I came across this statistic of Share of Premier League matches ending in a draw from 1992/93 to 2024/25;


It is clear that this year we are seeing the record number of draw matches. I wonder what would be the reason behind such spike in draw matches? I mean, we are almost at the verge of breaking 1992-93 record. Is it because of AI ? I mean, we have seen tremendous amount of progress in AI, so it is possible that every team is taking help of AI for assessing other teams and formulating strategy. Since technological gap is not that much, so it is kind of making harder for any team to win. Or it is because teams are not playing aggressively overall ? I have crunched some numbers regarding odds comparison and indeed bookies are offering lesser odds for draw compared to previous year.
What are your opinions? Do you think we will even out in the following matches as the event will progress, or we will see even higher number of draw matches this season?

I understand your disappointment. because what made this match feel even more disappointing was because we seemed to be given good hope after seeing Man City lead by 2 goals before Brentford finally equalized the score. And yes, it is indeed unexpected to see Man City lose a winning moment just because of the time remaining in the match. Usually Man City rarely let their guard down at the end of a match. But this time they let their guard down.

But the trend of draws seems to be occurring in the domestic league. Because of the 4 matches that were held today, it turns out that 3 of them only resulted in a draw. I hope there won't be too many draws in the remaining 6 matches this week. Draws also happen a lot in Serie A. And this is a quite unique coincidence in my opinion. But things like this happen often.

In the remaining matches on Premier League Matchday 21, I think they are all equally difficult to predict. because currently strong teams sometimes lose to weak teams. so I would prefer to hope both teams score this time.

I don't believe Manchester City have returned to consistent performance right now. Many matches in a row Manchester City has performed poorly, on the contrary recently they have started to perform well in some matches, if they can sustain this performance then I will say that Manchester City is back to their previous form. However, it is difficult for this team to return to its previous form as many of the players who have depended on Manchester City's consistent performances in other seasons are no longer at the club and some players are out for long periods due to injuries. If Manchester City does not sign new player contracts and those contracts are not successful contracts, it is difficult to change the performance of Manchester City. For the past few seasons, we have been seeing Manchester City as the big team in the English Premier League or the Champions League. This condition makes me believe that in the match against Brentford, Manchester City will also win. And my excitement really peaked when Manchester City managed to take a 2 goal lead in the 66th and 78th minutes. But unfortunately Brenford managed to equalize the score in the end and Manchester City had to be satisfied with sharing the points. It's not a great result but it's not that bad either. But still this is disappointing for those of us who bet on Manchester city.

For Arsenal today's match is indeed a match that could make Arsenal return to second place temporarily if they can win it of course. If Arsenal fails and loses this match then Nottingham will remain comfortably in second place at the moment. Meanwhile, for Tottenham, this match is equally important to bring their ranking back to a better ranking. because currently Tottenham has fallen quite far and is outside the top 10 rankings. And things like this usually rarely happen to Tottenham. But this season Tottenham really lost their best performance in some matches which made them lose a lot of points.

In this match, I personally will trust Arsenal. I'll just think it's simple. Namely, we know Arsenal are the hosts in this match and we also know Arsenal are much more consistent than Tottenham this season. So I think it would still be good to favor Arsenal in this match. A draw is possible but I think the chances of it happening are quite small.

My prediction was coming true. City played like what they did in their last games. They're terrible at defense and nothing improved. They lead the game with two goals, but bottled it in the last 25 minutes. They suck!. Their defense is such a disgrace and deserved to be overhauled.

They won't go anywhere if they keep play with their current defense. They did everything well, but lose 2 points due to the inconsistency of their defense.

Since Liverpool lost that chance of extending their lead on the log by playing a draw against Nottingham Forest and the Blues who refused to get a win by playing a draw against  Bournemouth and this is making it straight 2 games without a win, could the Gunners take advantage of this opportunity to reduce the point gap Liverpool have on the table or are they going to lose or draw against Tottenham Hotspur?
It would be a very difficult London derby to predict since Tottenham have been battling to stay consistent and I don't think the Gunners can win this game and reduce the point gap Liverpool have against them, a draw isn't a better result for the Gunners neither is losing a more better option, so what would be the outcome of Arsenal against Spurs without Saka?🤔

I personally suspect that the Nottingham vs Liverpool match will be fierce. because what we have to remember is that at the start of the season, Nottingham managed to beat Liverpool. and I think Nottingham's victory at the start of the season was not just due to luck. But that's because this team has turned into a strong team. And today Nottingham also managed to hold Liverpool to a draw with a score of 1-1. Even Nottingham scored first and well again this was not due to coincidence or luck. but this result does show that nottingham has developed well and grown into a strong team.

Nuno Espírito Santo really seems like a very reliable coach for Nottingham. I am sure that the coach's reputation will also increase rapidly this season after successfully bringing Nottingham to this extraordinary achievement.

And I am sure that Nottingham will really be the team that manages to get a Champions League ticket for next season. But I doubt whether they will remain strong next season or not. I think the first thing this club has to do is keep their current coach for next season. Because losing a coach could make this team lose consistency again.

In my opinion, Nottingham Forest played well even though the result was a draw against Liverpool, but in my opinion this is a good thing for Nottingham because of course to be able to beat Liverpool is certainly not an easy thing, now the score of 1-1 must be accepted by both teams and of course each the team must be satisfied with only winning 1 point.

Until now, Liverpool have not been able to beat Nottingham because I remember that in the previous meeting before today's match, Liverpool lost to Nottingham with a score of 0-1, so of course Liverpool's current performance has started to decline. Liverpool have now managed to collect 47 points while Nottingham have only pocketed 41 points. The 6 point difference between Liverpool and Nottingham can of course still be said to be a long distance, but if Liverpool experience a lot of draws or losses in the upcoming matches, it will certainly provide an opportunity for Nottingham to potentially overtake Liverpool and we'll see what happens next. but in my opinion, now Arne really has to make his men perform better. To be frank with you, Nottingham Forest are one of those teams that are suppose to be in the second part of the table but their position now is still surprising to me because at this stage of the campaign last season the smaller teams which Nottingham Forest are part of are suppose to be below the top 4 or even the top 7 but today they are the nightmare of Liverpool while sitting at second position. If the Forest had beaten Liverpool it would have killed their hope of staying at the top as the league leaders.
If Liverpool continues to play like they did against Nottingham Forest then I don't see them winning the league but I'd love to see Nottingham performing that magic of winning the league and you know that they (Nottingham) are more serious than the Gunners you talked about, how I wish these guys have the kind of players Arsenal have, it would have been easy to finish every game without getting tired too quick, the truth is that Nottingham lack that stamina that's why they couldn't attack more and get another goal to win the game and I think Liverpool underrated them that's why it became hard for Slot's men.

Your bet almost won but unfortunately Chelsea in crucial minutes was able to score additional goals and ended in a draw.
Chelsea's performance is starting to decline and this will be very dangerous if we bet on Chelsea's victory or even more fun if we bet on the underdog in every Chelsea appearance.

Another thing I admired about the Nottingham Forest players was their ability to remain unshakable despite the barrage of shots being fired their way. Exhaustion and fatigue held the Nottingham Forest players tight but they still beat through it and met all the attacks Liverpool threw at them head on and it's not every team that can achieve this feat so it's enough to say that the hosts are capable and fit to remain in the 2nd spot they are temporarily at.

Well for people like us who already knew that Chelsea can't win Bournemouth, there is no way it would have happened that I will give Chelsea a straight win in today's match. I think I talked about this in one of my posts yesterday that Chelsea can't win Bournemouth. Although I predicted that Bournemouth was going to win. But the form that Bournemouth is currently, a struggling Chelsea side can't win them.

Chelsea were even lucky to have gotten a draw in this match. Well the result won't affect them that much because both Liverpool and Manchester city all played draws against, Brentford and Nottingham forest respectively. So I don't think there will be any serious changes in the standing. Chelsea need to get better, they can't continue dropping points the way they are doing. Gradually the season is coming to an end, they need to get back inform, so that they can cement their position in the top 4.

The sad news for Arsenal is about the player of this team, Gabriel Jesus. In the game between Arsenal and Manchester United in which they lost the game in penalty kicks, Gabriel Jesus got injured hardly in the first half and he could not continue the game. This made us worried and now this team officially said Gabriel Jesus is going to have ACL surgery and this means Arteta should think about a solution for this player because he lost this season.

Liverpool escaped  a lose tonight against Nottingham forest to come back to get a draw I must confess that am impressed with the results because the two teams involved where are top teams that are doing great in the league but the results is a Fair one because everyone avoided a lose but with these results there won't be much change to the the top of the premier League table

Nottingham Forest 1 vs Liverpool 1, Liverpool having all the statistics to themselves, an astonishing 27 goal attempts for the Reds, 71% ball possession and 9 corners, yet it ended 1-1 once again football proves its not all about statistics but putting the ball at the back of the net. Nottingham Forest almost did a double against Liverpool this season, its nice seeing a team like this get 4 points from Liverpool out of possible 6 points.
Manchester City in their game forfeited a 2-0 lead to Brentford and finally played a 2-2 draw, what's really going on with Manchester City?

Honestly in match is unpredictable, but your prediction as come truth as stated earlier that Chelsea can put efforts and equalizer even in the die minute of time and indeed it has happened; because they where able to equalized back in the 90+ of minutes of times when the game is about come to an end.

But Nottingham Forest didn't just end up in second place in the league, and it's logical that the game ended 1-1. According to bookmakers, Liverpool's main pursuer is Arsenal, but tomorrow they have a game with Tottenham and I think that Arsenal will not take three points.

I understand Nottingham Forrest may look good this season, and that shocked everyone, but Liverpool is even better, so I feel like they should win this game. LFC has been great this season, Salah has been on a mission, and this season they are looking like the team to beat.

What is wrong with Man City? They dropped a lead of 0-2 and cannot close a match. Just when i was thinking that Man City was gonna start playing really well they again slip up. Haaland cannot score,Foden carrying the team but just wasnt enough for them. Chelsea also again slips up and are still in bad form
