Looking at the points currently collected by the top 4 ranked teams, there is no significant gap for these 4 teams in reversing their position. I mean if Arsenal fails again in the next match then Manchester City will again put pressure on them this season and it is possible that Manchester City will make Arsenal fast again for the title this season. Manchester city is only 5 point adrift of the first ranked team, which of course is not a long distance considering there are still many games left this season.

Yes, the team that is hungry for the title will become champion again this season. Arsenal must always be consistent this season because they have been very strong if you look at their style of play this season. Manchester City will not remain silent, They can certainly lead the standing again and that is something Arsenal must be aware of this season because if arsenal really wants to win the title then they must be able to maintain their best form.

Brighton actually played well, they dominated the match and made many shots. Unfortunately, they failed to play effectively, they were even conceded goal first in the first half. In the second half, Brighton just equalized the score in minute 82', Wellbeck scored a single goal. Sure, Brighton too many wasted the chance for scoring goals. There were 18 shots and they won the ball possessions 66%. They were very superior in the match but they didn't know how to score goals effectively.

Crystal palace have been terrible lately, they have failed to win any of their last five matches, drawing tie with Manchester City was a surprise to everyone, no one expected them to be able to pull such string afetra poor run of form. Crystal Palace have been bad lately and despite playing at home they don’t really deserve to win Brighton because Brighton played well and deserved a goal too. Brighton is a strong team as well but they are not at their best form they could perform better than this but a draw and a point is not bad as a saying goes Half a loaf is better none.

Many people never taught that crystal Palace will be the one that score Brighton first, because everyone predictions lies that Brighton will defeat crystal because of they have lose three consecutive times they participate in match and they taught that Brighton will even score crystal Palace like three goals, theirs something I want us to know in football, it does not mean that any club or team that experienced constantly wining can continue to be wining other teams they feel that is the less club that get draw from them, actually their two performances was nice .

But it took Brighton quite some time to find their best game and really get it going. I think they wasted too much time this game to show their best gameplay. The game ended in a tie, as expected, since I am confident that Brighton would not allow Crystal Palace to win because they are in form and have a superior team than them this season. I was surprised when Crystal Palace scored first, perhaps because they are playing at home, but I knew Brighton would score because in their last 30 matches, they have scored a goal in every match they have played, and only against Arsenal have they finished a match without a goal, which is why I am confident they will equalize before the end of the match.

Consistency is the main element for every club that doesn't stand put to win matches. Brighton oppressed Crystal Palace but Crystal Palace scored before and that is what makes Brighton to have the fear to introduce opprrssive methods in order to equalise the goal that was scored by Jordan Ayew, so what ever Brighton played in this match is in order to equalise not  to win crystal Palace, the both team participated very well because of the level of the players they have, so I was expecting Brighton to defeat Crystal Palace immediately Crystal Palace scored the early goal then I notice that it will take Brighton more time to score one goal to equalise because Crystal will be playing a defensive game in order to protect their goal,and it happens, its out of pressure Brighton equalise the match

Having shared points with Manchester City I had that feeling they would do same this time with Brighton who have been quite unstable with them form and how they've been playing.
Crystal Palace also pressed harder than them for the second goal to at least hold the game and keep a good gap ahead in the game.

I don't believe in luck, they've earned it. Besides, Manchester City is not the same dangerous Manchester City we saw from last season they're more of a side that have played this season with o much consistentcy.

The race for the league is kind of difficult right now, all the clubs in the top 5 are really fighting for the league, and all of them are not giving up because the points difference between them is just kind of close, so any slight mistake from any of them will result in them dropping in position. Manchester City has dropped in their performance, but we all know Manchester City to be a dangerous club, they can’t be predicted. Let’s see if they will be able to get their way back to the first position.


If Liverpool’s midfield is weak, then they won’t have been in the position that they are currently in. Liverpool is currently in the 2nd position, and they have lost only 1 match this season with 5 draws. Liverpool has a nice squad this season, and I don’t even think Arsenal will be able to win the match. Liverpool shouldn’t be underestimated just because they played a draw against Manchester United in their last Premier League match. I won’t be surprised if Liverpool wins the match or if their match ends in a draw.

Counter attack has been the game Liverpool normally plays, so that pattern of choking the midfield is what Manchester City normally plays, so that was why they had a clash that was more than that of the titans when they met Arsenal, because both teams we are fighting to control the midfield and create more chances at the front. Liverpool will try to fight because it's a big game and they wouldn't want to be seen as the weak side but most people are already seeing them on that light.

In terms of player strength and performance, the odds are more inclined towards Brighton because even though this is away for them but they are favorites but it seems that Palace does not want to lose in front of thousands of their own supporters today.
Brighton dominated this match with many opportunities and possession of the ball but the defense of Crystal Palace was good enough to make the final result a draw in the match that has ended now.
It's unfortunate actually for Brighton with this result but they have also worked hard and deserve to be appreciated.

This could be true because after all this is their first time in a bigger competition, the Europa League so surely they want the best there but on the other hand the risk is that the players are too compressed which makes them tired which in the end the performance in the EPL is a little erratic unlike their performance at the beginning of the season.
But at the moment releasing one of them is not the right choice. Brighton can still continue to be in both at the moment because after all for the Europa League now there are not too many matches being played especially since they only need to wait for the drawing without doing the Play off first as for performance in the EPL although this season is still unpredictable for consistency issues but I still believe they will still be quite troublesome and enliven the competition in the middle board and even push back for the race for Europa League or conference league positions.

I think it's reasonable for both of you not to expect Manchester City to win the title this season, but I still expect it to retain its title. Manchester City is known as a team that can dominate the Premier League title as long as Pep Guardiola is the coach, so I think they will retain the title even though currently Manchester City is below Aston Villa, Liverpool and Arsenal.

What doesn't make sense for you is to underestimate Manchester City's ability to defend the title, that's a bit funny because so far Manchester City is the team with 3 consecutive titles in the last 3 seasons. Will they always be able to, no, but the odds are still better today.

The match has now entered extra time and it is likely that a draw will be the final result when looking at the performance of both teams in this match.
Brighton continued to press Palace throughout the match but on the other hand Palace also played very well in this match including the defence they did which made it very difficult for Brighton to penetrate the defensive area that was tightly guarded by Palace.
This is at least a breath of fresh air for Palace because after all they are fortunate to be able to draw even though it doesnt have too much impact on the standings but at least they still get 1 point that is very good only with this result Brighton is now threatened by West Ham who can stay away and reclaim the current 8th position.

I also do not want to see Manchester City winning it, they are currently on a streak of three consecutive wins and no other premier league club has broken the record or making it four times in a row as such I don’t want them breaking that record just yet. But with the performances of each team this season many will say they won’t get the chance to do it but I wouldn’t rule them out because they aren’t far from the top with most of their keys missing out through injury. The first name that comes to my mind is De Bruyne he is always at the front of their success but this season he has managed to play just 20 minutes, with him currently back on the field should he start playing again I think City will start causing problems to the other teams. But before then I wouldn’t rule them out just yet.

The great expectation arises because of their previous performance which always troubles some big clubs in the EPL which makes this happen but I think it is a fairness but indeed this season especially in the last few matches that Brighton has they have a little problem.
Is it indeed a busy schedule and increasingly heavy competition because they are also in the Europa Legaue so that they are not too ready with the many competitions they have become one of the problems they cannot solve. If in the end this is true because schedule problems and big competitions interfere with performance then Brighton should reduce the competitions they participate in.
At the moment their focus will still be on the EPL as a dark horse again but for the Europa League too it is still quite feasible just if it is not too capable of being done then don't be too forced.

The score is likely to be a draw now because with difficulty Brighton can finally equalize the score in today's match.

It is just one goal that Crystal Palace were able to score, but one goal is not always enough, Brighton could end this game without a point if they are unable to score a goal in these last few remaining minutes of the game, but they did through a Welbeck's goal to share the points in the game. The game could have gone the way of crystal Palace had they been able to score another goal in the second half just like they did in the first half where they scored the first goal.

I think you are underestimating Aston Villa, this team is on the right track and want to make history. I won't underestimate them because they have show consistency since the beginning of the season. Yes they struggled against Brentford and at the end they won the game that's how you know team that are doing well.

To be honest I don't expect Liverpool or Arsenal to win the game, meaning I expect both to draw. As a result, Manchester City was able to catch up on points with Arsenal and Liverpool so that the competition for the title became increasingly fierce in the second half of this season. Of course that is my wish, but Liverpool playing at home tends to be believed to be able to beat Arsenal instead of losing or drawing.

A draw will be detrimental for Arsenal and Liverpool, because Aston Villa, who is in third place, has a chance to be at the top this week in the match against Sheffield. Aston Villa will try their best to lead the standings, but if Arsenal or Liverpool win the match then Aston Villa will also drop to second place.

Liverpool performed well against Manchester United, but Manchester United was very lucky because they managed to make Liverpool fail to score. A similar scenario will not happen because Arsenal and Liverpool will both adopt an open game to attack, while Manchester United is very closed which allows Liverpool to dominate it.
