Tottenham have not done so well of recent after losing three straight matches and drawing one. Well, the draw against Manchester City in their last match might just be the morale booster they need to face Westham who I thought will take the three away points. The first goal of the match from Cristian Romero at the 11th minute was actually an indication that the Spurs did not come to joke, however, the 55th minutes equalizer from Jarrod Bowen changed everything making a draw the most probable outcome of the match. Now that James Ward-Prowse has scored a 74th minute goal that gives Westham United the lead, will Tottenham allow this to stand and accept defeat? Only time will tell and if the status quo stands, it means that the days of woe is not yet over for the Spurs.

Despite knowing it was an Everton home game and they are gaining back good form, I never thought that Everton would have the opportunity to play well like. This is really surprising. In fact, what surprised me most is that Everton won the game with three goals and Newcastle were not able to score any goals upon all their three short-on goals. I will say that they are not lucky in today's match. Be before the game started my thought was that if Newcastle can't win the game they will draw because I don't think Everton was good position to defeat Newcastle but unfortunately Everton won them,that is really great performances from Everton. 

I am surprised with the result because I did not expect Everton to win the match even at Goodison park since they have been losing against Newcastle United in that same stadium; but it seems like the points deduction on Everton side triggered their anger and they start performing better because since they deducted their points, they only lose to Manchester United, they were able to take some points in some of the match’s and they won some a which is very good.

Newcastle United this season have won Chelsea, Manchester United, Arsenal, Manchester City and PSG; they are always good against big teams, but when it comes to playing average teams like them, they flop and lose matches like a small team, this is why they are still out of the top four in the Premier League table

Because of Manchester City's performance of not being able to win matches as they ought to, doesn't mean they are not going to bounce back. What they are doing now, they did it last season by losing to small clubs nobody expected and in the end, they found their form and later won the PL trophy.

It would be a terrible thing for any club coach to think of writing Manchester City off from not lifting the 2023/2024 Premier League title. Liverpool, Arsenal, Newcastle, and other coaches can't try it because Pep Guardiola can leave them surprised by the performance and tactics his players will come up with by next year to the end of the season.

Even though I have a little doubt about Manchester City lifting the PL title this season, that doesn't stop me from in believing the capability of Pep Guardiola of what he can do. He can change the whole atmosphere of his team to become formidable again. He can fix his team even though their attention is divided to focus on their Champions League matches more or Premier League

Newcastle is the club that usually gives other teams trouble when they play, Everton made sure to get all points from the game and now they have successfully moved away from the bottom. Had they not had their points deducted, they would have been very close to the top of the table. Tottenham and West Ham have both scored one one goal, and that can be more painful for Tottenham who need to win this game more than West Ham who are still far from the top of the table.

Everton are seriously doing well this season, when I saw the point deduction I was a little bit sad for them but truly I will say even if it would come in future then right now is the best time, they this season are in fine form and this season is still early so they can easily fight it out which I trust they will do, we can give Sean Dyche his credit for this rebuild.

As for Newcastle United I wouldn’t blame them for losing because they have actually done well in their last matches even with the injury crisis surrounding them. They have been playing same team for like five matches now without making much substitutions, even a well balanced club like Manchester City would face same problem with this thin squad. A full Newcastle squad would have beaten Everton

Everton destroyed Newcastle today 3:0 and looked so easy in the second half. Was dissapointed at Newcastle they are just playing hot and cold and are bad at away games. Was expecting a close match but Everton made a big win and now got their hopes up for survival this season.

 The match result wasn’t what most fans expected especially judging from the way both teams have played of recent times. Chelsea was thought to have the upper hands but seems in this match they lost control of the midfield battle and Manchester United capitalized on that and that earned them 3 points. The win was well deserved and credits must be given to Ten Haag who knew he had to sit out Rashford because he was obviously one of their many problems and also the sub of Lindelof who was not in the match.

 Now this Chelsea has shown the fans that they still have a long way to go as they can defeat some opponents and have bad days then get defeated and that means more work for Pochettino and his boys, hopefully they’ll bounce back when they face Everton next else, I think the fans will be coming for Pochettino soon.

Everton 2:0 Newcastle United

Finally Everton has given one of the informed team in the Premier league Newcastle united a humbling defeat. I bet no one saw this one coming as Everton got their sixth premier league wins with a superb performance against a Newcastle team that has defeated most of the big teams in the league such as Manchester united, Chelsea and others, the most surprising thing about the win for Everton is that they played with so much pressure yet they were anle to get a second goal even when I thought the game was going to end in a 1:1 draw.

The win tonight will increase their chances of getting out of the relegation zone while they also need more wins to increase their points and to move out from the relegation zone completely.

The large number of injured players and also suspensions are the reasons why Manchester City was unable to play at its best against Aston Villa. They don't have De Bruyne, Rodri, Grealish, Doku and can't even play Nathan Ake in defense. Pep Guardiola was forced to play Manuel Akanji and John Stones as central midfielders because they didn't have good midfielders to play there, that was the problem.

Of course Pep Giardiola lost a lot in the game, but they were also unlucky as Emiliano Martínez's fine performance saved Aston Villa from conceding. Manchester City didn't make much effort because they followed Aston Villa's style of play, of course it ended badly for them.

Everton 3-0 Newcastle

It a full-time time for Everton v Newcastle United, A big congratulation for Everton for stepping out of relegation zone with one point ahead of luton town, now they need more wins so they can be far from relegation zone, winning Newcastle united is actually a big achievement for them because Newcastle united is known as one of strong team in premier league this season that no team will like to take them serious.

When ever Newcastle faces the big dogs they appear to be stronger but when the face a weaker side they play so badly you Wonder if it's truly them.
Newcastle has been bad in this match against Everton, basically playing like bunch of tired legs, I think if Everton has been more clinical it should be more than three goals now. If Newcastle hope to be in the top four at the end of the season again then they need to start taking encounters with the lesser team more seriously they make up more percentage of matches than the big teams.

What a difficult matchday for Newcastle. After all the attempts to put a goal all went to know aveil. I would say today cane with a bad luck for them. However, someone has to fail for the other to win. Since they find it unlucky or difficult to score a goal. Everton had use that as an opportunity to score two goals in the gane. This is a big win for them. Newcastle looks tiredol of the game while playing the ten minutes extra time.

Finally an ugly end to this game for Kieran Trippier. He’s again at fault for giving the ball away inside his own half which made Everton to take full advantage of the game.

Manchester will lose the trophy League just like that without a fight? With just 6 points from Arsenal and you think that is enough for Arsenal to be the head of the season? LOL I had to laugh out loud and frown a little because that is far from happening. Last season, Arsenal was ahead of the Manchester City by 11 points but what happen after, they came back and took their place like nothing even happen all those while bevause when they come back to form, they didn't lose a single match throughout the rest of the season to even won treble, I believe such is going to happen and Kelvin DB is coming back to make their midfield even stronger than before in few weeks from now.


I think I'm one of the people that have confidence in Manchester City even though I want Arsenal to win the League but whereever there is truth, we need to say the truth and stand with the truth all the time, Manchester City were over confidence in that match against Aston villa but that confidence back fired because what was meant to be easy was something they were trying difficult to score, they dominated that match but the chances were counter and void by Aston Villa defenders and even when Haaland has ball to the job, they dealt with him but that is a lesson learned, they should improve next time against next match.

Nope, that’s not quite possible neither is it even imaginable. I mean, how could someone have the thought, even in the prevailing circumstance of Manchester City not having the sort of quality we know they do have in there games, aren’t winning 3 points and actually losing some games that ordinarily, we might have expected them to win. The idea that, they might not get to qualify for the UCL through the EPL doesn’t seem realistic. Even in Manchester City’s worst days, they are are capable of some surprises and they would come up with it as at when due.
Manchester City remains a viable title contenders and have no question about there UCL qualifier.

This win can definitely help Chelsea because after beating Chelsea there is now less pressure on the team. However, we should not forget Chelsea was not in the good form at all but still winning this match was good for Ten Hag and his players. Even Pochettino the coach of Chelsea said Manchester United performed better than this team and he confessed about the performance of this team in the match they had.

 

With a few minutes left for the match to end, Everton leads Newcastle United by two goals to nil. With tonight's win, they will be out of the relegation zone to 17th Position, just one point above Luton. If the point deduction had not been into effect, they would be 10th. These are the kinds of games Newcastle should be able to win with ease, but they keep losing points. Maybe they are not yet the top club we expect them to be now that they are backed by a huge financial muscle.

Manchester City didn't want to lose against Aston Villa in the previous match, but it happened. In that match, Manchester City were unable to control the game and I really have to admit that Aston Villa played very well. Aston Villa managed to get Manchester City and its players to play defensively, in fact I saw Manchester City seem to be physically outmatched by Unai Emery's men throughout the match.

I don't think this is an embarrassing defeat for Manchester City, but to expect Manchester City to always win against any team is also unreasonable. I agree Manchester City have a chance to put things right before entering the second half of the season. They must be prepared for big consequences this season amidst demands to defend the title, but that is clearly difficult to do, especially because Arsenal, Liverpool and other teams also want it.

Of course, this is quite appropriate because some of the big obstacles in Manchester City journey this season are none other than the absence of important players, which has had a negative impact on their recent performance. Yesterday match surprised many people because Manchester city was able to be beaten by Aston villa and Manchester City was also succeeded in being overtaken by Aston Villa. So, if Manchester City finds it difficult to win again in the next match, it is possible that they will fall out of the top 4 and this is a pretty bad pace for them.

Haaland performance this season is of course not as good statistically as last season, so there are many assumptions that Haaland is starting to experience a decline in his goal-scoring performance. I think if this condition continues then Manchester City can be said to be out of the title race this season. Even though the season is still long, other teams are starting to improve their quality, such as Liverpool and Arsenal.

That can't be confirmed now because after all, even last season Manchester City were more than 10 points behind Arsenal in mid-season but in the end they still won for the third time. Especially now with the distance not too far away so this still cannot be sure that Manchester City will lose their trophy this season.
Yesterday's match was surprising and I didn't have such expectations where Manchester City were not even like Manchester City usually when they lost Rodri and KDB in their midfield.

They seemed to lose their way and were taught how to play football by Aston Villa in this match. But the season is still very far away so we can't clearly say that Manchester City will lose the trophy.
