Newcastle United is playing entertaining football both in the Premier League and the Uefa Champions League, I don't see any need for Newcastle United to sign a new striker in the January transfer window because Wilson and Isak are scoring a lot of goals for Newcastle United combine. If Newcastle United is playing only in the Premier League they will have a better performance because Newcastle players will have enough rest.
Irrespective of how we feel that Newcastle United is still very much in a good form doesn't mean that they don't need more experience players because for a club to maintain there performance they need to buy more players so that if in the future some of there old players lose form, they can easily be replaced immediately with a very experience player. Because this is actually what Manchester City normally do every season irrespective of how good in performance they are they always make sure they buy one good strikers or defender on every transfer window that's why Manchester City performance can never drop because they don't look at there current state but instead they also focus on how they can have enough experience players that could maintain the club performance. So buying new players is very important even when they are not using them at the moment but is good to have them on the bench because you may not know when the need will arise.
