Arteta is responsible for Saka's injury because he always starts Bukayo Saka every match, and even after being kicked down in an Arsenal match against Tottenham, Arteta still starts him in Arsenal's last Premier League game against Bournemouth. I expect Arteta to rest Saka against Lense so that he will be fully rested to face Manchester City, but he risks the player, and the player ends up getting injured and won't be able to face Arsenal's greatest rival Manchester City.

There is still hope for Arsenal to win the match since Manchester City also have injured players in the squad, and Arsenal can manage to play with Nelson and Trossard with either Jesus or Nketiah at the top, and they can get a result since their midfield is complete.
This is a disadvantage for Arsenal in the upcoming match because Saka is one of the most important players in their squad. However, because Arteta did not make an early rotation, the big impact was the loss of Saka due to the injury he suffered when facing Lens. The Arsenal vs Manchester City match is quite a crucial match for both of them because both teams have injured players so it is believed that matches will be difficult to predict in this week's match. For Pep Guardiola, they will try hard to get back to winning ways after losing to Wolves the previous week.

Arsenal will probably take advantage of the situation in this match with the support of their supporters because this match will take place at the Emirates stadium. Apart from that, if you look at the temporary standings table, of course the final result of this match will make quite a big difference to their ranking this week. If Manchester City manages to win then they are quite safe at the top of the standings. But if they lose, there is an opportunity for Liverpool and Tottenham to move their ranking.

Another 2:3; 3:2 occurrence in today's earlier kickoffs. Shakhtar Donetsk came from a surprise 2-0 nil first half defeat to turn the game in their favor and honestly it was a thrilling performance. Not being impressive in their first game against Porto, the Ukrainian outfit lost  1:3 and I felt there was nothing for them when Antwerp netted two early goals but it seemed they had a big surprise for the hosts. That quick comeback will sure voost their morale and push them up to 3rd place with 3 points equal with FC Porto.

I used to wonder how Feyenoord were able to carry the eredivise title when there was Ajax but this game that unfolded today told me why. Honestly, if it wasn't for gowngood Atletico Madrid were, they would have lost to the Dutch club and one good trait the away team demonstrated was confidence and despite been matched goals for goals, they kept pressing on.
Antoine Greizmann netted a much needed equalizer in the 45+4 minutes of the first half, taking advantage of a slight confusion by Feyenoord and doing a very clinical acrobatic bicycle kick to send the ball flying pasts the safe hands of Wellenreuther. This win was a much needed one as it not only puts them at the top of their group, but it also means that whether they draw their next game with Celtic, they'd still be topping and automatically be candidates for the next round.

Surely this will be a serious problem for Arsenal ahead of their big match against Manchester City later, Bukayo Saka's muscle injury problem is serious enough that he was pulled off the field in the previous match against Lens, and obviously this is a serious concern for Arteta because as we know Saka is one of the important players on their wing. Of course as you say this situation is really very unfortunate when they have to play a big team like Manchester City but they have to lose their key players. Oh well on the other hand I also heard that Arteta was a bit criticized by people for rarely giving Saka a break. Honestly, this is a big problem, and it's true that Arteta must quickly find a solution to this situation, or find a replacement that will not cause a significant void in Saka's absence in the next match against Manchester City. Playing at home in my opinion is a pretty heavy responsibility, even though they will play against the strongest team in the Premier League but still the situation at home seems to require them to achieve good results, agree a draw is not bad enough if victory is not possible.

It seems that Arteta's decision was quite reckless in that match and now he has to lose a key player. Even though now is an important time for Arsenal to beat Manchester City with the main squad, Saka's absence due to injury makes that quite impossible. I think Nelsson is quite suitable to replace Saka and Trossard will probably be used as the left winger as usual.

The team did well in the last year, despite the fact that they moved to 4th place in the standings at the last moment, I think this is a good result. So what is happening to the team now I think it is clearly not because of the coach, there are problems in the team that do not depend on Ten Hag, as a coach he fulfils his function, there is no need to change him. Although lately I don't agree with his policy at all...
Manchester United didn't do well in the beginning of the season last year and they are doing the same this season. In the last two games they lost unexpectedly vs Crystal Palace in EPL and Galatasaray in Champions League. Defensive errors are unforgivable in such highly intense competitions and injuries couldn't be an excuse there.
Their next two games aren't that hard before returning again in Champions League and facing just next Manchester City. I am not very optimistic about them in Champions League nor vs City.

Both of Arsenal and Manchester City are in bad condition, Arsenal will play without Martinelli and Saka while Manchester City will play without Rodri, De Bruyne, Stones and Silva. It's 50:50, so I'm not really convinced if this match is a sure win for Manchester City.

Maybe the result will be draw? Cheesy
Hehehehe, I will love to believe the Gunners can do that but nah. You know, Pep has trained his boys to be able to cope even when their keys players go MIA but that's not the case with Arsenal. I've seen on countless occasions where Pep makes Arteta never forget he is the boss whenever they meet and I've also seen the Gunners being nervous when they get paired against the Citizens so a draw will be giving Arsenal too much credit if you ask me, but then again football can be surprising and I'm hoping for a shocker {preferably positive} from Arteta and his boys.
I agree about your few points but this is still a game and with on game day performance any team can go through for the win both are having injuries and Arsenal are surely facing more trouble but still these things are manageable for them and in this game which is one of the most important in case of win Manchester City will be at pool position for the lead in league table for the long time but in case of draw or Arsenal win things will be on good level because few more teams will be able to catch them, and we will have good fight for the leader spot until end of this season.

Pep is surely one step ahead of the Arteta, but he is also giving his best for this team and their performance is also on their best, but sadly sometime we can't do anything while we have injuries with key players and this is hurting both teams in last few matches.

Arsenal will be playing hosts to Man City this weekend and honestly I'm not hoping on Arteta and his boys to win the game. Last week saw Man City being humiliated by a club no one expected to pull it off, Wolves and they are already seeing red. Like literally because they'd be planning on settling the scores with Arsenal who beat them to taking the community shield.
Another fear that the Gunners might not be able to win against Man City is that Saka is out injured and one might argue that they can do fine without the English winger but we all saw how demoralized they were in yesterday's game after Saka got plagued by an Achilles heel injury that has been bothering him since the end of the 2022/23 season and this will see him missing the top of the table encounter with Man City.
The game will be a tough one and I'm hoping Arteta uses Ramsdale instead of David Raya because the Spaniard was one of the reasons Lens were able to get their first goal, what with him trying to act like he's Onana.

Although Manchester City was defeated by a small team in the Premier League, which was very disappointing to the fans who believed Rodri was the key player for Manchester City at the time, Rodri is currently unable to play due to a red card, so I am unable to predict how the game between these two teams will go. Manchester City really screwed up the defeat they suffered at the hands of Wolves, but it's normal for a team to lose. Even Arsenal screwed up yesterday in a champions league match, though they haven't lost in the premier league, they have in the champions league, and I can see that all of that is due to the team's best player getting injured.

I think Arsenal shouldn't worry about Saka because if they rely on Saka alone, it will affect their performance and they won't be able to win any game again. Saka's injury makes Arsenal feel bad and most of the players can't perform well after that happens. Also, according to the latest information I heard about Saka's injury, it will take some weeks before he returns to play. The team should simply concentrate on their game because if they play Manchester City, Manchester City will win if they don't play normally as they have been doing so far this season. If they don't play normally, Manchester City will be lucky to win.

One of them had to terminate the contract so as not to waste too much money, Erik ten Hag had run out of ideas in building the Red Devils squad, because no matter how expensive the players he brought in, it didn't make the club improve and develop, even becoming a monthly player in Europe, of course that made the players disappointed. Red Devils fans, MU must move quickly and improve itself to correct the imbalance in terms of tactics and strategy and the mental formation of the Red Devils players.
I think sacking the coach would not the solve the problem of the United, their problem is way beyond the coach, from the corrupt and incompetent board, to injury crisis and lack of confidence of players, and it all falls back to how the club owner (glaziers) have handled the club since 18 years ago, I think they need to sell to new owners that is ready to invest into the club and take it back to a better standard, bringing discipline and probably taking back to their glory days, but currently I think the glaziers needs to give ten Hag more time to strategy of getting the boys to start performing better, then hire a psychologist that would help the players build their confidence level, to get them to start performing well like the did the previous season.

However I saw in a news that the board are still in support of Erik Ten Hag despite how poorly the team is performing, and they think he's the rightful person for the present am future project of the club and therefore got no plans to sack him yet, this means that Eric Ten Hag's  job is currently secured for the main time, but needs to work on his tactics as  well as decision making then rest Onana for a while atleast 1 or 2 games to see the 2nd keepers ability.

The team did well in the last year, despite the fact that they moved to 4th place in the standings at the last moment, I think this is a good result. Thanks for sharing and this is really great into what's happening. I missed all of this and you know what, imagine the worst case scenario and this didn't happen at the beginning of the season, but in a head to head race on the last two matchdays when the title was still to be won for two teams and one team would be affected by such a decision. Skipping a goal scene like this and not drawing the graphic line with a computer is something that goes beyond me. I don't get it. I would really like to know whether they had technical issues or prefer to claim "significant human error". Both is really bad because a computer should be able to calculate it unless, and this is a problem, we are talking about 0.5 mm or something like that. Can their computers even catch that? I would also like to know the tolerances because it was very close but if I had to guess, I would say it was a goal. That is unacceptable.

Anybody who watched the game would know that was a clear on-side but the referrees were very quick to dismiss it and after queries from Liverpool players for the goal to be checked, they did and immediately showed that VAR has officially disallowed the goal. What's more interesting is that this happened early in the first half long before Tottenham even scored.

Like you said, if this had happened when each game might decide if title races are a hit or miss, such "significant human errors" can be catastrophic. I thought this is why we have VAR in the first place?

Some interesting development in this case with the release of the audio material. I know it doesn't really matter that the audio material confirms what everybody knew anyway, but it is quite telling that the VAR referee realized he made a mistake but because the game was started again, he couldn't intervene anymore. Isn't that the simplest rule to introduce right there? If within a minute or two a mistake is noticed, there should be an option to intervene and set the game back for two or three minutes instead of screwing it all up so hard.

I understand Klopp who now wishes for the game to be replayed. There is so much on the line in this business and this mistake was really obvious, devastating and the worst, it felt like it was intentional ignorance. Klopp said that other goals are sometimes checked for minutes and this case was closed in seconds. This is what makes it so suspicious. And I agree absolutely with him. Damn sometimes it takes three minutes or so, another view on the monitor and what not.

Saka is one of the crucial player, yes but we don't rely on him too much like we used to few seasons back. I feel that we have got a good density around the squad and I think we still have lot of capable players in the team that can do the job what Saka does. Yeah it's a really a bad news for Gunners but I still won't pick City win for sure here. Arteta knows how important this game is and will try to pick the best team. It's a very important fixture for us against the top contender for the title race.
Gunners are in good shape, contending for EPL League title last season and also having one of the credible performances this season for the purpose to push the team to higher spots. Mikel Arteta have alot of work to handle, he looked more worried about his key player who's under probability of starting against Manchester City. Bukayo Saka picks up an injury against Lens in UEFA Champions League, there's doubt if he would return to training for weekend game against Manchester City. Mikel Arteta would sort out replacements for his winger and probably suits in the best strategy against Pep Guardiola men.

Yes, it's clear, of course it would be a shame if Bukayo Saka couldn't be played in the big match against Manchester City. Because of course, Arsenal also still has a mission to be undefeated at this moment but unfortunately, it seems like Arsenal always has problems regarding key players being injured for important matches like this. But yes, hopefully Arteta can implement a more appropriate strategy to adjust to the shortage of key players like this. Because after all, Arsenal will also be playing at home, and at least it is a necessity for Arsenal to still get points at home. Even though it was only get one point with a draw, of course it would still be a good result for them too.

Now changing of coach in any club is no big deal but here about Erik ten Hag we have to check few things he was impressive in last season but suddenly in this season he is awful which is surprising and Manchester United management can fire him any time but as things are going around for the change of ownership and other problems around this club I have feeling they need to give him time until December because after having this time maybe he changed his strategy, and we will be able to have better results from them in coming matches.

With this result they still have time for giving their best and allowing themselves for having spot into top four in Premier League and also jumped into Champions League next round, but they need to work out on their issues which are hurting them badly, and they are not able to perform as they needed to be in this season after spending huge amount of new players.
Despite getting unsatisfactory match results, I don't think Manchester United management will make any decisions in the near future. Erik Ten Hag will continue to be given the opportunity for the next half of the season or he could be fired if he is unable to get the Red Devils through to the 16th round of the UCL.

But I hope Manchester United will recover soon. It is not easy for any team when a storm of injuries approaches, but this situation makes the team's condition unstable, resulting in bad results. Apart from that, Ten Hag also has to evaluate his squad and he must have the courage to make firm decisions if there are players who fail to understand his instructions and also don't have a big contribution to the team.

I'm most sure it's going to be a win for Manchester city as they have all the advantage to their self, and Manchester city is not known for taking chances at opportunities as this, they will definitely use it to it's maximum, erling haland will be playing so there is very strong hope they would win, the worse that could happen will be a draw which I'm not sure will happen.

Manchester city takes their UCL games too serious to let this game end in a draw or loss, and they aswell need the points to go steps further in the group and make sure to secure a spot at the round of sixteen. Arsenal is aswell in their best of form but they they will not be playing with their full squad so they are definitely going to be affected really badly I hope the have a way to cover up for it

It's really going to be a tough match but then both teams will definitely get a goal as they are both goal oriented and they have got the strikers who will definitely deliver them with goals just that the goals may not come in in it's numbers but they I feel a minimum of three goals should be expected in that match, Arsenal will be playing from home so that could be an advantage for them although man city is good with away game aswell.

The match against Arsenal and Manchester City will be a tough game for both teams, but I believe Manchester City will try their hardest to defeat them this weekend, because man_city are in form this season and they are stronger than the club am very sure Manchester city will defeat arsenal even Rodri, De Bruyne, Stones are not around the rest of the players we perform well i believe Pep Guardiola will try everything possible to win the match, is a very risky game for arsenal Without Martinelli and Saka, I don't think Arsenal can accomplish anything Let's see what will happens in the match, but there will be a chance for Manchester City to overcome Arsenal this weekend, Football is unpredictable but in my opinion, Manchester City will win without a draw.

Earlier in the previous season we saw the performance of Manchester United. The group was completely aimless. And their performance was very poor. Manchester United's performance began to improve after Ten hag became the coach of the team. And at the end of the season we saw this team at the fourth place in the points table. And since Manchester United's performance improved after Ten hag became the coach, we had high expectations from Ten Hag this season. Manchester United management also provided Ten Hag with enough funds to strengthen the squad by adding players of Ten Hag's choice to the squad. But since the beginning of this season, Manchester United's performance has been very poor. Last season we considered Ten Hag a success, but this season it looks like Ten Hag is a failure. I don't know what decision Manchester United will take. But if this performance continues, I think United management should look for a new coach.
I know that there are always good consequences and bad consequences in every different season. Even if a club disburses a lot of transfer budget, it also does not guarantee that the team's performance will match what is expected.

Ten Hag has had a good performance as Manchester United coach, but the current condition of the team is not good which I don't think is due to a transfer error. Several important players such as Rashford were unable to perform at their best, as did Bruno Fernandez. I also highlighted many other shortcomings on the right wing as well as the defence, it is something different compared to last season. I can't agree that Manchester United currently wants to find a replacement for Ten Hag, but if during the first half he fails, then that would be the right time to get a replacement.

That's why it is also important to rotate players otherwise this shouldn't have happened. Over the time you also risk of make that player injury prone. With now a good density I actually expect Arteta to rotate players but it seems like he was relying on Sala too much. Well anyway hope Saka injury isn't too serious and will join us soon enough. Now about the games till then I expect Arteta to start with Rowe as he really has that energy on wing like Saka. A draw will be a good result but with Spurs finding their form back again it's not the City we are competing only. So we do need the 3 points and not a draw. A draw will also be a decent outcome but target should be to get the 3 points.

If management fired Erik Ten Hag impartially, of course it would be detrimental and would not be in accordance with the contract and duration specified, of course they would incur compensation money if the dismissal occurred, of course both of them would have to be blamed for buying players who did not match their purchase and even the skills they had purchased. have at that standard and just enjoy the money he has, to contribute to the club as usual there is nothing special about the players brought in by the Red Devils.
After all, that this season is Erik ten Hag second season as head coach of Manchester United, and Erik ten Hag failure has only occurred at this moment. Because after all, at least Erik ten Hag managed to provide good results for Manchester United in his first season or last season. Therefore, with Erik ten Hag success last season, then Manchester United in this season can to play in the Champion League. So, it seems very unfair if Erik ten Hag is fired at this moment because after all, basically Erik ten Hag can still be given the opportunity to be able to return Manchester United back to good performance again.

Arteta is on his way to making a big mistake on his team, I don't know why Arsenal would make Saka the very key man that without him on the squad they would start running around like a team without a leader. I don't care how long Saka's injury would last but Arteta need to learn from Pep Guardiola that nobody is too special in the squad but in this Arsenal side is like without a certain player in the starting 11 they can't play. I feel other players have what it takes to beat City that's if they defend well and take advantage of their opportunities in that very encounter. At some point I just feel Arsenal faked the first injury on Saka and last night the real injury caught up with him and if that's the case then the Arteta will pay by losing points till Saka recovers.

It was not saka but it must be odegaard. Sakay was playing against lens and then you saw that if arsenal still losses. There's nothing to be debated about this match as arsenal was losing against lens caused by lens has a solid squad compared with arsenal.
Arsenal doesn't have a player who can play as good as saka and it might be the reason why arteta was not willing to let him out due to the injury. This bottle club will always be performing like that.
No doubt lens has a better record against arsenal. How optimistic people once arsenal was leading the match with one goal but i can't hear the gunners were yelling for his club after arsenal was losing the game.
This club needs to learn about how not to be a bottle club for sure. It's a common thing to see arsenal was losing like that yet arteta said that if he would be learning a lot from the match against lens.
We will see that what solution for the inconsistentcy of arsenal right now. I see no solution other than strengthen its mentality.

Anywhere David Gea is right now will be laughing so hard. How Manchester United moves from a goal keeper that receive medal of golden glove to Onana is really traumatizing, you can't compare Onana stats with De Gea, I'm not sure about Onana place in his former team but coming to Manchester United is one of the worst move I have seen in Manchester United, either he is encourage to improve or eventually improve, Onana will not last in that club because they will dispose him and if there is not a buyer, they will bench him and bring another competent goal keeper.
Even De Gea definitely continues to get entertainment when watching his former team compete because they have always had bad results so far. That is real karma for Manchester United because they have thrown away an experienced goalkeeper like De Gea and preferred a goalkeeper who was only good for one season. Erik ten Hag certainly no longer has a face in front of the Red Devils fans and now we know very well that this coach's quality is only good in the Dutch league when he handles Ajax. Manchester United is a big team and he shouldn't compare it to Ajax, where even the competitive level of the league also feels very different.

In fact, Manchester United still has a good goalkeeper like Altay Bayindir, who they brought in from Fenerbahce this summer, but unfortunately Erik Ten Hag doesn't want to trust him at the moment.
I think it is appropriate for Erik ten Hag to be fired, since the beginning of his arrival at Manchester United he has made a lot of changes but this team has not improved and even his relationship with the players is not harmonious, Erik ten Hag must be responsible for all of this.
And in the UCL match against Galatasaray, Onana again became the subject of discussion because of his poor performance, and in my opinion, from the first time, Onana's performance was not impressive and the decision made by Ten Hag to replace De Gea with Onana was quite a fatal mistake.
Sometimes we have to look from the other side and not just judge from the bad side and now if everyone is blaming Erik Ten Hag, was it last season when Manchester United experienced a bad situation after which they rose to 3rd place, was that also Ten Hag's fault?
We should maturely assess the badness of a team and not just blame the coach and all of this should be seen from how the players actually perform and regarding the problem with Sancho, this is also not Ten Hag's fault but both parties, Sancho as a player also has bad things that cannot be avoided. receive guidance from a coach.
I'm not a Manchester United fan but I'm just concerned to see that most people blame Ten Hag even though he has helped this club improve its performance for the better.

I have to be agreed with you about this, but now we need to check few realities as well with Manchester City is not good as we have them lost their last two games and now after few hours they are going to face another challenging match against German giant RB Leipzig which is performing impressively in last few weeks, and they can give another shock to Manchester City which could be not good for their confidence in coming weeks and Arsenal which is having shocking defeat in last game against Lens is also looking for the perfect reply against the league leaders.

Saka injury is surely big problem for them, and they have to settle this, but surely they also need to work on goalkeeping as well which give them poor result in last game in France but what is going in Arteta mind nothing is clear, hopefully things will be positive on Sunday for this match.

Cheesy
