieve the league trophies this time anymore. They can just focus on the ucl more then the premier league if they probably lose against Manchester United.
I agree that there are some things that Ruben Amorim has improved on from Manchester United's performance, but know that everything is still not finished. Manchester United still have to improve on all fronts and they have to consistently do so, not only in defense but also in the way they maximize opportunities on the front line.

Manchester United lost their last match in the Premier League against Arsenal and Nottingham, while today they managed to win away in the Europa League match against Viktoria Plzeň 1-2. Ruben Amorim's troops struggled to win because Viktoria Plzeň was not at all bad in their home match. They were ahead 1-0 until the first half ended, but fortunately Rasmus Hojlund, who was played in the second half, became the hero of the victory with 2 goals. This is a victory that is needed so that player motivation and morale improve after the previous defeat.

Pep Guardiola has never been sacked in his career. He left top clubs like Barcelona and Bayern Munich by himself. In a recent interview with Luca Toni, the Manchester City coach has admitted that he would understand if the club decided to sack him. He acknowledged that sometimes things don't work the way one experts. Do you think that Pep deserves to leave Etihad?

https://dailypost.ng/2024/12/12/epl-man-city-can-sack-me-if-they-want-guardiola/
I believe it’s the dream of every Premier League fan to see Pep Guardiola leave Manchester City and the Premier League. Manchester City are not stupid. Why in their right mind will sack Pep? Pep has won every trophy there is to win in England for Manchester City. He’s given everything to the club. It would be insane to sack your best manager in the history of your club because of one off-season. What can City boast of before Pep Guardiola came into the club. They didn’t even have the kind of fanbase they have today before Pep started winning trophies for City. I strongly believe a lot of people switched sides because City were doing so well in the EPL and UCL and their main club wasn’t. Now that City are having a off season, they are returning to their real clubs.

While I agree that Amorim is trying his best, I feel like they are not getting any better at all, at least if you ask me. I can see that some people disagree with that and they think United looks better but I just do not see that at all. I believe Amorim is playing a football that is quite similar to Ten Hag.

I do not mean that in formation or in any other sense than just results, I mean whatever Ten Hag was getting as results, Amorim is getting the same. I understood when it was first few games, but it's been a month since he has been there and the results are still not good enough. Isn't a month good enough to see some improvements, hell even if you are getting losses, at least seeing a better team would have made sense, we are not even seeing that these days.

....without us realizing, among those conditions, it turns out that Enzo Maresca has succeeded in bringing Chelsea to the top 3 consistently, and with satisfying victories.
No doubt about all you said about Liverpool, Manchester City and even UTD, is good for Chelsea to take advantage of all the poor performance of all these teams because it won't be nice to be noticing all these errors from these teams that you know are suppose to be competing for the title and making the EPL hot for every other clubs and you're also not in any way winning your games and showing that sign of lact of consistency, it won't be nice.
Yes, Chelsea can really take advantage of this opportunity very well. This is not a dream, seriously, Chelsea is already in the top 2 of the Premier League. I didn't even think they could do it. and they really do it and doing it very greatly.

especially with the contribution of Sancho and also especially Cole Palmer, the combination of the two is really incredible, almost in every match. Chelsea can't let go of these two players if they still want to stay strong.

Source: Cole Palmer
Yes, Chelsea are playing good football at the moment but I don't think that they are title contenders this season. Kudos to Enzo Maresca for improving their rankings on the Premier League table, the way I see it Chelsea still have a long way to go, they are just building up and I don't think they can become champions just yet. Hopefully by next season they will stand a better chance in lifting the trophy.

The comparison wouldn't make sense at all because it's comparing someone's two and half seasons, literally almost two years to another person's less than ten game performance, as it is, compared to ten hag, neither is better just yet, Amorim need some more time before conclusions can be made on him already and not at the moment when he's yet to properly arrange his team already, ten hag in his first few weeks at old Trafford didn't perform magic but did gradually took the team up the table so amorim too deserves some of such time too.

Hey Ruben, you made a mistake. If you don't win, the coach goes while the players remain. Those set of players you see there have succeeded in sacking upto 4 managers but they are still in the club with their bogus salaries. So, be warned and very careful. Do your best to succeed because Manchester United fans are already out of patience. They don't need to many preachings but they need results. Get positive results by any means possible.

To be positive is to work harder for a more successful outcome. If not that Manchester City is at their worse now, one will be rest assured that Manchester City have already won this game coupled with the legendary coach they have, Guardiola. But, it is not as it used to be now since Manchester City have also suffered losing streaks for a while now. The last match against Nottingham didn't show any better improvement from the side of the Manchester United too but I know Man U will love to win that match especially that it will be Amorim's first Manchester derby and to also help him stop the last defeat the team suffered over Manchester City.

Man United should be able to take advantage of Man City unstable condition. But on the other hand if they still can't beat Man City, it should be considered reasonable. Amorim is still very new and so far not many players can understand the coach's wishes. When Amorim held Sporting, he could easily silence Pep Guardiola, but now Amorim holds Man United where this club has problems that have not been resolved by any coach for a long time.

No matter how poor the conditions of Manchester City is do you think we are going to lose to Manchester United easily I don't think so even if it's that bad, we are going to touch Manchester United for sure, there is no way they will have the opportunity for them to win the city even if we are not in a stable condition because there own conditions is more than ours, there is no way they have that capacity have been hoping for but it as not yet be possible, I don't know what will happen in that game but am very sure of who is going to win and it will not be more than Manchester City we all know were the two club stands, knowing who is going to win is not something that is suppose to be difficult to predict so all we can do just enjoy when they play and how we are going to defeat them for sure.

Yes, the team has getting some improvements since Ten Hag left, but they were well coordinated under Ruud Van Neistelroy than their new coach Amorim; I don’t mean to say that Amorim is not good, he is a good coach, but the fan’s expectation towards him is much, and him been new to Premier League has to suffer before adapting to the Premier League style of play, and that’s why they have some setbacks.

Manchester City is indeed facing poor form at this moment, winning just one match out of their last ten matches is not normal for big team like Manchester City that is been managed by Pep Guardiola; I will be expecting some improvement among both teams because it is a derby match; Manchester City cannot afford losing the game same as Manchester United under Amorim since it will be his first Manchester derby.
However, I am seeing a draw in this game or Manchester United to win; I am not given Man City chance because they are currently not in form and they have defensive errors.

It's a fight against the two then although the only reason why I feel Manchester united would be having an upper hand in the race would be because of the influence of the present coach as he was the former coach of the striker and would have more leverage in convincing him to come play and help united in their quest to refurbish the old glory of the Manchester united we know.
At the moment Manchester United should have more luck when meeting Manchester City who in their last ten games have only managed to win one match when hosting Nottingham Forest. So Manchester United can take more steps to make more surprises through their new manager's breakthroughs this weekend when they play as guests at Manchester City's home later. Because Manchester City are in a less than good condition so the level of luck for the match should be more potential for Manchester United to get this weekend.

We wait to see then, because Manchester United having a new coach doesn’t mean they will have a higher chance of winning against Manchester City. Although I know that Manchester City's performance is bad currently and also Manchester United is not that strong that it will convince me to say they will win against Manchester City, United's new coach is trying as well. So let's see what will happen if they meet; I can’t predict the game, though. Because of how their performance is going currently, both of them are not really doing good to me.

Ruben Amorim must avoid the talk that Erik Ten Hag often does about this promise, that and all sorts of things. Because usually it will be much worse if you can't meet expectations. Amorim must focus on working and talk less. Reflecting on other teams whose coaches are rarely in the spotlight and are able to perform optimally. Chelsea under Enzo Maresca focuses on working hard, building the team and not making small talk to meet the media chatter.

What Amorim should be talking about now is how he can create a stability in the team rather than talking about winning the premier league. And he should be very watchful while saying anything on media so that he doesn't make same mistakes as Ten Hag did. Can they win the premiership with this same mentality they had in the past. I think it is unrealistic for Amorim to even think of a possibility for them to win the title because they are far points away from the league leaders Liverpool. Amorim knows the situation of Manchester united before he came, he should concentrate more on how to improve the team before talking about winning the league. He should check how Enzo was able to improve Chelsea just within a short time he has managed the team. Basically, Chelsea and Manchester united use to face same challenges in the past but Chelsea has now improved and left Manchester united behind.

When Amorim first arrived old Trafford, after his debut one of his first complaints was about how often he had to address the press as he sounded like it wasn't comfortable with him, probably something he really doesn't enjoy doing as he's not used to doing such looking back at where he's coming from and so it kind of didn't sit well with him and now I'm beginning to see why maybe he wouldn't be saying things like this already if he was getting lesser press time, can if he's aiming at such and have a road map to get there but then too much press exposure will get him spilling things like this sometimes.

Manchester United was once a very popular team in the English Premier League and the position of this team in the Premier League was very good, but due to the selection of the wrong manager, Manchester United performed very badly for a few seasons. Ever since the new manager took charge of Manchester United, fans have seen renewed hope for Manchester United. Many are saying that Manchester United will definitely return to their former glory under this manager. As they could not change their positions much despite relying on multiple managers. But since the current manager was given charge of Manchester United, the current manager has improved Manchester United well. So if he has a long-term plan and if he can bring quality players to the club according to his plan, then maybe Manchester United can get back to what it was before.
It can take a new coach a long time to strengthen a weak team. Similarly, it will take time for their new coach to transform Manchester United from a weak team to a strong one. Manchester United was once a very popular and powerful club in the English Premier League (EPL), even the coach and players of that club was very skilled at that time.

The Manchester United team now has a new manager, so everyone is eager to see how well Manchester United can perform in the Premier League match between Manchester United and Manchester City on December 15.
