Arsenal will be playing hosts to Man City this weekend and honestly I'm not hoping on Arteta and his boys to win the game. Last week saw Man City being humiliated by a club no one expected to pull it off, Wolves and they are already seeing red. Like literally because they'd be planning on settling the scores with Arsenal who beat them to taking the community shield.
I know Manchester City will definitely want revenge in the match, but I wasn't impressed by their performance in their last match. They played against the Wolves and they lost the match, their squad wasn't just okay in the match, and it was caused by their current players injuries and the red card collected by Rodrigo. I don't know if Pep Guardiola will be able to come up with a better strategy. So I cant really say anything about the match, but I know it will be a difficult one for the two clubs.

Another fear that the Gunners might not be able to win against Man City is that Saka is out injured and one might argue that they can do fine without the English winger but we all saw how demoralized they were in yesterday's game after Saka got plagued by an Achilles heel injury that has been bothering him since the end of the 2022/23 season and this will see him missing the top of the table encounter with Man City.
Let's see how it goes, but you know some Manchester City players have been on injury since the beginning of the season. All strong clubs are facing the problem of players going on injury, which is affecting almost all the strong teams in  Premier League currently. Let's see how the match goes, but I still have little hope in Manchester City. Let's see if they will be able to win the match.

Saka is one of the crucial player, yes but we don't rely on him too much like we used to few seasons back. I feel that we have got a good density around the squad and I think we still have lot of capable players in the team that can do the job what Saka does. Yeah it's a really a bad news for Gunners but I still won't pick City win for sure here. Arteta knows how important this game is and will try to pick the best team. It's a very important fixture for us against the top contender for the title race.
Gunners are in good shape, contending for EPL League title last season and also having one of the credible performances this season for the purpose to push the team to higher spots. Mikel Arteta have alot of work to handle, he looked more worried about his key player who's under probability of starting against Manchester City. Bukayo Saka picks up an injury against Lens in UEFA Champions League, there's doubt if he would return to training for weekend game against Manchester City. Mikel Arteta would sort out replacements for his winger and probably suits in the best strategy against Pep Guardiola men.

I think that gunners shall also learn from what happened last season. It's too early to say that if arsenal was in the right way to be a strongest contender to win EPL this season. The club was getting perfect result last season but city was winning the title.
We shall wait the competition to reach the middle of season. We will able to determine which club that will be potentially winning the title this season. I don't even wanna try to talk about the possibility caused by bookies were still favoring manchester city to win the title again. The competition is still going on and arsenal will have busy schedules that may also affect the performance from the club. I have no problem with it at all.
Let's see what's happening with this meriam london till the middle of season. I think that city will be making its comeback soon. Arsenal and totenham still unbeatable but it doesn't mean these clubs have biggest chance to win the trophy.

One of them had to terminate the contract so as not to waste too much money, Erik ten Hag had run out of ideas in building the Red Devils squad, because no matter how expensive the players he brought in, it didn't make the club improve and develop, even becoming a monthly player in Europe, of course that made the players disappointed. Red Devils fans, MU must move quickly and improve itself to correct the imbalance in terms of tactics and strategy and the mental formation of the Red Devils players.
I think sacking the coach would not the solve the problem of the United, their problem is way beyond the coach, from the corrupt and incompetent board, to injury crisis and lack of confidence of players, and it all falls back to how the club owner (glaziers) have handled the club since 18 years ago, I think they need to sell to new owners that is ready to invest into the club and take it back to a better standard, bringing discipline and probably taking back to their glory days, but currently I think the glaziers needs to give ten Hag more time to strategy of getting the boys to start performing better, then hire a psychologist that would help the players build their confidence level, to get them to start performing well like the did the previous season.

However I saw in a news that the board are still in support of Erik Ten Hag despite how poorly the team is performing, and they think he's the rightful person for the present am future project of the club and therefore got no plans to sack him yet, this means that Eric Ten Hag's  job is currently secured for the main time, but needs to work on his tactics as  well as decision making then rest Onana for a while atleast 1 or 2 games to see the 2nd keepers ability.

Though Saka is a important player for Arsenal his injury is a big blow to the team especially now that they have a very crucial game against their bitter rival, though Man City too had some of their players ruled out due to injury and Rodri another important player is also suspended for Man City after being shown a Red card against Wolves last weekend, I think it's going to be a tough match I expect Arteta to find a replacement for Saka at the flank or wing possibly Nelson or Pablo Viera either of the two players can play at the flank, Moreso who knows probably that would be an opportunity for any of those players who is expected to take up that role shine.

Manchester United is falling even more and I think Ten Hag is making wrong decisions over and over.
He let Antony play just after the player was back to the team training and we knew the fans were still against him.
Also, we saw Sancho near Carrington training in Manchester United maybe even this payer will get back to Manchester United and this shows any palyer can have any behavior but in the end they can still play there which is not good for Ten Hag and his team.

I wouldn't take into account the fans too much whether I let a player play or not. If a manager were to do that, what would be with all those players that weren't welcome when they newly joined a club? Let them sit on the bench only because the fans have a problem with the player? That is not a viable approach for any manager ever.

But Ten Hag making wrong decisions is the problem or maybe his training isn't good. I don't think that he lets the wrong players play all the time, but they don't perform well, which is more indicative of problems during the trainings.

Yeah it's a real issue when a player gets injured but we do have options like Rowe, Havertz, Nelson, Trossard who can do well playing at that position. It's about adaptability and Arteta needs to assess that before selecting the replacing player for Saka in the lineup. I think Arteta is not worried about Saka injured for City game but he is more worried about how long it will take for Saka to be back again.

It's a tough decision to make but I feel Arteta has lot of options. Like I said, he has to assess a lot before making the right one that he feels but we really can't afford to lose this match or share a point against City. We need to win in order to be ahead of City.

Of course his capacity as Man United coach is questionable because so far there have been no significant changes, in my opinion player transfers are not the reason because currently the composition of Man United players is far above the average of other players and I wonder why Erik Ten Heg doesn't want to resign. and I'm surprised management doesn't want to kick Erik Ten Heg.

I am also questioning the possibility of Erik ten Hag when he will be fired. It was thought that expensive contracts would help MU fly higher in the second season with Ten Hag, but that did not happen. The crisis of the players and form has caused continuous losses since the beginning of the new season. Ten Hag teachers and students will have no satisfactory excuse for this failure. They made too many mistakes and had to pay the price.
Ten Hag's chair shook violently. I suspect Man Utd's leadership is looking for someone to replace him. The board of directors should do something. We can't let him continue to destroy the club. Man Utd fans will not have the patience to wait and then be disappointed.
I think the possibility of Ten Hag being fired will come true if he fails again in the next two or three matches. Moreover, if the Dutch coach fails to get United through to the last 16 of the UCL, I think management will determine their attitude at that time. If you look at The Red Devils next three matches in the EPL, United will face Brentford, Sheffield United and Man City. The first two clubs are a little easier, but Man City is a tough test for them. Determining Ten Hag fate will really depend on the opponent he will face, hopefully Ten Hag will be lucky in the next two matches.

Club officials and fans will certainly never be happy about their favorite club continuing to lose, they only need 3 points for each match, not an explanation for anything. What is clear is that management must take action from now on, if bad luck has not disappeared from Old Trafford and Ten Hag must leave immediately.

Both of Arsenal and Manchester City are in bad condition, Arsenal will play without Martinelli and Saka while Manchester City will play without Rodri, De Bruyne, Stones and Silva. It's 50:50, so I'm not really convinced if this match is a sure win for Manchester City.

Maybe the result will be draw? Cheesy
Both teams are equally disadvantaged by the absence of several important players and it looks like this match will be a draw but both teams will still score goals against each other. However, it doesn't rule out the possibility that Arsenal can win because they are playing at home and even though I also know Arsenal have never won against Manchester City, this time they have to try so they can get full points and widen the gap from Manchester City.

Apart from that, I think if Haaland is guarded closely then Manchester City will also have difficulty scoring goals like the previous match against Wolves which made them suffer their first defeat this season. So Arsenal must really take advantage of every opportunity that exists to be able to take the lead first to the frustration of the Manchester City players.

Yeah we all know despite being based at Arsenal's home some don't doubt Man City will lose because we see Pep Guardiola's troops will be better prepared for the following week but with yesterday's defeat to Wolves it might be a mistake from Pep's strategy hopefully this won't happen again.
Yes, I agree with you on what you just said above, because despite the fact that Man-City lost it's game while playing from Away against Newcastle and Wolves, I doubt if they are going to allow such incident repeat itself this coming weekend against Arsenal, despite the fact we having "Rodri" not to play this game because of the red card, but I'm sure with the presence of Erling Haaland, this match is likely to turn out 90% positive or end up as draw, because if you could have a look at previous match performance, you will notice Man-City always being at advantage over Arsenal for more than 6 Premier league matches since 2021.

Comparing Onana and De Gea, if it is only about saving ability, De Gea is better. If it is about passing, in theory Onana is better but the yesterday match with Galatasary shows that Onana is not too good with passing. With a goalkeeper, is passing a most important skill?

Passing isn't the most vital ability for a goalkeeper to have, but knowing how to pass properly gives the team an advantage, and goalkeeper’s won't make the same careless passing mistakes that Onana did which cost them a penalty against Galatasaray. When comparing these two goalkeepers, what matters most is their ability to save, the one with the better clean record should be the better of the two. When compared to goalkeepers who are competent at goalkeeping, a goalkeeper who cannot save his side from goals should not be held in high esteem.

Arsenal might suffer against Manchester City cause they'll be playing without two of their key players Martinelli and Saka who are out due to injuries and would need creativity in their attacking line to be able to beat city's defense, Pep Guardiola could take advantage of Arsenal's lose and come up with a strategy that would make them score more goals, against Arsenal.

This was supposed to be a very intriguing match if both clubs had their full squads. Unfortunately for Arsenal, two of their key players are out due to injury. Manchester City is quite effective at exploiting their opponents, particularly its closest rivals, like in the case of Arsenal. They will not give Arsenal enough chances to take control of the game, and they will do everything in their power to win and keep their place in the league after losing their last match in the Premier League to Wolves. I still expect the game to be exciting, but it will depend on how Arsenal performs on that particular day.

Maybe there are other things that are still being considered by the team management so they don't want to fire Erik Ten Hag at this time even though the series of bad results for Manchester United is still happening. The players in the Manchester United squad are not that bad if you look at the quality they have, but what I am surprised is that the results of every important match are not very satisfactory so this needs to be questioned about the way they have played so far.

No excuses are acceptable. They need to perform better and secure a victory. Erik ten Hag has the club's support, as they see him as the right person for the current and future plans. It's important not to change coaches during tough periods but support them to bounce back. That's how they build a strong, long-term team. However, the team's balance isn't right yet, but I'm sure it will improve. And then, these lad definitely turn into a real threat against any team.
I don't expect much from Ten Hag for a short time even though this is his second season as Manchester United coach. Ten Hag should get good support instead of voicing his dismissal, that's what he should get instead of mocking the results of his team's performance on the field.

After all, Manchester United have not won the Premier League title for so long even though they have managed to qualify for the Champions League in 3 of the last 4 seasons, meaning it is still very difficult for us to hope that Ten Hag is the first coach to win it since the 2012-2013 season. Not a single coach has succeeded in making Manchester United win the Premier League title in the last 10 years, in fact I don't expect Ten Hag to be able to do it easily.

Earlier in the previous season we saw the performance of Manchester United. The group was completely aimless. And their performance was very poor. Manchester United's performance began to improve after Ten hag became the coach of the team. And at the end of the season we saw this team at the fourth place in the points table. And since Manchester United's performance improved after Ten hag became the coach, we had high expectations from Ten Hag this season. Manchester United management also provided Ten Hag with enough funds to strengthen the squad by adding players of Ten Hag's choice to the squad. But since the beginning of this season, Manchester United's performance has been very poor. Last season we considered Ten Hag a success, but this season it looks like Ten Hag is a failure. I don't know what decision Manchester United will take. But if this performance continues, I think United management should look for a new coach.

Hehehehe, I will love to believe the Gunners can do that but nah. You know, Pep has trained his boys to be able to cope even when their keys players go MIA but that's not the case with Arsenal. I've seen on countless occasions where Pep makes Arteta never forget he is the boss whenever they meet and I've also seen the Gunners being nervous when they get paired against the Citizens so a draw will be giving Arsenal too much credit if you ask me, but then again football can be surprising and I'm hoping for a shocker {preferably positive} from Arteta and his boys.

Smart is not enough, there must be skills
I also don't expect Arsenal to win in that match because in fact Manchester City will try their best to avoid losing in a two-match losing streak. Losing to Wolves was surprising, so Pep Guardiola will try to do something that can give his team more confidence to stay at the top of the standings.

I agree Arsenal and Arteta would probably be better prepared after their defeat against Lens in the Champions League. Losing Saka will have an impact on Arsenal's performance, but Arteta actually still has options for his attack line. But before that match, I was curious about how Manchester City would form up against Leipzig today in the Champions League. I'm happy to say Manchester City can win this match and I also want to see Haaland score.

On the other hand if I try to bet on Arsenal there is still a little doubt than Man City. Roll Eyes

Arteta will definitely evaluate after last night's defeat with Lens, then the game becomes tough again even though it's in front of their own fans, I think it won't be lost just like that maybe goals will be exchanged? But I don't think it will be many goals.

No doubt Man City's defeat tonight in the UCL, this remains the favorite.

This is going to be an intense match and I don’t think it’ll be an easy one to decide who will win in this match by weekend. Manchester City been beating by wolves is not an opportunity for Arsenal to prevail against them easily, their loss to wolves could be a booster to them to get back to their winning ways again after a sad weekend outing last week. Arsenal will also be looking forward to keep up or close the point gap between them and Manchester City, so the my will not also relent in this match and will want to get the best out of it too.

The game will be a tough one and I'm hoping Arteta uses Ramsdale instead of David Raya because the Spaniard was one of the reasons Lens were able to get their first goal, what with him trying to act like he's Onana.

Saka’s injury was a blow to Arsenal on their champions league match yesterday with Lens but it happens in football, they just need to have a plan B mapped out that will give them an edge over Manchester City in their weekend fixture against them. Saka has been an over whole dependent player to Arsenal which is not suppose to be so, sometimes he needs to be benched to rest, playing all the matches always leads to fatigue which has now caused him an injury at the expense of the team when they needed him the most in this weekend match. I hope their plan B works out for them.

You don’t need to compare David Raya to Onana base on their performance and wants Ramsdale to keep ahead of him because of last match result. At least David Raya performance this season on goals conceded is better off than that of Onana. Whether Ramsdale or David Raya, they really need to win this match.

If management fired Erik Ten Hag impartially, of course it would be detrimental and would not be in accordance with the contract and duration specified, of course they would incur compensation money if the dismissal occurred, of course both of them would have to be blamed for buying players who did not match their purchase and even the skills they had purchased. have at that standard and just enjoy the money he has, to contribute to the club as usual there is nothing special about the players brought in by the Red Devils.

After all, that this season is Erik ten Hag second season as head coach of Manchester United, and Erik ten Hag failure has only occurred at this moment. Because after all, at least Erik ten Hag managed to provide good results for Manchester United in his first season or last season. Therefore, with Erik ten Hag success last season, then Manchester United in this season can to play in the Champion League. So, it seems very unfair if Erik ten Hag is fired at this moment because after all, basically Erik ten Hag can still be given the opportunity to be able to return Manchester United back to good performance again.
