The problem is not only from the defender the whole team lacks confidence especially the midfield area, they're not really working hard to mark their opponents and recover the ball,  I wonder how they got to this point, they lack creativity, team spirit and play like they're not training enough, if you noticed the ball was always going to the back and it felt like Manchester United defense where the only ones enjoying the game in their team, Marcus has to work on his pride, he needs to start working with Højlund because he fails to release passes at the accurate time to him

 Though United won the game their performance was really poor and at a point in the 2nd half Burnley dominated the game with a 90% ball possession while United had just 10 this is one of their poorest performance so far, Burnley deserved to win the game, they were so impressive but lacked a good finisher to help the convert the good chances they had.

Manchester United is just lucky to win against Burnley tonight. It is not that they played outstanding football that they deserved three points that they got but at least they put some certain level of efforts into the match and to summarise it all three points is the goal of the match no matter how many goals that was called.
Manchester United defence line has never been a good one this season due to the absence of some defenders at some particular time, but thanks to the return of Evans and he has proven that he is capable of being in Manchester United starting 11. He deserve the man-of-the-match award that Bruno Fernandes gift to him.

They needed to win this match by all means following their back to back defeat on three matches now. They really did well by winning this match which I expected them to have added more goals following many goals they’ve conceded already in the premier League.

Burnley are currently in poor form and they had no chance against Manchester United. They’ve only drew one match and lost four out of their five premier league matches played so far this season. Manchester United has always have a good record ahead of them.

In their last five meeting with Manchester United, Man United drew only one and won all the remaining four with them, that is, Manchester United are always ahead of them and the win should not come as a surprise.

I don't think you need to be disappointed because Manchester United's performances this season is weak, so for Manchester United, playing with a team like Burnley is not going to be easy for them, and again, why Burnley looks so strong like this is because of they are playing at home, and I always notice that with weak teams and even big teams, they always carry their home games so seriously.
 
But all I expected from Manchester United was the three points, and that is what they have gained and what matters most. But seriously, Burley really performed well today, and they deserved to be the team to win the match or draw, but they were just unlucky.

It is an easy prediction, the level of Man City is far above Nottm Forest. I'm sure everyone must bet on Man City in this match, there is no reason people will bet on Nottm Forest.

Yes, the red card for Rodri is very unnecessary. Man City only played against Nottm Forest, it is not a strong team in EPL. I think Rodri doesn't need too play aggressively. Sure, losing 1 player is very influential in football match. It sometimes changes a lot the match.

Agree. If Man City still played with 11 players, I'm sure they will score 2 goals in second half at least. But losing 1 player, make it a bit difficult for Man City. If we look at the stats, Man City couldn't make many shot attempts like usual. During the match, Man City only have 7 shot attempts, it is far below the usual number of Man City shot attempts.

I think when was without Maguire playing in the club, Man United's defender performance will be much better. but in reality, it's not much different, they still don't have a good performance at the back line. Especially when Maguire is around, this was serious and cannot be helped.
In fact, their problems, especially in the back line, are really complex. It seems like the lack of high motivation for them makes them more solid in defending their back line. So this will be very difficult for the goalkeeper to optimize his abilities.

Man United was very grateful to win 0 - 1 against Burnley, because throughout the match, Man United seemed overwhelmed by the play of the Burnley players. Luckily, Burnley players are also not a club that has a sharp and accurate attack line, so their front line performance can still be beaten by Man United. This match is quite interesting because it makes Man United fans anxious when they see how their idol competes against this middle-class club. Manchester united has always had this defensive issues and today wasn't left to an exception as the lack of communication and error is just all over the place, its quite unfortunate that they are yet to fix this defensive issue untill it may cost them an important game and of course this game is an important one as such I just pray they win as they are in the 90rh minute already.

Burnley seemed like a weak team but it's quite surprising how they are give Manchester united a hard time from the first half of the game they came out and showed some level of attacking strength of which if the had added an extra effort it would have yielded a goal but then they are still the weak team they are and it's very sad how Manchester united couldn't make use of that advantage to it's fullest.

It's 1-0 in favour of Manchester united of which if it ends like this I still see it as a weak win not impressive enough from their play as I expected even more from them although the strikers and attackers have been at their best, I must commend rashford as he is trying, but for once I got scared as Burnley did had greater possession at the later part of the first half. This game is a must win for Manchester united and I don't expect any less.

Man United after the goal in the first half, they have been in possession of the game and they lost more chance than the host Burnley. The problem is that they keep missing their chances of scoring more goals. As for Burnley, they didn't put in much effort compared to that of the first half, and this makes them have a slim chance of equalising the goal. Manchester united don't look like a club in crisis tonight, as they are playing brilliantly, I think that they have come for the suppose to win the match. One of the most spectacle victory for Manchester united, and Fernerdez sealed up the victory with one goal.

Manchester United deserves to win this game after losses in the Premier League to Arsenal and Brighton, as well as a defeat to Bayern Munich in their Champions League opener at Aliens Arena.

Moreover, Manchester United have a strong statistical possibility of winning the match because they have only drawn one of their last five meetings against Burnley; they have been winning them for a long time, so a 1-0 win away from home is not a bad outcome given their current form.

Manchester United must be playing with the worst alternatives in the defense line right now. I mean the centre-back duo now. Varane is in the subs and Martinez hasn't even been brought to the game. But at least the opponent is Burnley which is helping Manchester United on one hand.

It is still going on with the Red Devils' 1-0 lead. But this score is always risky no matter what your opponent is. I hope Manchester United can score another goal as soon as possible. This is really an important game to win and recover a little.

Evans performance in this game has been topnotch so far, from the disallowed goal he scored and the assist he gave Bruno to score.
Not only in this game but in previous games Evans has been able to justify his come back to the Manchester United squad and also his place in the starting eleven judging from how well he tries to coordinate the defence line in this game seems to me as if the Manchester United side are gonna keep a clean sheet tonight, we hope to see that. United performance this second half has improved, maybe is because of the confidence of the goal scored.

Manchester United managed to take a 1-0 lead, looking like they would be able to win the match 1-0. But I am not satisfied with Manchester United's performance. Despite getting full 3 points in the match, their performance was poor.

Burnley are playing well. Relatively weak team Burnley. Even then they managed to put up a strong resistance against Manchester United. United would have conceded several goals in this match if Burnley's attack had been a bit stronger.

Bruno and Casemiro are playing very well today. Also the performance of Rashfor is quite good. However, United's main striker Hojlund's performance was poor today. However, the performance of Madrid defender Jonny Evans is worth seeing today. Evans has scored two goals so far, but one goal has been disallowed.

The things Pep does when doing tactics are always unpredictable but the results are really perfect for them because with whatever scheme Pep does in the match they really always play very well and Pep knows the abilities of the players in his team so even if he makes changes in the middle of the match the results are still very good.
Today's match was the same, after Rodri's red card, instead of strengthening the defence they added more players in attack when Ake was replaced by Julian Alvarez but the result was very good because they played with 10 players but were able to dominate the midfield well.


Playing against 11 players did not make Manchester City falter even though they could not add goals but they were able to delay the game very well and Nottingham Forrest could not do much even though they played with full strength.
In this match, the experience and individual skills of the players really made the difference so that even though Manchester City played limping, they were still on the same track as the previous few matches with dominance and high determination.

Burnley dominated possession of the ball in the first half, they also managed to create several opportunities but have so far failed to score. Bruno Fernandes scored in the 45th minute to end the first half with a win, but I think Burnley could have scored too if their performance had improved in the second half.

I think this match will end in a 1-1 draw if Burnley manages to score a goal in the second half, but of course it is true that Manchester United is favored in this match instead of the home team. Of course it would be interesting to know the final result.

The first half of the match has ended and Manchester United is leading Buenley 1-0, but I am still disappointed in Manchester United. I was expecting a better performance from them since they are playing against a weak team, but I noticed that Burnley had better chances in the first half of the match, but they couldn't convert all to goal. Burnley dominated the match in the first half. I am not really confident yet that Manchester United is going to win the match, their defense is so weak in the match, and Burnley are finding it easy to penetrate. If Manchester United are playing against a stronger club, they will have conceded a lot of goals in the first half of the match. But let's see what happens in the second half of the match.

Burnley is an average club, dominated the first half but lack the chances of securing a goal inothe to lead in the game. Manchester United were very cautious in the first half, absorbing all the pressures and finally invading the home team territory, Bruno Fernandez scored a stunning goal. United are leading 1 nil in half-time, there's more actions to watch in the second half because Burnley would want to come back to level game, which might likely happen, Erik Ten Hag defendlines is not strong enough to hold down pressure, it would be temporary and not permanent.

Man Utd barely scored in the last minutes in the first half and now they got an amazing result for the second half just hopefully they take advantage of it. I got Man Utd to win so hopefully they dont spill this lead that they got in the first half. Burnley will need to attack now.

A world class goal was used to break the deadlock on the first minute of the extra time by Bruno Fernerdez , to give Manchester United a relief in the first half. Burnley was in possession of the match but it turned out that they weren't lucky to score any goal before the end of the first half.

I just hope that Manchester United will be able to use this goal as an advantage to win Burnley, so that they can secure three points after a long time now. One the other hand Burnley might come back in the second half with a welcome back and this is will be very disastrous for Manchester United.

Sincerely UNITED performance in this match had been below expectations, is as if they are playing with just individual talents not like a team with a unique style of play.
Burnley on the other hand are strongly holding it down as home team.
The disallowed goal that UNITED scored was a the right decision taken by VAR.
this first half might just end up in a draw from what I'm seeing here

They haven’t been impressive in my opinion and I think the defense has been so far really poor. They had a goal earlier scored by a header but was checked and cancelled with support from the VAR. I had thought that goal had no infractions but apparently the referee knows better.
That goal would have given United some much needed motivation to aim for more goals. Burnley shouldn’t be underestimated as despite being the weaker side of the two, they have been so far, been able to put in some pressure and hold Man United to a draw. I wouldn’t be so surprised if they score a goal anytime soon.
