Manchester City lost to Aston Villa, making Arsenal top them with 6 points gaps, whereby the league hasn't gone far and there are many matches to play. Looking at the premier league table today, it feels empty like the team who would win the premier league is not there to. 

Last season arsenal used up to a 9-points gap to top Manchester City during the end of the season and later lost to Manchester City for the trophy. My question is, can what happened last season happen this season?
This season will be another time for Pep Guardiola to prove himself as the best coach as he always does when it comes to lifting premier league trophies. As it seems now, Manchester City doesn't appear formidable. Any team can win them if they make up their  city

I don't even see united has striker during the game. The real striker must be tominay and it's not hojlund. Shall ten hag does an experiment to put hojlund as a defender then put tominay as a striker?
Tominay needs more appreciations as he played far better compared to the real striker of manchester united. This guy was always helping manchester united in the difficult situation. Meguire played like maldini LOL.
Chelsea is playing individually and there was no team working being showed by chelsea during the game. Glad to see that united farmed three points from chelseal. This is really good result for united.

That's sad to see how manchester united had very poor performance in the UCL unlike in EPL yet still no goal for hojlund at this moment. I don't know what the fuck is wrong with this guy.
Hojlund played so poorly rather than it has a good performance.

What happened to City? They hit the rock bottom in the last 4 games. No win and only 3 points, and the worst thing is they play nothing like they used to.
I'm sure Pep will fix this soon but I'm not unhappy. Finally a clear path for Arsenal, they have to use this chance for good. It's up to them to finish this championship drought after all these years. There is no competition right now.

Pep needs to rebuild the defensive lines as soon as possible. This is very disappointed result to see how the club was losing against aston villa. It was losing with narrow score but lose is lose. It's horrible to see that if manchester city has 6 points gap toward arsenal at this moment.
Liverpool is in the second place right now. This is a very bad result for manchester city. It's a set back. I meant if the current result is far different compared to the last season which mean that if if arsenal was in the trouble.

Manchester city losses its soul right now. Im wondering how long it will be staying at the bad performance like that? Arsenal becomes the most favorite candidate to win the EPL at this moment.
Manchester city was unable in helping the club to win the game. CIty needs to come back as soon as possible. It's horrible result for the fans.

I've never seen such an spectacular and remarkable performance from Manchester United, the way the players and supports echoed chants of victory, it was really out of tract for the Blues and their supporters. They chilled down and couldn't belive their very eyes the type of danger that have befallen them. Erik Ten Hag have been praised by the wonderful display tonight at Old Trafford and that's the exact way they want to see Manchester United perform, because that will elevate them in all round performance. McTominay should be crowned MOTM after netting a brace against Chelsea.

Yeah I heard this information yesterday that several main Manchester City players were absent and this can prove that just relying on Haaland in the attack line is not enough Manchester City still needs other supporting players, it's a shame they lost points even though they should have been able to draw. as I said before Arsenal definitely took advantage of this with 6 points ahead and Liverpool 4 points ahead. We don't know when Manchester City ended this bad result 4 consecutive matches without a win, in the next match Manchester City will fight Luton and it should be the right moment to end bad results I can't imagine if Manchester City fails to get 3 points.

Arsenal at the top of the standings and Liverpool in the 2nd place then Arsenal have to fight against Aston Villa obviously this is not an easy opponent for Arsenal, especially they will play away, on the other hand Liverpool are predicted to beat Crystal Palace so if Arsenal draw and Liverpool won, will Liverpool take over the standings? This will be a new record in the Premier League when 4 teams took over the standings in turn in 2 months lol.

Aston Villa has stunned everybody today after winning Manchester City in todays game. I didn’t follow up this match but with the first half stats I saw, it was evident that Aston Villa could win the match because of how they dominated the first half of the game more than Manchester City.

Aston Villa won despite the heavy pressure they face. Manchester City are not in form, with the absence of keyplayers and also hyped players that are doing zero contributions to the club pattern of game. Traveling to Villa Park to face the Lions, the Citizens thought  it would be a regular winning day for them but got spuned by the home team. Indeed Unai Emery is cooking something for the club and the board and the fans are happy to have him in the club. On the other hand, Pep Guardiola have something to say concerning their shocking defeats against Aston Villa.

The Manchester City match today was just surprising to me. I wasn’t expecting Manchester City to lose the match, Manchester City really needed the match. As we can see, the city is now in the 5th position, which is not really a nice one. I was not thinking that Manchester City would be able to drop to the current position, which they are. Seriously, Pep Guardiola is having a lot to do. Arsenal, which is in the first position, is now ahead of Manchester City by 6 points, which is kind of a big gap. Arsenal is already giving Manchester City a big gap, which will be kind of difficult for them to cover up.


When will they be coming back? And I hope it won’t be late when they come back. If Arsenal is leading them with a reasonable amount of points, it might be difficult to cover up for Manchester City. We can’t compare last season with this season. Changes happen. That's why Pep Guardiola should try and fix Manchester City as soon as possible.

The necessary details and form about Arsenal is balance, what they need currently is accumulating points to stay top of the table and maintaining streak winnings in matches. Declan Rice might not play upto the expectations of the hype priced he got signed for but he has actually deliver his clubs in rough moments, times everyone thought it's over, there he comes and deliver them like Jesus Christ the savior. Mikel Arteta and his players have profound confidence in Declan Rice and he's very in incredible shape, there's absolutely no time for relenting efforts other than the players that are not in shape.

Maybe that's just a joke but the fans of Arsenals want to pay 30 million euros more for Declan Rice to Westham. So far during this season, Declan Rice had a perfect performance and he even scored the last goal for his team in the game against Luton to help Arsenal win the game Arsenal bought this player for 120 million euros from WestHam, and now the fans of Arsenal want to pay more for this player to WestHam in GoFundMe.

I don't think anybody could have predicted that Ma City performance right. That was the worst City performance I've seen in a long time. They were all over the place. Against Tottenham I thought that was a one time thing which is normal for every team but now it got worse again Aston Villa.
I won't be too surprised if City has just lost because every team loses matches no matter how good you are, but the way they lost.
It's not everyday you see Man City lose a match without scoring a goal and playing worse than their opponents.

I guess Manchester City is just going through a rough patch and they'll be back stronger. We know that they get better as the season goes further and they might go back to their usual form. They're about 6 points behind league leaders Arsenal and when you look at it from a certain perspective, that's not a lot of points, the problem is that is how the point gap might begin to increase.
One thing is for sure, it's going to be an intersection battle ahead.

Unai Emery has done some excellent work at Aston Villa since arrival last year. Aston have now found there way back to the premier league top and not longer a mid table team. The players this season that we’re added have been the ones super heading this season. Players like Pau Torres have enjoyed a smooth start to continue. The Villa park had also become a fortress which seems  hard to beat Aston Villa. They dominated a team like Manchester city which shows they are not to be taken for granted.

As for Manchester city I will say they are just experiencing a post treble winning season fatigue and to be frank they need it. I don’t blame them that much, this season is truly going to be a bit rough for them because there players fitness will definitely be questioned. As for Rodri, I don’t think they need anymore players, the likes of Kovacic, Nunez and Kalvin Philips are his replacement but they haven’t settled down well and also the players are different.

I’m still at a loss at exactly what happened in that game as I had expected Manchester City to have won that game and kinda easily too. They didn’t play up to expectations and lost the match as a result. Aston Villa had some really good chances and it deserved the goal later scored in the second half of the game.
Looking at the statistics later on from the game, Aston Villa was more hungry for goals and it was shown with the attempts on goal and shots on target. I was totally surprised at the outcome of this game.
Manchester United on the other hand, had a good game as they faced with Chelsea and won.

This match was suppose to end in an even draw but since the match was played at Old Trafford, Manchester United leveraged on that and won the match today. I am very impressed with their performance today because they outplayed Chelsea to win their match tonight. Both teams have been in inconsistent and this win is not enough proof that they will be back to form following their next match. Likewise Chelsea hasn’t proven that they will also lose their next match after losing to Manchester United tonight. Both teams are unpredictable, it will take time to know where the future of each team leads them.


The park is indeed a place to be feared by many teams. Aston Villa win against Manchester City was a surprise to me although they’ve shown a lot more expertise in the first half before scoring in the second half. Manchester City will be lagging behind Liverpool and Arsenal whom both won this weeks games. This is a good opportunity for Arsenal to dominate the league more if they know how to manage this point gap well.

this is really going to be devastating for City and their fans because the result they got tonight was not one they expected,and if they had told me that Aston Villa could win City,I wouldn't have believed,but now I'm beginning to see more reasons why Emery said he would make the top four hot for the people that occupy those positions.Credit to Villa as they defeated City who are the reigning champions.This victory will give them added boost of moral as they face the gunners this weekend.
Mikel Arteta will begin to make plans on how to win them if he wants to show to people that he is ready to win the tittle this season.I predit Arsenal to get a 2:1 win against them on Saturday.

I didn't watch this match, but based on the match results, statistics and goals scored by these two teams, I have the data. I want to comment from United's side first, Ten Hag's decision not to make Marcus Rashford a starter was the right choice. Occasionally, if a player plays badly, Ten Hag must have the courage to replace him or let him sit on the bench. and referring to the existing player statistics, there are only a few United players who underperform, especially defenders. plus, Onana. the rest, have quite good statistical value.
Unfortunately, Hojlund was again unable to prove or score his first goal. I don't dare to talk too much, because I didn't watch this match directly. However, based on statistics, Chelsea are much better, both in terms of ball control and technical matters. The difference is that United had a lot of total shots, but both teams had the same 5 big chances.

As for Chelsea, once again Poche relies on stickers which are difficult to score goals. The difference with Hojlund is that he performed well in this match. while Nicolas Jackson again underperformed. Manchester United dominated the first and second half of the match between them and Chelsea. I am happy that they managed to win over Chelsea despite losing a penalty and other good chances to score.

Chelsea's performance these days is not quite encouraging to watch them play. Their formation of playing a counterattack kind of football against their opponent does not favor them. I wonder who gives Pochettino that kind of football tactics. All I want is for him to change Chelsea's formation to a better one. He can't have quality players in the team and still fails to utilize them to win matches for the team comfortably. That's too bad and it makes no sense

Although Spurs aren't a reference since they are very instable and fluctuating a lot but I agree that Aston Villa are doing good this season overall. Today's game against Manchester City was another story, it was a very good result for them and shocking one for Manchester City fans and management. Guardiola is witnessing the 4th bad result in a row and the decrease in the ranking for his team.
