This season, Manchester City must try hard to be able to compete strongly at the top of the standing because Arsenal and Liverpool will make it quite difficult for Manchester City this season. Both Arsenal and Liverpool want to break Manchester city dominance in the race for the title. Indeed, Luton made Manchester City players lose their enthusiasm after Luton managed to score an early goal, but when the second half started, there was a big change in making a comeback to turn things around.

Manchester City is only 4 points behind Liverpool who lead the standing. I think the difference of 4 points is of course quite close because if Pep Guardiola is able to continue his winning trend in the upcoming matches of course Manchester city will return to leading the standing. Maybe we should wait for Kevin for the second half of the season because if Kevin has rejoined then they will be stronger in the second half of the season.

Sometimes, it won't be easy to win against the teams in relegation zone. I don't think we need to feel worried, Man City still succeed to win the match at least. Although Luton Town scored first, Man City could scored 2 goals later. Man City showed their winning mentality, they could handle the situation during the match.

Bernardo Silva contributed with a single goal, he also becomes a player who has a big role in the match. I'm quite happy that Bernardo Silva can play better and gives contribution for a win. This can be the beginning that Man City can have a proper replacement for De Bruyne's role as an attacking midfielder. Man City loses this role so far.

We know Pep Guardiola to becomes very competitive coach that doesn't give room for anyone to give excuses. Luton Town gave the citizens hard-time today, defensive in all angles Manchester City could possibly put the ball through but atlast, they were able to record a comeback and grab Ed three solid points from Luton Town. If Manchester City continue like this, it will not be easy because there are more competitive contenders for the EPL title and Manchester City will turn out to become another club on the othe end that's struggling to earn points.

From the way they played, it seemed like it and you could see just how helpless he was not being able to give directives to his boys. Aston Villa having to hold an early one goal down to the final whistle against a team like Arsenal, it’s something you wouldn’t have expected to happen but, they made it a reality.
I think if Arteta was on that touch line, things would have turned out differently from the directives he will put in the game and the angle he would have viewed it from to get a better perspective of what changes the game would have needed.

Spurs today made Newcastle not seem like a team that was together. Don’t just know how Joelinton managed to get that one consolation goal but, it was just Spurs having to run down the Newcastle United defense over and over again. They were under so much threat all game.

Chelsea couldn't do much when they visited the Goodison Park stadium because Everton played more carefully in this match and managed to achieve a promising victory.

For Chelsea, they were not good at finishing in this match because they had many opportunities but they couldn't convert them into goals. Chelsea needs really good attackers to be able to score goals because currently in my opinion Chelsea front line is very unproductive when it comes to scoring goals. Chelsea ranking in the standings table is quite vulnerable to being shifted by other teams because several teams collected the same points, which will make them shift each other's rankings in next week.

This is the premier league. It's a league where even the smallest of teams can pose to be a problem to big teams. What happened to City today isn't much different to what Liverpool and Arsenal faced against Luton town at their home this season. It's easier to win at home but much more harder to win on the road and City had to fight real hard for it. Liverpool fought hard against Sheffield, Luton and even Nottingham.

Btw, It was nice to see Alvarez up there as the sole striker for City today. I wonder what happened to Haaland. Anyone has updated info on Haaland and while he missed out on the match day squad?

Who else was a bit worried about Manchester City, I hope they do better. This form cannot see Pep Guardiola winning the tittle this season if he doesn't fix things up together for him.

It is always hard to understand why a team that has had so many issues during the early season out of a sudden is so strong that they can beat anyone.

Newcastle is having quite a bad time at the moment and I think it is quite bad if they are behind Manchester United, which also has problems over problems. Many of the top teams had some unexpected troubles and I think this is most obvious for Manchester City. I would have never thought that they would not be able to win a game for like four games in a row. And it was shocking to see that against Luton Town they were also struggling. I think Guardiola was experiencing a nightmare until his team finally scored goals.

In my own opinion, I think it was after the English football authorities stripped Everton of ten points for violating the financial fair play that they started performing to their full strength as a club. Many were expecting them to struggle to remain in the English Premier League after those points deduction or probably be relegated at the end of the season but from in less than five matches after that incident, Everton are out of the relegation zone and are looking comfortable in their current position in the English Premier League. They defeated Chelsea today in a match many had predicted that Chelsea were gonna win and if they continue with their current form, Everton is likely to finish the season in the top half of the league table despite the going through the pains of points deduction.

Newcastle united experienced problems in their defense because in two matches they conceded 7 goals and that is the bad thing that happened to them in the two matches they have played. I think the problem of player injuries could be a bad point for their performance in the last two matches which made them lose points. Sometimes one of the teams starts to lose their balance when the coach doesn't have strategy B when many players are injured and that's what happened to Newcastle United.

Newcastle United looks like it will be difficult to repeat what they did last season because until week 16 they have not been able to rise to enter the top 4 ranking. I think Howe should be able to end this bad streak because it has been seen that there are several teams that are taking time to recover after losing in a row, such as Manchester City and Tottenham.

Manchester City made me really worried about them for once during the Luton game. Because when I saw Luton scoring first it was quite surprising to me. I know how their condition is in the league these days. But they played against one of the easiest teams to beat. They won the game maybe but it should have been much more comfortable than that.

Haaland wasn't even in the squad today by the way. I saw it like he was injured but this wasn't much convincing to me. Maybe Guardiola just didn't want to bring him to Luton. But there was no need for him to win the game of course. Alvarez filled his place nicely.

And they ended the bad situation by beating a tough opponent like Newcastle United. After starting the season so well, they have officially collapsed. I remember 6 weeks ago we were talking about whether this team could become champions this season. In an instant, they turned upside down. Fortunately, they have now shown signs of recovery. I don't think they can get into the top 4 again, but it's nice to be in the race near the top.
Manchester City came from behind to win against its weak opponent. They had not won the league for 4 matches, and now they breathed a sigh of relief. However, the game they are playing doesn't give any hope, they are far from the previous seasons. There seems to be saturation in the team this season.

You can’t blame Reece James, bro just recovered from injury and we all know how difficult it is to recover form knee injury that almost required him to go for a surgery which he refused so he needs to manage himself properly so he doesn’t get himself injured again. I respect james and i know his drop of form is due yo the injury and after a while he will fully recover and get back to his best form. James is a positive and solid player, don’t forget how he pocketed Doku in the match against Manchester City, he is the best right back we have got and I know it’s the effect of the injury because almost every player struggles when they return from injury.

Chelsea have lost their confidence and rhythm and they need to improve as soon as possible else they may find themselves in the relegation zone.
