It seems that, when there is a team that is experiencing a decline in performance it is more often to fire the coach. Because it seems like the only way that is easy to do instead of selling players and or buying players, which will certainly wait until the transfer window opens. So yes, it is not surprising that at this moment Erik ten Hag is planning to be fired, instead of improving the team's performance. Although in fact, recruiting a new coach will of course still not guarantee that the team can recover quickly.
Buying a new good player only can make short term effects and in Manchester United, we saw it with Bruno Fernandez, Eriksen, Casemiro but now they are all stuck in the club with poor performance. Will Manchester United need new star players, they do need those players but they already have enough good players in attacking. They are only lack of good defensive players and their defense is their Achilles in this season.

Ten Hag seems to be very confident with his plan but results are chaotic enough and bring enough uncertainty for the club future. Not sure what Ten Hag and Manchester United are thinking of to buy in January 2024 to improve their team? New attacking players or new defenders? What will they priority in the winter and summer transfer markets?

Suppose the team situation does not improve. It's most reasonable for the board of directors to spend some money to find someone to replace Teg Han. Sancho is the person waiting for the day Ten Hag is fired so he can start everything over at MU.

Was Ten Hag's sacking a good decision? This will set a new record again for Man United. But indeed I read a lot of news in the local media, Man United players began to dislike the coach's policy. I don't really understand, but in these conditions it should be professional players with whoever they work with. But indeed if the condition has been bad then they could have bad results. It seems that the problems with Sancho and Ronaldo will be a problem that continues to be remembered.

Just after four months of playing at Aston Villa, Youri Tielemans wants to leave the team. He left Leicester and joined Aston Villa but this 26-year-old palyer couldn't have too much chance in Aston Villa to prove himself and so far in this season he played in eight games for Aston Villa but he was never in the first squad and that's why he doesn't have a good relationship with the coach of Aston Villa and he wants to leave during the winter.
Bro forgot if he's just a mediocre player, not Ronaldo or Messi who can freely to choose which he want to join.

He's not able to play in the top league, we've seen his performance in Aston Villa and Belgium aren't good, there's no any good team will want him. He might either join weak team in Premier League or playing in other uncompetitive league e.g. Ligue 1 or Bundesliga.
You cannot say Tielemans isn’t a good player. He’s one of the best central midfielders in the EPL. He’s proven it in Leicester city over the years and he has been linked to many clubs all over Europe before he joined Aston Villa early this season. It’s quite unfortunate that he’s not having enough game time as he wanted when he joined.

And I understand that every manager has his preferred players in every position even though they’re are better options on the bench. Boubacar Kamara and Douglas Luiz are Emery’s first choice central midfielders and he trust them and I think they compliment each other in a way. It will be difficult for a manager to drop one of them for Tielemans at the moment except for the case of suspension or injury.

Missing KDB and rodri obviously huge losses for manchester city. As you can see that if manchester city was always being defeated by its opponent since there was no good playmaker in the mid. Manchester city is loosing its power without bruyne.
Bruyne is playing very important roles to the club and he never absent in making very big contribution to the club. Im thinking about if de bruyne may back again at the end of the current season.
He faced serious injury and it's likely he will be absent from playing football. It's such a big loss for manchester city. His stats already proven how big his contributions to the manchester city since he was coming to the club.
No doubt if pep was missing a lot caused by he will not able to play till end of season. It's also decreasing the power of manchester city.
Such big teams as City cannot depend on only one player, Guardiola, by the way, constantly emphasizes this, but I agree that the team is missing Kevin. I am sure that he himself would like to return to the field as soon as possible, but now it depends on how quickly he can recover.

The prognosis is not very good yet and it looks like he won't be able to return to the game this year, most likely it will be 2024. For now, they need to proceed from the realities that exist, if Guardiola does not find a solution in the next matches, they may be forced to strengthen this position with a new player.

I have no comments over its attackers and midfielders. Even though MU was missing some players like antony and sancho but the club can still perform so well. MU really needs great defenders to step up. MU can't do that without having a solid defensive line who can protect the goal keeper from the opponent's attackers. The next few games are not going to be easy for manchester united caused by it is still in critical position on UCL with 0 points achieved so far combined with bad performance in la liga which was still making MU out of top 10.
Manchester united needs to step up their game by bringing the great defenders during the winter transfer window. MU can't have defenders who were alway cowering and hiding.
MU needs to buy some people who can bring the great protection to the goal keepers. It will also make the goal keeper less panic from so many attack that was coming from its opponent.
Checking the problem of Manchester United, is weigh beyond the ordinary resilience we're watching, the Red Devils need all round modification in all positional areas in an attempt to enhance them and prepare them for more challenging games ahead, Erik Ten Hag should make plans for upcoming games because there's really a whole lot of work to take into consideration if they're keen on the team's development. From the defenders to the midfielders to the strikers, they are all unprofessional on the field, with the exception of a handful who possess the basic attributes required. Manchester United should add additional players during the January transfer window.
I'm sure MU will do it. they will spend big in the transfer market, but that will also open up several players to leave the team as well. Ten Hag definitely has big plans. but their current problem is the defense line. it must be anticipated and Ten Hag must find a solution as soon as possible.
they can negotiate now, but the team will not wait until the next transfer window. Ten Hag must work hard to make MU's defense better. Their defense line looks very bad.

Sancho will be among the list of players leaving Manchester United same with Maguire,  Jonny Evans when his loan expires, Van dee Beek and some young players permanently.
Spending big is not a plan this new transfer approaching they have plans to get a defender.  I do not know  who else they will wan to sign.
They will have to see players leave before  they can bring in players else they will be part of the clubs breaching and breaking the financial rules set by fifa.
Pellistri also should be loaned he had his chance could not make the best of it.

Will spend big?

They already spent a lot of money for transfers over years and will they continue spending big? I think they will do it but will it help them to improve their squad?

Honestly I don't know because they must change their strategy on transfer market. Buying players for positions they need to improve in quality rather than buying one or two players at positions they are already good but ignore weakness in other positions. They did it recent seasons and their squad is still weak especially in defense so without good defense, they always play with fear in their matches. Their good streak can be broken by a bad match in defense and with not strong defense, they can not win titles.

By the way recently Manchester City have had interesting statistics which I mean like a coincidence or maybe not.  Grin

They were able to win the recent games with Rodri. But in his absence they couldn't do this and lost those games. Rodri is a really important part of this team now of course. He is making a really serious contribution with his goal attempts by helping his teammates in the attacking line as well. But of course the reason why they lost those games isn't only this situation. They need to make a good level of improvement in team performance on one hand.

Haha, that's just speculation or just luck or maybe Manchester City has reached the end of its golden age, we know that Manchester City definitely has a limit  time when playing its main squad I mean some of them are old and need a generation and several of these mainstay players have left in the last transfer market, Pep needs to prepare a new plan for the long term. On the other hand, their competitors like Arsenal seem to be finding their golden age I mean a shift will probably happen this season or next season.

I think there is no loss of power for Manchester City. Manchester City is still strong. They beat most teams. The players need to be rejuvenated gradually, but I think Guardiola is thinking about this. It is slowly making the average age of the players younger. If this continues next year, the transition between these periods will be smooth for Manchester City.

If  he doesn't have enough  game time, then its time to work hard be consistent and when the opportunity comes up again,  he will be lined up for the spot.
I watched him play for Leicester City so it bothers me to see such a talented midfielder on the bench.
This will not be how he ends his career,  he should consider a move out with his agency.
It is true that Tielemans is a talented midfielder and it is quite unfortunate that at Aston Villa he did not get the minutes he deserved. It's natural that in the end he wants to leave Aston Villa in the next transfer window and I hope that wherever he plays can restore his confidence. I don't think Pep will want to take the risk of taking the midfielder even though he is a free transfer. Pep always has a unique view for his prospective players and he will truly see their potential for a long time. Tielemans would be more suited to a team that needs his services and it is still possible for mediocre EPL teams to compete to recruit him in the winter.

Yes. Teg Han is forced to improve the team and Manchester United's position on the rankings. I advise them to limit spending in the next transfer window. Teg Han needs to build the team into a team that understands each other, has a comfortable spirit, and avoids putting pressure on the players. Even when constantly bringing in promising rookies, the players are always under pressure, and their stars fade in matches.
Suppose the team situation does not improve. It's most reasonable for the board of directors to spend some money to find someone to replace Teg Han. Sancho is the person waiting for the day Ten Hag is fired so he can start everything over at MU.

So far the squad thats Manchester City has is very good and I don't think Pep Guardiola really needs this player even though on a free transfer, Pep Guardiola is still able to bring in other talented player into his squad and I dont think it's Youri Tielemans.

Pep Guardiola I will reconsider if I want to bring Youri Tielemans to Manchester City, especially if include him in the main squad because there is a risk of reducing Manchester City playing quality.

Regarding Aston Villa not adding Youri Tielemans to the main squad, perhaps coach Unai Emery is not sure enough about this and Unai Emery does not believe that Youri Tielemans is capable of playing optimally in the premier league.

I agree with you that Youri Tielemans is a good midfielder. Maybe if he goes to Man City it will be quite good for his career. He is not as good as Gundogan. But I think he is still a midfielder who deserves to be given more opportunities by a club. Because when he was at Leicester City we could see that he was a talented player. And I agree with you that Youri Tielemans does not deserve to spend more time sitting on the bench. He is a midfielder who can be relied on as long as he is given more opportunities. Actually, I didn't expect that Youri Tielemans would not be included in Aston Villa's main squad. Even though when he was brought in I thought he would get a good place at Aston Villa.

We can't rule out Rodri effect from Arsenal and Manchester City, but he is still suffering from the red card he had in their round 6 match they played with Nottingham Forest and sadly, he will not be available in their next match in the round 9 against Brighton, but maybe Manchester will be able to turn around things and still maintain their normal winning streak. If Rodri were to be around, Martineli will not get that assistance from Havertz because he will be there.

De Bruyne absence can't be rule out as well, if the guy was available, Manchester City will not go home without a goal, Arsenal will concede in any form. Haaland was on the match but I didn't see him, he couldn't just process chances despite Alvarez and Foden efforts in that match.
Manchester City's squad was indeed incomplete when they lost to Arsenal, but should that be the main reason why Manchester City lost and failed to score? I don't agree if the absence of Rodri and De Bruyne is the only cause of Manchester City's defeat, in fact they still have many other quality players such as Bernardo Silva, Phil Foden, Mateo Kovačić, and many others in the main line-up.

Manchester City's main problem in that match was that they failed to create many chances compared to Arsenal. The match statistics are almost the same, but Arsenal has more chances to score than Manchester City.
They would be an unprofessional club if they think after losing against Arsenal that they were missing key players and that their team was incomplete because they lost against Arsenal. Basically they didn't do well against Arsenal and they missed chances which is why they lost this match.

De Bruyne, Rodri have been sidelined for a long time due to injuries and without them, Manchester City have won the rest of the matches and they have done very well in the Champions League as well.

Instead of making excuses as to why they lost against Arsenal, they should focus on the upcoming matches so that they don't have any regrets about the upcoming matches.
Manchester City are a professional team so we can expect them to bounce back well.

I believe they will correct the errors in their next match to embrace victory that will make people to believe that they are good to return back to first position in the premier league table which is possible if their manager can make De Bruyne and Rodri available in their remaining matches. Despite, those two players De Bruyne and Rodri where not in the match to battle with Arsenal, and they still play with Arsenal as if they are all complete like the way all Arsenal potential players was on ground to battle with them. I know, that this season will going to be a tough season to many teams when they are approaching the middle of the tournament, but Manchester city will still get it right to lead the premier league till the end of the tournament.

Some people think that Manchester City is losing strength because it is currently experiencing decline in ranking which was originally able to be in first place and had to drop to 3rd place and suffered several defeats at the end.
Let go back to last season didn't we also experience something similar but when we reached the middle of the season until we neared the end of the season Manchester City really used all their strength to win first place again and emerge as champions.

Regarding players there are actually no problems with the line-up that they currently have and for young players Manchester City also has quite lot of young players so there is no need to worry too much about players.
Look at the players they have who always perform at their best and in the past few defeats and this drop in ranking could be dangerous strategy in the future because they can still use all their strength to fight for the championship title.

This is not the end for Manchester City and there is still a long way to go to finish in the EPL. And this season can still be said to be new and the two consecutive defeats experienced by Manchester City in the EPL are not a benchmark for their declining performance.
And what we have to remember is that Manchester City was able to achieve a winning streak of up to 13-14 and that will definitely happen again this season, and in my opinion is the only team that is very consistent. However, no team can run smoothly and always win all season and maybe two defeats can be said to be a good start for Manchester City's next game, and Guardiola will not let that happen and he is definitely planning something.
And another reason for the two consecutive defeats in the EPL, maybe because they lost many key players like Kevin De Bruyne and Rodri.
